01:51all right as we go through this flight there are a couple of milestones here the first one
02:08will be max q that's when the dynamic pressures are the highest on the vehicle we go from 100
02:16percent power pull it back a little bit as we go through max q and then ramp her back up to 100
02:22percent max g should be in about 10 seconds
02:52max q has been confirmed again thank you everybody for joining us for new shepherds 25th mission to
02:59space so far a nominal flight we have gone through max q 100 000 feet and the vehicle will continue
03:08to climb under full power of the be3 engine the next milestone will be main engine cutoff
03:18you will know when that happens when you see the glow of the engine at the base of the rocket go dim
03:25there we go main engine cutoff confirmed
03:38now with the main engine cut off with the be3 you excuse me the be3 engine turned off the vehicle
03:53continues to climb up towards its apogee but as you will see on the left side the speedometer will
03:59come down and once that speedometer hits zero that's when you know exactly that the vehicle
04:04has hit uh apogee its highest altitude in uh in the flight of the vehicle
04:11now i understand that separation of the capsule from the booster has been confirmed
04:19now i'm gonna do all right let's do this all right over first let's over first
04:28okay oh my god oh my god oh my god wow look at the earth look at the earth oh man oh my god
04:43This is like insane. Okay, I got a few things to do. All right, first for you. Cam appears.
04:59Dude, look at the arm. Just look outside. Thank God. Man is happy about the India with pride.
05:08All right, you see the, excuse me, the booster that is headed down. You see the drag fins,
05:35the drag brakes that have just deployed. Those cut the speed of the booster in half. Also at the top of
05:42the rocket there, you see the forward fins. They kind of look like pie slices, one on each quadrant.
05:50That helps keep the vehicle stable. And there we go. BE-3 engine relight.
05:54Landing gear deployed.
06:0250 feet, 8 feet per second. Touchdown. Auto 7 started.
06:12And touchdown. Welcome home, New Shepard.
06:17What a beautiful flight to space and back for that booster.
06:27But the show is not over. The crew capsule has deployed its guide parachutes and its mains.
06:35Everything looking nominal on today's flight.
06:44Looks like we do have two parachutes that have full inflation. The third is not quite fully
06:51inflated. But actually, Jackie, this is part of the design.
06:58One of the, in fact, we were talking about my webcast. The first webcast that we did, we actually,
07:04we tested a shootout. There are multiple redundant factors in this system. And so landing with two
07:14parachutes is perfectly OK for this system. You'll also see the dust takeout of the base of the capsule
07:23as she comes in to land. That is the air cushioning system. It's going to kick up a lot of that West
07:29Texas dust you just talked about. But also, there it is, touchdown of the crew capsule.
07:37A beautiful flight for our rocket, for our crew capsule, for our six new astronauts,
07:45Mason, Sylvain, Ken, Carol, Gopi, and Ed, you are officially astronauts. Welcome home, everybody.
