01:03I had really difficult moments, and I wasn't playing that good, I guess.
01:13I just didn't feel as good as the match against Diminao, for example,
01:19so I thought about to find a way just to try to come back or to win a match.
01:27So, you know, the number one thought, I didn't think about it at all.
01:34You know, during the match, I was just trying to get the win, how it is possible.
01:42Good that I got it, and obviously it was a really important step for classified to the swimming final.
01:50Hi, Carlos. Huge congrats, great comeback.
01:53I was wondering, your match finished like a couple of hours ago.
01:57What's your routine post-match like?
02:00Because I imagine you have so many things to do.
02:04Is, like, the press conference the last thing you do before leaving from here?
02:09What are you going to do tonight and everything?
02:14Well, it depends on the match, it depends on the day.
02:17There are some days after the match that I come straight to the press conference,
02:23and then I do everything else after all.
02:27Today was a little bit different, so I was tired, so I wanted to cool down a little bit,
02:36take the shower.
02:37where it's something, and then probably this, you know, the press conference is the last thing
02:43before going back to the hotel and get treatment.
02:47But this is the invisible match that we call, you know,
02:53just to get everything ready to recover as good as it can and as fast as it can for the next round.
02:59Hello, Carlos.
03:05Taylor praised your level after the match, and he praised your sense of anticipation.
03:10When he had easy four hands, sometimes he missed,
03:13and he said it's because Carlos is always guessing where the ball is going to go.
03:18Question simple, how do you do that?
03:20Well, just, I'm trying to be in his mind before he's hitting.
03:32I don't know, it just depends.
03:35We study a lot, the players.
03:40In some matches where, or in the easy balls where he's going to hit more often,
03:48sometimes he changes, and the players change,
03:51but there are always a spot that he feels more comfortable to hit in a difficult moment
03:58or in a pressure moment.
04:00So we study that, and then we try to have that instinct, you know,
04:08to go to that side and pray that he's going to be to that side.
04:12I think today I went to the correct side a couple of times,
04:18so probably after all he felt a little bit in pressure in that ball,
04:24so that's why he missed a little bit.
04:26But I was just thinking about one side and go for it.
04:32Just to bounce back on that, do you feel a little like a goalkeeper against a penalty?
04:37Do you have data for that?
04:40Is it some mindset more or less?
04:42Yeah, I mean, it is like a goalkeeper going for a penalty.
04:50So it's just thinking about it,
04:57thinking like if I'm in his position where I should hit.
05:03So that's why.
05:05Just think on one side and go for it.
05:10I think sometimes it works, sometimes it isn't.
05:14But you have to do it like that.
05:15Thank you.
05:16Thank you.
05:19Thank you.
05:20Thank you.
