Tensions in the occupied West Bank have escalated once again after masked Israeli settlers reportedly set fire to Palestinian property, injuring four people in the process.
According to Palestinian officials, the attacks took place overnight in several villages near Nablus, where groups of settlers entered under the cover of darkness, torching vehicles, agricultural land, and homes before fleeing the scene. Local residents said the attackers were armed and masked, and that Israeli security forces arrived only after the fires had spread.
Medical sources confirmed that at least four Palestinians were injured — two of them suffering burns and smoke inhalation. Videos shared on social media appeared to show fires raging across farmland and residents attempting to douse flames with buckets of water.
