00:14Trump said on social media that air traffic controllers who don't show up will be substantially docked, while those who didn't take any time off will be rewarded.

00:27The Federal Aviation Administration said between 20 percent to 40 percent of controllers were not showing up for work on any given day at major U.S. airports during the government shutdown.
00:39Airlines canceled 1,700 flights in the U.S. on Monday, and more than 3,400 were delayed, according to flight tracking website FlightAware.
00:48It was worse on Sunday, with close to 3,000 flights canceled and more than 11,000 delayed.
