00:0911. Laxon resigned the chairmanship in October as the panel was investigating corruption in

00:14flood control projects. His colleagues raised concerns after some of them were tagged by

00:19witnesses in alleged corruption. Senate President Tito Soto says the public and even some senators

00:25have since been calling for Laxon's return to the panel. With him back at the helm,

00:29the committee is expected to resume its hearings on flood control corruption on Friday, November 14.
