00:13were tipped off to their potential criminal undertaking.

00:28selling weapons on the black market.

00:31The firearms that aren't stolen from stores or homes routinely are trafficked over the

00:36US border.

00:37The Customs Border Patrol agents often have their hands full with the influx of these sort

00:42of shady transactions.

00:45On some occasions they're able to prevent the trade before it even starts.

00:50But sometimes things can get dicey regardless when weapons are involved.

00:55In Brownsville, Texas, a Border Patrol unit would receive word of suspicious activity near

01:01a boat ramp by a local highway.

01:04The agents went to survey the area.

01:07A group of men were seen suspiciously sitting idle in a black SUV.

01:13After monitoring the group briefly, a Border Patrol agent made his presence known and approached

01:17the parked car.

01:19One of the suspects exits the vehicle armed with a semi-automatic rifle.
