The Galaxy awaits. Check out the first trailer for The Super Mario Galaxy Movie, an upcoming animated film based on the world of Super Mario Bros., and a follow-up to 2023's The Super Mario Bros. Movie. The Super Mario Galaxy Movie stars returning cast members Chris Pratt (who voices Mario), Jack Black (who voices Bowser), Anya Taylor-Joy (who voices Princess Peach), Charlie Day (who voices Luigi), and Keegan-Michael Key (who voices Toad). New cast members include Brie Larson (who voices Rosalina) and Bennie Safdie (who voices Bowser Jr.).

The Super Mario Galaxy Movie gives us our first look at Rosalina, who will be voiced by Brie Larson, along with Bowser Jr. will be voiced by Bennie Safdie. Both the 2023 film and The Super Mario Galaxy Movie are produced by Chris Meledandri of Illumination and Shigeru Miyamoto of Nintendo.

The Super Mario Galaxy Movie is directed by returning filmmakers Aaron Horvath and Michael Jelenic, from a screenplay by returning screenwriter Matthew Fogel, with Brian Tyler returning to compose the score.

The Super Mario Galaxy Movie opens in theaters in April 2026.
