A Turkish military C-130 cargo plane carrying 20 soldiers has crashed in eastern Georgia near the Azerbaijan border, sparking grief and urgent investigation efforts.
Footage shows the aircraft spiraling down trailing white smoke before impact.

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan expressed deep sorrow, calling the fallen crew “martyrs” and promising a full probe.
Azerbaijan’s President Ilham Aliyev and Georgia’s Foreign Minister Maka Botchorishvili offered condolences to Ankara as search teams work through the night in difficult mountain terrain.

Officials have not yet confirmed casualties, but all aboard were Turkish military personnel.
The crash comes shortly after Erdoğan’s visit to Baku for Azerbaijan’s Victory Day celebrations, raising questions about the flight’s mission and the cause of the sudden disaster.
