00:00Here's our tried and tested way to roast a turkey. Let it rest when it comes out of the
00:06oven. Half an hour to an hour is completely fine. Then take the legs off and you'll see
00:11they'll come away quite easily. Give them a little tug and you'll find the joint. Then
00:16take the breast away as well. Snip off the wings. You'll see there's a very easy joint
00:28where you can cut straight through the leg. This is our foolproof method. You don't waste
00:34as much meat and everybody gets served a lot faster than if you were carving at the table
00:38and far less mess. Of course, the carcass is great for soup. Then slice the breast meat.
00:46Cut the drumsticks in half and take as much meat off as you can. Again, the legs will be
00:54great popped in your carcass pot with the soup.
