00:00:00Oh, he is pissed right now.
00:00:09Yeah, he is.
00:00:10Keep your head on a swivel.
00:00:12Oh, yeah.
00:00:13We're leaving, bro.
00:00:14We're leaving.
00:00:15Chill pill.
00:00:16They killed more people than lions out here.
00:00:21Every step forward is a step closer.
00:00:24You know, we made the decision to move on to hopefully greener pastures,
00:00:27because if we post up camp here, he will come out at night,
00:00:31and that will be the end of our challenge.
00:00:32That won't just be the end of our challenge.
00:00:34That might be the end of our lives.
00:00:36But, you know, moving sucks.
00:00:38Oh, Jesus.
00:00:41Careful here.
00:00:43We have been walking for miles and hours in the sun.
00:00:49We're exhausted.
00:00:50We're all dehydrated.
00:00:51But we can't stop.
00:00:55We're getting close, guys.
00:00:56I feel it.
00:00:57Does it look like it's opening up up here?
00:01:00I see rocks.
00:01:02Oh, yeah.
00:01:02I see some sky up ahead.
00:01:05Seeing a water hole.
00:01:08There's a freaking boat.
00:01:10What?
00:01:10Who knows what the...
00:01:11That's just weird.
00:01:13And there's something standing.
00:01:16This is a big old cage.
00:01:18What is this thing used for?
00:01:19This is wild.
00:01:21The problem is we don't have a choice to go anywhere else.
00:01:23This is the top of the map, and that's scary.
00:01:26And I'm wondering whether that cage is worth keeping something in or keeping something out.
00:01:31What the heck went on here?
00:01:40Three weeks into the 35-day challenge.
00:01:42It is scorching out right now.
00:01:44A stifling heat wave swept across the land.
00:01:48Maybe we should stop and just take a big drink.
00:01:50Forcing the survivalists to rethink their strategies.
00:01:53We have to leave here eventually.
00:01:55Let's leave here when we're in the strongest position possible.
00:01:58All part of the way out.
00:02:00Escape this wasteland.
00:02:01Waz and Teal headed north on a multi-day trek.
00:02:05Look at this.
00:02:06Fresh water.
00:02:08What's up?
00:02:09Good to see you.
00:02:10Only to encounter Joe.
00:02:12Where are your people?
00:02:13I am my people.
00:02:15Alone in his barren camp for the last 17 days.
00:02:20Ah!
00:02:20Where they help secure the area's last remaining protein.
00:02:25Woo!
00:02:26There we go.
00:02:27Oh, man.
00:02:28Yay!
00:02:28First meal caught and shared together.
00:02:32Six terrapin out of Joe's pool of water is pretty enormous for him.
00:02:36But this whole area is just trashed.
00:02:41Wave made the decision we have to leave.
00:02:42We would love to have to come with us.
00:02:44We gotta go.
00:02:45I don't know about go yet.
00:02:47Oh, I like that washer.
00:03:10I'm out here at the ruins, as Joe calls it.
00:03:13It's like a hunting lodge that they have pretty much pillaged.
00:03:17But looking around here, I can see why people are not here anymore.
00:03:21There's nothing here.
00:03:22This whole desolation is just so engulfing.
00:03:27And even Joe's place, maybe even more so.
00:03:30We have a long way to go to escape this.
00:03:33And I think perhaps it's getting worse before it gets better.
00:03:36So that tree over there?
00:03:43Yeah.
00:03:43I can hear some buzzing around it, but I want to check out if there's some honey in there
00:03:47that we can get.
00:03:48That would be awesome.
00:03:49I think any survivor gets excited when they think of the idea of honey.
00:03:53And if we have meat dipped in honey, that's calories and pure joy.
00:03:58Joe, have you made your mind up whether you come with us or not?
00:04:00Man, I'm still tossing it around.
00:04:02This is the hardest place to ever have to survive.
00:04:05So they want to get out of here, I understand.
00:04:07But they haven't spent the time that I have to study it, to understand it.
00:04:11But they don't know the amount of time and energy and effort that I've put into this.
00:04:16There's still a chance, and I just need to take that chance.
00:04:19Now you can see, just there, there's some drippage coming out of the tree.
00:04:26Yeah.
00:04:27There's a chance, just like right inside that trunk, we've got some honey.
00:04:30There's a huge chance.
00:04:32Yeah.
00:04:32I mean, you can see it oozing out.
00:04:34So I think this is a...
00:04:35I think it's worth...
00:04:36It's totally worth it.
00:04:38Ready?
00:04:38Ready.
00:04:39Because there's no food around here, our jerky supplies are definitely diminishing.
00:04:45I think we can just maybe get a little bit of honey today and maybe just move on.
00:04:49If there's no animals here, there's nothing here for us.
00:04:50We're going to go to where the animals are.
00:04:52Looks like it's coming from here.
00:04:53I can't...
00:04:54Let me just...
00:04:58I'm not even 100% sure that it's not tree set.
00:05:06There's no sweetness to it.
00:05:08I think this mission is going to be unsuccessful, Joe.
00:05:11Yeah, once I realise it's not honey, I'm down off that table pretty quick and ready to go.
00:05:15But also in the back of my mind, I knew that that juice is not worth a squeeze.
00:05:19Just have a look at myself.
00:05:21I'm not willing to give up.
00:05:26I don't think it's sap.
00:05:27I think it's whatever nest that was, you know?
00:05:29Could have been tamats, could have been ants.
00:05:32Feel this back a little bit.
00:05:34You can see there's just like tons and tons of it.
00:05:37I really, really want this.
00:05:44Oh, this juicy goodness.
00:05:47Joe's in a different place for me.
00:05:48I don't know whether a little worm's crawled in his ear and started burying into his brain or what's going on.
00:05:53But he's had to scavenge every single calorie out here and it hasn't been a lot.
00:05:57Oh, f***.
00:06:01You good, buddy?
00:06:03You don't need your passing out up there.
00:06:04I'm not falling down from up here.
00:06:05I just need a f***ing minute.
00:06:07All right.
00:06:12Welcome back, Brie.
00:06:14One of the benefits of having done so many of the challenges is you can see different angles.
00:06:18I think he can only see the one angle, one perspective.
00:06:20He gets a goal in his mind and he's stubborn enough that he wants to achieve it.
00:06:22But if he's not getting enough calories in and he takes one wrong step, falls over, hurts himself, that could take him out.
00:06:28I think that might be it, buddy.
00:06:30I don't think there's any, uh, it doesn't look like there's any left.
00:06:33Yeah, let's take it back, make a cup of tea.
00:06:35All right.
00:06:35See if we can all share that.
00:06:39Wow.
00:06:43All right.
00:06:44I got this cup full of dirty sap.
00:06:47Let's just try and get as much of the dirt out of it as I can get it down to its sappy goodness.
00:06:53We got something.
00:06:54I don't know yet, but it might have some sugar in it, might have some calories in it.
00:06:58Can you make a tea?
00:07:00Mix it with some pine leaves or something?
00:07:02Yeah, and that'll be something today.
00:07:16That's just weird, man.
00:07:17But, um, as far as nighttime shelter, it's prime time.
00:07:21I don't want to stay in that cage.
00:07:23You know, that was a rough hike.
00:07:25I'm fatigued and, uh, maybe even a little, uh, dehydrated.
00:07:30None of this makes sense.
00:07:32No.
00:07:32Like, I can't, I can't put a backstory to this situation.
00:07:36All we know is that there is an abandoned boat in the middle of a waterhole next to a big cage.
00:07:44Is this greener pastures?
00:07:45Jesus Christ.
00:07:46Once home to a large wild game reserve, this area is scattered with abandoned hunting outposts and equipment.
00:07:56Cages like this were used to protect game animals from predators before they could be introduced into the wild.
00:08:02Do I feel, you know, kind of weird sleeping in a freaking cage?
00:08:07A little bit.
00:08:08But do I also want to get eaten by a lion?
00:08:10Not really.
00:08:11I'm perfectly fine with sleeping right here.
00:08:13All right, man.
00:08:14Whatever.
00:08:15Whatever you want.
00:08:15I'm sleeping in the cage with a fire.
00:08:17I'm just thinking of safety, so.
00:08:21It's a boma that's already made.
00:08:24Ugh.
00:08:27We just did this insane hike, and if we'd have to spend the next two hours hacking down acacia thorns,
00:08:35Yeah.
00:08:36It would kill us.
00:08:37Yeah, it would.
00:08:38It would kill us.
00:08:39We would be left unsafe.
00:08:42Yeah.
00:08:44My first thought was, you know, why in hell am I sleeping in that cage out here?
00:08:50But now I see the light in this dark situation I'm in,
00:08:55because I don't think I have the energy at this point to actually build a boma.
00:09:00What do you guys think?
00:09:01Yeah.
00:09:01Yeah.
00:09:02I'm kind of digging it now.
00:09:04We're cool.
00:09:05That takes care of tonight.
00:09:07Yeah.
00:09:07We got our sleeping stuff.
00:09:08We can make a fire in there.
00:09:10We'll get some firewood.
00:09:10We'll shut the door.
00:09:11We're good to go.
00:09:13I might try to get some food tonight, too.
00:09:16Okay.
00:09:17Yeah.
00:09:17What are you thinking?
00:09:18Fishing?
00:09:18Yeah.
00:09:19Get some lines out?
00:09:19Just find some bait and get some lines in the water and see what happens.
00:09:22Yeah, that's important.
00:09:34You got a good-sized beetle in there.
00:09:48I can see him moving right there.
00:09:49Come on, Stee.
00:09:51Come on, Wes.
00:09:53This thing's worthless.
00:09:55After weeks of fishing frustration...
00:09:57Screw that f***.
00:09:58...due to a territorial crocodile...
00:10:00F*** the croc.
00:10:01It's absolutely beating the s*** out of us.
00:10:03Wes and Stee's dam project finally led to a much-needed win.
00:10:09Oh!
00:10:09Oh!
00:10:10What do you got?
00:10:10Yes!
00:10:11What do you got?
00:10:11You are kidding me!
00:10:13Yes!
00:10:13After all this time, man...
00:10:14Oh, yeah.
00:10:15Yeah, that's right.
00:10:15F*** it.
00:10:16It is.
00:10:17I can't finish!
00:10:18Come on!
00:10:19I'm going to leave these lines out as passive lines.
00:10:24Maybe something will come along.
00:10:27Wes, look at everything we've tried.
00:10:30Look at the Wrigley 10 everywhere.
00:10:32We've tried everything.
00:10:33Yeah, we haven't put some effort in.
00:10:38You all right, buddy?
00:10:39I see his head right now.
00:10:44We are still battling the croc.
00:10:46And it's a risk every time we go down to the water.
00:10:49Because he knows where we fish, and he could be lurking anywhere.
00:10:53And so we're really battling hard to make sure that we're being as safe as possible,
00:10:59while still able to procure winds.
00:11:03Get across, get across, get across.
00:11:05Get across.
00:11:06It's not going to eat me.
00:11:10Let's hug the inside of the lake real quick.
00:11:12Take one more, just a little glance, see if there's anything possible moving or to eat.
00:11:24Mate, look at that.
00:11:27Mate, that means there's another croc in here.
00:11:30Oh, man.
00:11:31Oh, man.
00:11:36Good gosh.
00:11:37That'll take a chunk out of your ankle, lad.
00:11:39It changed the challenge up, because that means we've got two crocodiles competing for our food source.
00:11:44Me and Wes versus these two crocodiles, what's at stake is starvation.
00:11:48We're just not seeing anything, man, except for two crocs now.
00:11:51We finally get a fish, and now we have multiple crocs in our pond.
00:11:56It just, it makes me hesitant to get back in the water.
00:11:59I don't need to come up missing a leg or something.
00:12:02I'm not sure what we're going to do here.
00:12:04So the main thing to get done is to make sure that we have a fire and that we can boil water.
00:12:25The clock's ticking, and the sun's going down.
00:12:29There you go.
00:12:32Here's a nice burner.
00:12:34Nice.
00:12:36It's a load of termites on it, too.
00:12:38Sweet.
00:12:40Look at that.
00:12:44What have you found, Frank?
00:12:46It's a fish carcass.
00:12:48Catfish?
00:12:48Yeah.
00:12:49Awesome.
00:12:50Bait?
00:12:51Yeah.
00:12:52I can get the rest of the firewood if you want to get that bait in the water.
00:12:55Yeah.
00:12:56We'll divide and conquer here.
00:12:57It has been a really hard and long day.
00:13:02We've had a big hike.
00:13:03We've expended a lot of energy.
00:13:05So getting food on the table at this point in time is incredibly important.
00:13:12Hurry up and wait.
00:13:13Hurry up and wait.
00:13:14Have you started wrapping your mind around, if you do come with us, what are you going to bring?
00:13:31I'm making a mental inventory about what that would look like.
00:13:38That's just something I've got to work out still.
00:13:41A lot of things, right?
00:13:43If I stay, there will be trouble.
00:13:46The goal will be double.
00:13:48There's goals, but there's no resources to achieve the goals.
00:13:52And you can always bring your goals with you.
00:13:54They don't weigh anything.
00:13:55They don't.
00:13:56Regret is the weight I don't want to carry.
00:13:58Fair enough.
00:13:59You're boiling over.
00:14:01Bubbling over.
00:14:03Trying to strain this juice through a cloth here.
00:14:13Sorry.
00:14:14Blew it.
00:14:16Blew it.
00:14:16Sorry.
00:14:18That's what it is.
00:14:18As long as you don't come burn yourself.
00:14:20If I had a guess, we lost maybe 20 calories.
00:14:23As I'm watching Joe, I start to realize if Joe doesn't decide to come with us tomorrow,
00:14:28that's only going to end one way.
00:14:30He won't be able to make it out.
00:14:31He won't have the energy.
00:14:32He'll probably keel over and no one will be here to save him.
00:14:35But if he chooses to stay, he chooses to stay.
00:14:37He's a grown man.
00:14:38He goes to make his own calls.
00:14:40So it was interesting, but a neat process leading to failure, which is exactly my challenge.
00:14:45Does anyone want a scorpion out with me?
00:14:59No.
00:15:01I'll get a scorpion out with you.
00:15:03Tomorrow, we're going to hit the roads.
00:15:05We don't have any energy to waste, so we need to conserve, hydrate, and rest.
00:15:10Whoa!
00:15:19You all right?
00:15:20Katie, pass out.
00:15:21Medic!
00:15:22Pause!
00:15:25Medic!
00:15:25All right, so does anyone want a scorpion out with me?
00:15:42No.
00:15:43I'll get a scorpion out with you.
00:15:46Okay.
00:15:53Whoa!
00:15:53You all right?
00:15:54Katie, pass out.
00:15:55Medic!
00:15:56Hello.
00:15:57What?
00:15:58Hey, what?
00:15:59No, no, no, dude.
00:15:59You passed out.
00:16:00Okay, hold on.
00:16:01No, I'm fine.
00:16:02No, you didn't.
00:16:03Medic!
00:16:04What?
00:16:04Dude, you passed out and you passed your face.
00:16:06Oh, no, it's fine.
00:16:07It's just dirt.
00:16:07But I don't think I hit my head.
00:16:09I think I just hit my little eyebrow.
00:16:10You did hit your head.
00:16:11I just hit my eyebrow.
00:16:12That's part of your head.
00:16:13Okay.
00:16:14All right.
00:16:15All right.
00:16:16Okay.
00:16:17Just stay sitting down for a little bit.
00:16:18All right.
00:16:19Sit.
00:16:19Yeah, yeah.
00:16:19I'm fine.
00:16:20Sit.
00:16:20I'm fine.
00:16:20You're staying up too quick, man.
00:16:23That's what happens.
00:16:23Yeah, yeah.
00:16:24No, no, no, no, no.
00:16:27I'm just helping.
00:16:28No.
00:16:31Yeah, da, da, da.
00:16:39When I passed out, it hit me like that.
00:16:44I got up.
00:16:45I took a few steps.
00:16:46I leaned over.
00:16:47And that's the next thing I remember was Teal calling for the medic.
00:16:50How are you doing, buddy?
00:16:52How are you feeling?
00:16:53I feel fine.
00:16:54We've just been called out to assess Joe, who's experienced a syncope episode, which is an episode of fainting.
00:17:02Just going to check your blood pressure.
00:17:06Not seeing any spots or any blurry vision.
00:17:10No spots, no blurry vision.
00:17:11Any pain in him?
00:17:12Do you see these scratches on my arm?
00:17:15Very superficial.
00:17:16Any blood.
00:17:17Got a little bump here on the outbra.
00:17:20Maybe some abrasions.
00:17:22I don't know.
00:17:23Any headache?
00:17:23We suspect that he's going through a bout of heat exhaustion.
00:17:28He needs to stay hydrated as much as possible and keep out of the sun.
00:17:33All righty.
00:17:34But we will be monitoring him very closely for signs of concussion.
00:17:37But he is vitally stable and good to stay in the challenge.
00:17:41We have drinking water available?
00:17:43Right there.
00:17:43Have a sip and stay in the shade.
00:17:45Okay.
00:17:52For me?
00:17:54For tea.
00:17:57Thanks for caring about me, Teal.
00:17:59Yeah, yeah, yeah.
00:17:59I'm going to pick three pieces and each will have their choice.
00:18:11Joe, eat some jerky.
00:18:14Hopefully that helps your brain and body.
00:18:19Joe has recovered a good bit from that fall, but he's been at such a calorie deficit for so long.
00:18:26It's getting a bit scary.
00:18:27That came out of hell, yeah.
00:18:30It really did.
00:18:31I did not see stars.
00:18:32I did not need to breathe.
00:18:35It was like lightning.
00:18:38You know, if that happens while you guys are away, then I'm screwed.
00:18:43So, you know, it's a big reminder of what survival is.
00:18:46And sometimes it means relying on other people, you know, especially when getting this close to the end and we got nothing but fumes in the tank.
00:18:54We got each other at least.
00:18:55Yeah.
00:18:57It's like I want to leave this place behind me.
00:19:02Are you ready to go?
00:19:05I am ready to go.
00:19:06There is not a damn thing left here for me to find, discover, uncover, or thrive or survive off of.
00:19:14It is just a wasteland and it is time to leave it behind.
00:19:19Yeah.
00:19:20Just coming.
00:19:21Yeah.
00:19:22Yeah, this place wants to just see you alive, man.
00:19:25It just wants to open up and swallow you up, Paul.
00:19:28So, we're going to stay together as a group, push on and see what adventures await.
00:19:33All right.
00:19:35Pack your things.
00:19:36A bit of a rollercoaster of emotions, but we've achieved what we want to achieve in talking to Joe to come with us.
00:19:41And now it's time to leave.
00:19:42We're going to make sure he's got enough fluid in him.
00:19:44Eat a couple of extra bits of jerky.
00:19:46Just so we're physically ready for what's going to be probably a pretty tough journey.
00:19:50I've got to say, Teal, it was really nice to see your face when I woke up.
00:19:54Shut up.
00:19:55I'm serious.
00:20:06You know, buddy, as much as I love our shelter, I think we're going to have to move on.
00:20:12Yeah.
00:20:15We're just not catching enough to survive.
00:20:19Mate, I'm with you.
00:20:21We're competing against two crocs known for food.
00:20:25That's why it's so hard.
00:20:27Valley ate anything since we've been here.
00:20:30Yeah.
00:20:31So, we're in agreement on that, right?
00:20:33100%?
00:20:34Mate, I'm with you.
00:20:35We need to get out of cell block B.
00:20:36It's time to leave cell block B.
00:20:39Try to rest up, try to hydrate up, try to get one more good win.
00:20:45Yeah.
00:20:45And then we just set out.
00:20:47Yeah.
00:20:47All right, I'm solid on that plan.
00:20:50Same here.
00:20:52I'm thinking about making a few traps.
00:20:53Do you want to make traps with me?
00:20:54Yeah, I'm down with that.
00:20:56I'm very down with that.
00:20:58With multiple crocs in our pond, we just have to keep our nose to the grindstone.
00:21:03And so, Steve and I set to making a couple of deadfall traps.
00:21:06We're going to really concentrate on eating everything we possibly can.
00:21:10And we're going to see if we can catch some critters.
00:21:14All right, I'm going to search for a good rock.
00:21:16Roger that, mate.
00:21:17So, what I'm making today is a figure four deadfall.
00:21:22So, I'm going to have two cross sticks.
00:21:23So, I've got one notch already done.
00:21:25And they're going to rest on each other flimsy.
00:21:27I'm going to get my third stick.
00:21:29And the weight is going to lean on the front of that.
00:21:32And it's all balanced perfectly.
00:21:34That's it.
00:21:34A basic figure four deadfall trigger.
00:21:38The classic figure four deadfall trap combines a bait stick with two other notch sticks in the shape of a four.
00:21:44And held in place by the weight of a large stone.
00:21:49When an animal goes for the bait, it triggers the trap, releasing the stone that pins the animal.
00:21:59It's a nice one there.
00:22:02A nice flat one.
00:22:03Yes.
00:22:03It'd be real easy to be stable.
00:22:08When you're this deep into a challenge, every meal, every win is extremely important.
00:22:14All right, Steve.
00:22:18There we go, buddy.
00:22:21Perfect.
00:22:23Nice.
00:22:23Thanks.
00:22:27This is where I saw a bunch of squirrels.
00:22:31So, I'm going to choose this little area right here.
00:22:35Put my trap.
00:22:37We want to go through this challenge with energy.
00:22:40And the only way we're going to be able to do that is if we somehow score some dribs and drabs.
00:22:44The food.
00:22:46We're just going to have to see.
00:22:47We're just going to keep hitting it.
00:22:48Keep hitting it every day until something breaks.
00:22:51I've got some reconstituted rib meat from the Niala.
00:22:56It's really on a hair trigger.
00:22:59And the squirrels I saw in this area, if they decide they want some Niala meat,
00:23:05they're going to get a good thump on the head.
00:23:07What a day.
00:23:18What a day.
00:23:20How long did they?
00:23:21It's pretty close to the end of the day.
00:23:23And there's no telling what can come up tonight.
00:23:26We didn't have time to cut any acacia thorns.
00:23:30Something could totally grab us through these bars.
00:23:33If anything does come, I'm hoping it's just a hippo or an elephant.
00:23:37And even then, something that big can probably move this thing.
00:23:41Boom.
00:23:42So, tonight is going to be an adventure.
00:23:47What did you hear?
00:24:05Huh?
00:24:05What did you hear?
00:24:06Oh, just a big splash.
00:24:09I wish I was going to be there.
00:24:17Yeah.
00:24:19His mouth is sucking the top of the water right there.
00:24:23Put an arrow on that one.
00:24:26What do you think?
00:24:27I don't know about that.
00:24:29Zappertines.
00:24:30Things eat you at nighttime.
00:24:32I'm going to put an arrow on.
00:24:34Grab their shit.
00:24:35That'll make it quick.
00:24:41Be careful, hey?
00:24:42Yeah.
00:24:44You've got to pay attention.
00:24:46You've got to be careful.
00:24:47You've got to be smart.
00:25:05Holy ****.
00:25:15Oh, my God, you've got it.
00:25:17Yeah.
00:25:18He got it.
00:25:20It's a big one.
00:25:22Oh, my God.
00:25:23Hell yeah, Frank.
00:25:25Frank.
00:25:26Check it out.
00:25:28Holy.
00:25:28The second bullfish shepherd.
00:25:30And this is a good one, so it's on like freaking Donkey Kong.
00:25:34Hell yeah, buddy.
00:25:36Look at that.
00:25:37I stoned him right through the freaking spine.
00:25:41That's awesome, dude.
00:25:41That's a decent catfish, too.
00:25:43That's amazing.
00:25:44All right, so we've got to gut this quick.
00:25:47Yeah, we do.
00:25:47This is dangerous.
00:25:48Yeah.
00:25:49Yeah.
00:25:51Stephen, how stoked are you?
00:25:53I'm super stoked.
00:25:54Look at Frank's win, man.
00:25:56No.
00:26:04Absolutely epic, dude.
00:26:08Brand new location, first day.
00:26:10Frank comes in like freaking Robin Hood and just stones a catfish.
00:26:15I am just so absolutely very proud of him.
00:26:20This is all meat.
00:26:22All meat.
00:26:23Meat, skin.
00:26:25Ah.
00:26:26Oh, my God.
00:26:28That is delicious.
00:26:32Now, the thing is, this smell is going to bring animals towards us.
00:26:36Yeah.
00:26:36Night 22, and we are settled in.
00:26:46The three of us are lockstep now, and we'll be ready to go in the morning.
00:26:51This challenge for me has been nothing but struggle and the endurance of hardship.
00:26:58But with these two awesome people who came in, like, it made a change in how I'm seeing our ability to make it through this apocalyptic hellscape.
00:27:17And there could be just a better space down the road.
00:27:21So, this was the inciting incident I needed just to see a different perspective on what life can be out here.
00:27:47Hyena.
00:27:48Hyenas.
00:27:51We are literally the zoo attraction in the bush right now.
00:28:14Usually the animals are in the cages.
00:28:17We are actually in.
00:28:21A cage.
00:28:24And we are surrounded by the most fearsome predators in Africa.
00:28:35Crazy.
00:28:37Something's going to come close to our cage before the end of this.
00:28:40Yeah, I agree.
00:28:41Here in the f***.
00:28:42Do you have the map?
00:29:05Yes, ma'am.
00:29:06Moving day.
00:29:08We've got to get moving here pretty quick before the sun burns through these clouds and it gets even harder to do this.
00:29:13I feel stronger than ever with these two by my side.
00:29:16So, let's pack up, hit the road, and find our next destination, something new.
00:29:21All right, so we're here.
00:29:22All right, so we're here.
00:29:23Obviously, this is our end goal, but we want to break it up a little bit.
00:29:27I think the smartest option is we just go to the closest water source, and then we can just keep going, or we can just stay there the night, see what resources are available.
00:29:35Still 11 miles from their targeted destination, the new team of three will veer northwest in hopes of finding a suitable water hole to stay the night before continuing on.
00:29:48Their path will be marked by dense, thorny brush and rocky terrain, home to packs of aggressive hyenas and the venomous puff adder, whose expert camouflage results in more fatalities than any other snake species in Africa.
00:30:03I think we should be able to get this done, hopefully before the sun breaks through, but maybe not.
00:30:10All right, so as quick as we can, backpack's on, get our stuff packed and get out of here.
00:30:19Now we start to head out into the unknown.
00:30:22We don't know what we're walking into.
00:30:24We have to rely on all our best skills.
00:30:27As a group, we're going to test what we are as survivalists.
00:30:30Not only do we have to worry about all the predators through the areas that we have to trek, but we also have to worry about a dude with a wheelchair.
00:30:40Wheel-to-bees packed up.
00:30:41Real question.
00:30:42Do you need that wheelchair?
00:30:44Yep, for sure.
00:30:45You guys don't trust that it rolls?
00:30:48I want to bring the wheelchair so I can carry my water, my bow, my arrows, my cutting tools, and the fish basket.
00:30:54I may have to ditch all this stuff, depending on the terrain and where we're going.
00:30:59So it's a gamble, but I know it'll be useful in the end.
00:31:04I think Joe is determined to make his wheelchair make it through the journey.
00:31:08It's not my favorite survival item.
00:31:10I think wheelchairs don't really belong in the bushveld, especially since we could make our hike slower and longer.
00:31:18All right, guys, let's do this.
00:31:20Let's roll.
00:31:22I like what you did there.
00:31:26Well, it certainly was the shelter in hell.
00:31:31That does look so apocalyptic.
00:31:33Priority number one right now is to get our sleeping situation as safe as possible.
00:31:54We do live in a cage, but it is not secure.
00:31:58I mean, the holes are big enough for a lion to grab us, for a hyena to grab us.
00:32:02So I need to do a boundary of acacia thorns around the perimeter.
00:32:07That's going to keep us safe.
00:32:08There we go.
00:32:09I could definitely use some more acacias.
00:32:15I'm not thrilled about sleeping in a cage, but it is a dark, scary place out here.
00:32:21And last night, we heard hyenas.
00:32:24So we have no choice but to make it work.
00:32:28Yeah, buddy, that's a big boy.
00:32:32At the same time, I'm also going to work on some shading for the roof.
00:32:37I'm going to be cutting down a lot of green foliage.
00:32:42A lot of surface area up there.
00:32:45Stacking that up on top.
00:32:46Do you want any in particular first?
00:32:48If you want, you can just throw them over here.
00:32:50Then I can grab them.
00:32:51Oh, okay, cool.
00:32:53There you go.
00:32:53Boom.
00:32:53Perfect.
00:32:59At the Thunderbomb, we learned a valuable lesson by not having protection from the elements.
00:33:05Oh, this is wet.
00:33:07The roof would be nice right about now.
00:33:08I don't know whether I'd call it survival or just suffering.
00:33:19But look, it's a mistake we won't be making again in the future.
00:33:22All right, last one.
00:33:24Last one.
00:33:26Okay, I got it.
00:33:27Got it?
00:33:28Yep.
00:33:28How's it looking there?
00:33:32It looked pretty shady?
00:33:33Really good shady.
00:33:34Yeah.
00:33:34Good.
00:33:35How's the Acacia look from the inside?
00:33:37Good?
00:33:37This side looks awesome.
00:33:38This side still needs some work.
00:33:40Yeah, we're going to fill that up a little bit.
00:33:42That looks awesome.
00:33:42This is good.
00:33:43This is safe.
00:33:44This is actually comfortable in here.
00:33:46You did good.
00:33:47We did good.
00:33:48Good.
00:33:48Good.
00:33:48Woo.
00:33:48Oh, my gosh.
00:34:01The sun is something else right now.
00:34:04Yeah, no kidding.
00:34:06So, uh, this cloud cover did not last as long as I hoped.
00:34:10We're not making an amazing time, but we're kicking along as well as possible.
00:34:14These hikes we're pushing into an unknown space.
00:34:16And there's still predators around.
00:34:20The heat's coming down.
00:34:22We've also got a lot less energy in our bodies.
00:34:24We've got less water in our bodies.
00:34:25Every single small mistake can be magnified into a big mistake.
00:34:30Blas, where are you going?
00:34:31Did we go that way?
00:34:33Yeah, it was this way.
00:34:34Okay.
00:34:35Sorry.
00:34:36That just looks really clean to me.
00:34:37It does.
00:34:41I'm trying to pick the smoothest path possible.
00:34:46Oh, good one.
00:34:50Yeesh.
00:34:51Right in the foot.
00:34:53Ouch.
00:34:55Son of a bitch.
00:34:58I want to try and just move it with a sense of purpose here.
00:35:02Okay.
00:35:02I am struggling to get this wheelchair through, but every push that goes and every good wheel
00:35:09rotation, I'm grateful for the amount of material that I get to push forward.
00:35:16The water.
00:35:17You missed the wheels.
00:35:18You can't go backwards over it?
00:35:20Like a normal?
00:35:20Should have.
00:35:26You want help?
00:35:28Yeah, I'm good.
00:35:29We are out here to survive, and the clock matters.
00:35:35So, trying to find our footing and clearing the path so that Joe can move his wheelchair
00:35:40down it.
00:35:41This is a pretty enormous challenge.
00:35:43Well, I got to do a reset.
00:35:49Basket fell off.
00:35:51Why the the the did that happen?
00:35:54Oh, the rope broke.
00:35:55That's fine.
00:35:56I want to turn that wheelchair into a backpack.
00:35:58I will live in it.
00:35:59That's going to fall apart, too.
00:36:01I'm going to switch it out there.
00:36:02All right.
00:36:02It's so hot here, and I'm exhausted.
00:36:10Like, I'm not having fun.
00:36:13Because, truth be told, two people in a wheelchair don't go very fast.
00:36:18Looks like the bushes are thinning out up here a little bit.
00:36:21Oh, .
00:36:22What happened?
00:36:25What happened?
00:36:26We lost the wheel.
00:36:27Oh.
00:36:33Looks like the bushes are thinning out up here a little bit.
00:36:36Oh, .
00:36:37What happened?
00:36:40We lost the wheel.
00:36:41We've been going slow since he has a wheelchair.
00:36:44So, incredibly frustrating.
00:36:47This slipped out.
00:36:48The whole thing slipped out, so.
00:36:49I got some washers in my bag.
00:36:51You think they'd help?
00:36:52I don't have a bigger one, but I have one that'll bridge the gap between those two.
00:36:57All right.
00:36:57But we have to figure out a quick solution, because now we're running behind, and we need to get going.
00:37:04Does it rotate?
00:37:05It will.
00:37:06Teal came through with the perfect washer that she just had.
00:37:09She's been collecting washers this whole time.
00:37:11It's that kind of thing you only get with a group of survivalists and people that have an engineering mind.
00:37:17This is all she wrote.
00:37:18Okay.
00:37:19Good.
00:37:19We're back in biz.
00:37:20Thank you, Teal.
00:37:21Yep, you're welcome.
00:37:22Who would have known?
00:37:23Tend to do that.
00:37:28Just keep walking.
00:37:38Wow, that sun is hot.
00:37:40Yeah, it is hot again.
00:37:43It's kind of like your standard day in South Africa, right?
00:37:46Yeah.
00:37:48It's in my trap.
00:37:49You see it right there in front of you?
00:37:50Yeah, it's in it, yeah.
00:37:51Nothing on either one?
00:37:53Nah.
00:37:54Nothing in there.
00:37:58Nothing.
00:37:58I'm going to check the fish around.
00:38:01Sure.
00:38:02I'm going to eat some mupani leaves real quick.
00:38:05Yeah, I'm going to eat.
00:38:10My dead fall was empty this morning.
00:38:12You know, that's how it goes.
00:38:13But right now, I'm trying to add anything to my diet that I can.
00:38:20You know you're down to survival when you're eating mupani leaves.
00:38:23Because there's no joy in it.
00:38:25I know mupani leaves put some kind of calories in you, but damn, they're disgusting.
00:38:30If it wasn't for being in an absolute survival situation, I wouldn't even come near them.
00:38:34I think we're about out of food.
00:38:37To get out of here, we're going to have to hike.
00:38:40And it's a long way.
00:38:41And so we know not getting food is not helping our cause.
00:38:46Yeah.
00:38:47Race horses are drying up quick.
00:38:51It's hot now.
00:38:53Hot like wasabi.
00:38:55The croc there.
00:39:01We're risking ourselves every day getting in this pond with the crocodile.
00:39:05But we need calories.
00:39:06We're going to be struggling.
00:39:07We're going to have a big march to wherever we're going on the map.
00:39:11It's slowly moving.
00:39:12I can feel it.
00:39:13It's slowly moving my millimeter.
00:39:15Oh, there's bubbles.
00:39:19Lost my whole date.
00:39:21It is what it is.
00:39:23Just keep going, don't we?
00:39:25I'm getting thirsty, man.
00:39:36Yeah, me too.
00:39:37All right, we'll find some shade up here.
00:39:39We'll stop and have a break.
00:39:40I want to check the map.
00:39:41Yeah, so that big tree right there, the furthest one we can see.
00:39:52I think it's going to be right around there somewhere.
00:39:55There's a lot of big green trees there.
00:39:57That's a good sign.
00:39:57Yeah.
00:39:58You guys good to make this one last push?
00:40:01Now?
00:40:02Yep.
00:40:03Five more minutes and we're sitting down.
00:40:06I don't believe you.
00:40:07That's all right.
00:40:08Have I stayed you wrong before?
00:40:14We've been hiking for forever, it feels like.
00:40:18I'm about as exhausted as I get.
00:40:21Was is a legend.
00:40:23And his decision-making is sound.
00:40:25But it feels a lot like we are wandering aimlessly at this point in time.
00:40:35What is this?
00:40:40Guys, look at this.
00:40:41Look at this.
00:40:41Look at this.
00:40:42Wow.
00:40:43Someone has been using this.
00:40:44No kidding.
00:40:45There's a shelter.
00:40:46There's a shelter.
00:40:47Hello?
00:40:48Hello?
00:40:49Hello?
00:40:53Hello?
00:40:54Hello?
00:40:56Hey.
00:40:58Look at that.
00:40:59That is a water hole.
00:41:01And it's big.
00:41:03What more can you ask for?
00:41:07I wonder where this person is.
00:41:09Let me see the fire.
00:41:12It's been doused with water.
00:41:16It says the thunder bone.
00:41:19Oh, the thunder bone.
00:41:20That's pretty cool.
00:41:20That is way cool.
00:41:22It's a bit cool old car.
00:41:24Can you imagine moving all this?
00:41:26I think they got a little lucky here.
00:41:30Very nice.
00:41:31A little bee smoker.
00:41:34Maybe they found bees.
00:41:36I like that we have the protection from the predators already built in.
00:41:40Yeah.
00:41:41But if it rains.
00:41:43Yeah.
00:41:43It's not nice.
00:41:45All right.
00:41:46We'll keep going or we can just stay the night.
00:41:50I don't know.
00:41:53It's one night.
00:41:54Yeah.
00:41:55Well, I mean, we'll make it work.
00:41:56It's just one night.
00:42:01Whoever was here was quite comfortable.
00:42:03So it doesn't make sense they left.
00:42:06Other than, you know, the elements just got them.
00:42:13Or maybe, I suppose, the predators.
00:42:14They either tapped out or were pushed out by something here.
00:42:19It's kind of eerie.
00:42:21This is a nice, secure moment.
00:42:23This is a nice, secure moment.
00:42:24So what's pushed them out?
00:42:25Why have they left so early?
00:42:27Have they been pushed out by elephants, lions?
00:42:29What's going on?
00:42:30Are we at risk?
00:42:31You know, if they've left because they feel like they're at risk, are we at risk?
00:42:35What pushed them away?
00:42:36Well, most of the push-away stuff comes in the night, so we'll find out.
00:42:41All right.
00:43:09So it's the night, and we are currently staying in someone else's boma.
00:43:16This is going to be a really good boma to protect us from any animals on the outside.
00:43:22But there is zero protection from any rain that might happen, any wind that happens.
00:43:30We can put up with this because it's just one night.
00:43:33But we're just going to pack up and keep moving because that's what our plan is.
00:43:38And we're just staying here anymore.
00:43:42Talk to get to where we're going.
00:43:50Naked in a cage.
00:43:53This is sick.
00:43:54And I do that now.
00:43:56No fear.
00:43:57No fear.
00:44:01All right, go.
00:44:06Do you hear that?
00:44:08That's lions.
00:44:09Oh, my God, I see eyes.
00:44:24Look at that.
00:44:25Out there.
00:44:26Holy crap.
00:44:30These gaps right here are definitely big enough for us to be grabbed and pulled through.
00:44:42They won't pull us totally through, but they will rip off our limbs.
00:44:45They'll come closer.
00:44:52They're closer than the thing, actually.
00:44:54I don't know.
00:44:57I'll sleep with your head.
00:44:58At least work me away from the detail.
00:45:02Just to be safe.
00:45:05Oh, God.
00:45:07I'm terrified.
00:45:08How are you doing, Joe?
00:45:30Almost there?
00:45:31I am almost there, yeah.
00:45:33Let me wire in my water, throw on my cliver.
00:45:35Oh, we need to look at the map.
00:45:36Yeah, I got the map here.
00:45:38We're obviously right this one here.
00:45:42Yep.
00:45:43And with this weather, we can travel fast and we can travel long distances, so I'm thinking
00:45:47a straight shot north.
00:45:49It's just going to follow this ridgeline here.
00:45:51It's going to bring us in on this water.
00:45:53With favorable cloud cover, the team plans a straight-lined path to the northernmost water
00:45:59holes, just over seven miles away, leaving them eight miles from the edge of the wasteland.
00:46:04This bomber was fun for a night, but a night's enough for me.
00:46:10We're going to head on the road.
00:46:12Till, you all packed up, yeah?
00:46:14Yeah, I'm good to go.
00:46:15I got to grab a couple more things inside there.
00:46:17I'll be honest.
00:46:19I am exhausted.
00:46:21The journey yesterday was excruciating, and now we are covering more land than we've ever
00:46:26covered.
00:46:27It promises to be a long trek.
00:46:29I'm going to go.
00:46:30I just got to throw in some things on the top.
00:46:32You're not putting one of those cars on top or anything like that?
00:46:34I mean...
00:46:35Look how full of your figures.
00:46:36I know.
00:46:37Are you going to keep up with this?
00:46:38Maybe I'll take a car and put the wheelchair in the trunk.
00:46:40There we go.
00:46:41Yeah, I think that's a good idea.
00:46:42Yeah, I got to grab one more thing.
00:46:43I don't think there is one more thing inside.
00:46:45Joe has a mower here in the wheel of beast.
00:46:47Joe looks like he's got some extra stuff.
00:46:50I don't know how that's going to work over some rough terrain, but we're just going to
00:46:53have to play it by ear.
00:46:54Some of the stuff, the unique stuff I found in the Thunder Boma, there was a grease gun,
00:46:58a lot of wrenches.
00:47:00My mind's been trying to figure out what I could do with that, but we're getting to the
00:47:03end here, and the cart's already full, so it's time to move on.
00:47:07I'll always remember it being kind of probably the most unique Boma.
00:47:11Three out of five stars would change a lot of things.
00:47:13Let's get a move on.
00:47:26Bands for the day.
00:47:27So water, check the traps.
00:47:32Tomorrow's a big move.
00:47:34And now we're just counting down the hours.
00:47:36Like, we can't wait to get out of here.
00:47:38Where we're at, there are no resources.
00:47:40They are dried up, done, washed up, finished.
00:47:43And we can't stay here.
00:47:46We'll starve to death.
00:47:48So, tomorrow morning, we're moving on.
00:47:52I can see our deadfall traps from here.
00:47:54They're both up.
00:47:55Yeah.
00:47:56I'm seeing you.
00:47:58Check the lines.
00:48:00Let's go and do it.
00:48:01Yeah.
00:48:01Do you have any final words for the croc?
00:48:05Yeah.
00:48:05The croc.
00:48:06Couldn't eat properly because of him.
00:48:08Yeah.
00:48:10We're hoping at the next location we do catch something.
00:48:12I've been saying this from day one.
00:48:13I want to thrive.
00:48:14I don't want to just starve and lie in the shelter.
00:48:16And, to be honest, the whole challenge is in a mental game.
00:48:19It's a 35-day slog.
00:48:21I'm ready to give this place a wave.
00:48:23It's been all right.
00:48:24It's just been tough.
00:48:27Hmm.
00:48:29Same.
00:48:29I was just caught on the bottom.
00:48:32I'm going to turn over the log and see if there are any more.
00:48:36Big frogs.
00:48:37Yeah.
00:48:39So, we need one more wind to give us the energy to do the hike
00:48:43because we've got a bit of a distance to go.
00:48:45And, no doubt, we're going to be building another shelter,
00:48:48which is going to take a lot out of us as well.
00:48:52It's going to be a tough, tough day.
00:48:54Let's get baby frogs.
00:48:56Yeah.
00:49:01And we wait.
00:49:15Come here, dude.
00:49:17Come here.
00:49:17Yes.
00:49:18I've got a f***ed elephant.
00:49:20F*** yeah.
00:49:22Yes.
00:49:22All righty.
00:49:23All righty.
00:49:24We eat for another day.
00:49:25That's a win, baby.
00:49:26That's a win.
00:49:27Yes.
00:49:28We're going to get all the salt, the fats, the protein, the energy,
00:49:32and the calories, what we need for our move tomorrow.
00:49:36All right.
00:49:37We got some work processing, so we'll check in later.
00:49:40Thank God for this cloud cover, man.
00:49:58Let's keep pushing, guys.
00:50:00Can't be much further.
00:50:02All right.
00:50:03We're on the last little leg of this journey.
00:50:05We've been blessed by the clouds overhead.
00:50:09We followed the ridge line for a little bit.
00:50:10We're walking down here to the bottom.
00:50:12There's got to be water.
00:50:13But the terrain's got tough.
00:50:16It's hard for me to walk through.
00:50:17There's thorns everywhere.
00:50:19I can only imagine how hard it is for Joe.
00:50:24I'm going to have to help you down here, Joe.
00:50:27Oh, crap.
00:50:29Can you lift that?
00:50:30It's still attached.
00:50:31I'm going to help you.
00:50:32I'm going to lift it over.
00:50:36Yep.
00:50:36I'm not going to lie.
00:50:38I'm not moving very fast.
00:50:39Down.
00:50:39Go, go, go, go.
00:50:46One last push, guys.
00:50:48One last push.
00:50:54You seeing anything yet?
00:50:57Nothing yet.
00:50:58We've been hiking for forever, it feels like.
00:51:02I'm just putting my feet in each footstep that Wasp takes
00:51:06and hoping that one more step will get me closer.
00:51:08Yeah.
00:51:12Whew.
00:51:14Looks a little clearer up ahead, Joe.
00:51:17I'm excited to see what we've got here,
00:51:20but I have a feeling there's a lot of work to be done,
00:51:24and I'm afraid I'm going to get there exhausted.
00:51:28What is this over here, people?
00:51:30Oh, is that water?
00:51:31What is this over here?
00:51:33This is something Matt made down here.
00:51:35Go, go, go, go, go, go, go, go, go, go.
00:51:40Oh, my gosh.
00:51:41What is this?
00:51:43Another half-built shelter.
00:51:44I wonder if anybody's here.
00:51:47Hello?
00:51:48Hello?
00:51:48Oh, my God!
00:51:50What's up, buddy?
00:51:51Who's up, naked people?
00:51:54Woo!
00:51:55Hey!
00:51:57Yeah.
00:51:58Whoa.
00:51:59What's up?
00:52:00What's going on?
00:52:01Hello?
00:52:05Oh, my God!
00:52:21What's up, buddy?
00:52:22Who's up, naked people?
00:52:24Yeah!
00:52:25Hey!
00:52:26Shoot, we were wondering if we were the last ones left.
00:52:32That's because you didn't know I was here.
00:52:34See, it was.
00:52:35He's one of my best friends.
00:52:37We spent 60 days in the Amazon together,
00:52:39over 40 days in Africa together.
00:52:42We've wrestled anacondas.
00:52:43We've swam with piranhas.
00:52:44We've faced down hyenas and lions.
00:52:46What's up, baby?
00:52:48Hell, yeah!
00:52:51Obviously, I've spent a lot of time out here
00:52:53on these challenges with Stephen.
00:52:55And to know that he is still here in this hellscape,
00:52:59I'm not really surprised.
00:53:00We got here two days ago, man.
00:53:02We moved, like, maybe seven miles away.
00:53:04Where did you come from?
00:53:05We come from Thunderbone.
00:53:07Did you see it?
00:53:08I stayed there last night.
00:53:09Did you?
00:53:09Awesome!
00:53:10What can we help you carry?
00:53:12Can you give us something to carry?
00:53:13Yeah, you're nice.
00:53:13That's all right.
00:53:14You want to take the water and the walking stick?
00:53:16100%.
00:53:16I was wondering if there was another female left.
00:53:19Oh, me too.
00:53:20I know that I could have gone the rest of this challenge
00:53:23with just Joe and Woz.
00:53:24But at this point in time in the challenge,
00:53:27having a female around just kind of feels comfortable.
00:53:31I finally feel like the adventure begins now.
00:53:33Yeah.
00:53:34I love the fact that another female has walked into camp.
00:53:37And she's obviously a badass.
00:53:39And to see another woman out here surviving,
00:53:42I know what it's been like for me out here
00:53:44to see somebody else.
00:53:46That's epic.
00:53:46That's, uh, hey, look at you go.
00:53:51Yeah, well, joke.
00:53:52He kind of stumbled out of the brush looking like a hobo
00:53:55kicking down the street somewhere
00:53:57with his shopping cart full of goodies.
00:54:00Has this been a ride?
00:54:02Dude, 17 days solo.
00:54:04Yeah?
00:54:05Yeah.
00:54:0517 solo.
00:54:06Yeah.
00:54:07Huh?
00:54:08So, saw some Impala hooves in the food truck.
00:54:11Yeah.
00:54:12Yeah, I killed an Impala.
00:54:14That's great.
00:54:15I've been shooting catfish out of this water.
00:54:17Yeah.
00:54:18But, uh, I see more bows, more arrows,
00:54:22and I see a fish trap and a mosquito net,
00:54:25and, you know, all this stuff could be useful.
00:54:28You're almost there, buddy.
00:54:30Is this anybody's reserve parking spot?
00:54:33Anywhere you want.
00:54:34All right, cool.
00:54:34Boop, boop.
00:54:35Well, welcome to the Rage Cage.
00:54:39So, you got here a couple days ago?
00:54:41We got here day before yesterday.
00:54:42I don't even know what to think.
00:54:45I'm seeing something that I've never seen before.
00:54:47I'm not prepared for it.
00:54:48There is a cage.
00:54:49So, we got all this up, most of this stuff up yesterday.
00:54:53Like, people in a cage in an environment as dangerous as Africa.
00:54:58What are we walking into?
00:54:59Let's get this organized, pick a side or a corner, wherever you guys want to sleep.
00:55:08A moment after realizing that we have a cage out here, I immediately clock in on the water,
00:55:13which means constant animal activity.
00:55:16A group of six humans could be very tempting for anybody in the area that hasn't eaten in a while.
00:55:22I honestly, I'm firing off back and forth in my mind on how we're going to make that a safe and protected shelter.
00:55:29It's going to get cozy in here.
00:55:31As long as everything's organized.
00:55:33Yeah, we can move that later.
00:55:35So, let's just get the fire sorted and then shift everything around it.
00:55:37There it is.
00:55:37What are you guys thinking?
00:55:39Fire in the middle, everybody around the perimeter, or leave the fire where it is,
00:55:41and we can just boom, boom, boom, boom, boom.
00:55:43I like the second idea.
00:55:46Just leave the fire where it is.
00:55:47Yeah, then we can go.
00:55:48Okay, you see it.
00:55:49Perfect.
00:55:49And whatever doesn't need to be in here can be out there.
00:55:53When groups come together in these extended day challenges, you got more hands on deck,
00:55:57you got more people that can take on responsibilities, but I've never met Joe before.
00:56:01I've never met Teal before.
00:56:02I don't know their personalities.
00:56:03I don't know their work ethic.
00:56:05And without us all working together till we escape this Africa, we are still surviving.
00:56:11We are still in danger 24-7.
00:56:14Where does everyone go?
00:56:16So, we've just been hanging out down the back end, so if you want to take the middle spots.
00:56:20Can I get the top bunk or what?
00:56:22You can have the top bunk.
00:56:24From being out here all by myself to having Woz and Teal come in to now we have more people
00:56:30that can share and work out hunt strategies, and so it's a total game changer mentally that
00:56:35I'm still kind of wrapping my head around.
00:56:38The next question is, what is this cage doing here?
00:56:41What are we protecting ourselves from that we need this from?
00:56:45Yeah.
00:56:45Well, we heard lions.
00:56:47We heard hyenas.
00:56:49It'll protect us from everything, you know, except like a big pissed off bull elephant.
00:56:56I guess we'll find out.
00:56:57Yeah.
00:56:57This cage is my worst nightmare.
00:57:11I can't believe it.
00:57:12Look at all that food we're going to have.
00:57:13I know, mate.
00:57:15Look at this.
00:57:16That is the terrapin on the grill.
00:57:19Yeah.
00:57:21How are you feeling, Wes?
00:57:22Like a million dollars, man.
00:57:24Yes.
00:57:24Great.
00:57:25Look at all that meat.
00:57:27All that meat.
00:57:29Me and Wes.
00:57:30And here we've got a big move tomorrow.
00:57:33It's going to take a lot of energy, a lot of calories.
00:57:36But this big fat terrapin, and it lifts up our spirits for our moves tomorrow.
00:57:43There's not like a ton of meat on it, but damn, it's delicious.
00:57:46I mean, it tastes like somebody put spices on it.
00:57:48It's unbelievable.
00:57:50Oh, I'm probably enjoying myself.
00:57:51Chewing on every single little bone.
00:57:54Every bit of it.
00:57:55Nothing goes to waste.
00:57:57This day was a really good win, man.
00:58:00Yeah, it was.
00:58:01Let's just reset the whole challenge.
00:58:02Yep, a really good win.
00:58:25We are sleeping in a cage.
00:58:29I don't even know how big it is.
00:58:30It's not big enough for six people, but there's six of us in here.
00:58:32It's pitch black.
00:58:35I can't see what's happening around us, but it's just going to be one of those nights.
00:58:39Oh, is that elephant?
00:58:45Oh, is that elephant?
00:58:59We can hear some incredibly angry elephants, wild lions and hyenas and lipids might not
00:59:24be able to fit through the gaps in these cages now.
00:59:27It's not the one thing that could piss off, it's an angry bullet often, so I'm not sure
00:59:34that anyone's going to get in my sleep.
00:59:37Oh my gosh.
00:59:39This is so crazy.
00:59:44Okay, I'm freaking out.
00:59:57We are here in the new rage cage, Boma.
01:00:12This morning we woke up and already were thinking shelter adjustments.
01:00:18It is a tight little cage in there and I'll be honest, it was a long night and I didn't get a lot of sleep.
01:00:25How did everyone do last night?
01:00:26Like I know we were pretty packed in here but...
01:00:28It was bad.
01:00:29Horrible.
01:00:30We were like sardines.
01:00:32And then on top of that...
01:00:34We heard last night lots of elephants, angry elephants.
01:00:39So this little waterway here that we're on is a super active little spot and there's a lot bigger threats here than previous camps.
01:00:49I've seen what elephants can do to trees and in my opinion if they can do that to trees then they could probably stomp our little cage.
01:00:57So I think we need to make some changes.
01:01:00We got to figure out something.
01:01:14You ready for this, Wes?
01:01:15Yeah, it's time to bug out of this place.
01:01:18Game time.
01:01:21You know the only thing I'm gonna miss about this area really when we move is our shelter.
01:01:25Steve and I put blood, sweat and tears into making it as good as it is.
01:01:30And I know that we're not gonna have that when we show up at our new location.
01:01:35From their current camp, Wes and Steve will head northwest toward a collection of water holes five and a half miles away.
01:01:42Pushing through exposed stretches of burned out bushveld before heading into low hill country.
01:01:48Where black mambas slink through the thick grass and steep rocky outcroppings provide the perfect ambush conditions
01:01:54for leopards who can cover over 20 feet in one jump and take down prey three times their size.
01:02:01If they make it, they will remain eight miles from the edge of the wasteland,
01:02:05which must be crossed on day 35 in order to escape and reach the nearest outpost of civilization.
01:02:11Should we get all that kit together here and see what we want to take with us and what we don't?
01:02:16Yeah.
01:02:18Definitely the pickhead.
01:02:19Definitely the file.
01:02:20The wire cutters.
01:02:22Firestarter.
01:02:23Definitely taking that.
01:02:24Oh, absolutely.
01:02:25When we start talking about migrations, then you gotta start thinking about what you take with you.
01:02:30What you leave behind.
01:02:32What you can carry legitimately.
01:02:34The wire I would really like to keep.
01:02:37I'd like to make a harness.
01:02:39Yeah, that's a good wire as well.
01:02:40For the walk out of that.
01:02:43Thanks to eating the terrapin, it gives you a nice little boost.
01:02:46But we're getting ready to move miles.
01:02:49And as hard as this survival challenge has been, I'm really going to be struggling.
01:02:54I'm happy with what we're taking, mate.
01:02:56Yeah, I think it's a good selection of stuff.
01:02:59It's not too much.
01:03:00Me and Wes have been so proud and happy how bomb-proof our shelter is.
01:03:04We might not find these resources to build a roof again.
01:03:07We've got to start from scratch.
01:03:09That's going to burn a lot of calories.
01:03:14All right, boy.
01:03:15What do you say?
01:03:16Let's do it.
01:03:17All right, let's get it done.
01:03:18All right.
01:03:19By cell block B, innit?
01:03:20Cell block B.
01:03:21Out.
01:03:23I'm going too fast, Wes.
01:03:24Just let me know because I'll just go up in a zone.
01:03:27All right.
01:03:28I'll tell you if I'm lagging behind.
01:03:29You hope you're going to a spot that has more resources.
01:03:32But...
01:03:33Really?
01:03:34You might end up in a spot that's worse than where you came from.
01:03:37And unfortunately, you don't know the answer until you get to your new location.
01:03:43So I'm thinking, last night, since we were like sardines, how can we kind of modify this without man-made objects kind of extend our real estate a little bit?
01:04:03You know, getting a key amount of sleep out here is incredibly important when it comes to escaping, you know, this hell on earth.
01:04:10Is that wide enough?
01:04:11Yeah, I think that's good.
01:04:13I think that's good.
01:04:14But it's hard to cram six people in a tiny cage.
01:04:17You know, things I thought I'd never say in my life, but it's the truth.
01:04:22So we need to extend the rage cage.
01:04:25I figured we'd wrap a boma around it like a horseshoe with about four foot high, three foot wide of acacia thorn.
01:04:34I figured we could start to fire outside the cage, which is going to keep us safe from pretty much every wild animal.
01:04:41And being outside of the cage, you know, definitely risky.
01:04:48But in this situation, this is really the only option.
01:04:52And if a big wild animal comes, we can literally jungle gym it up the top of the cage.
01:04:58We have to beef it up.
01:05:00Yep.
01:05:01Lock off this entire area here to make a fortified wall.
01:05:05Metal fortress.
01:05:06Yep.
01:05:07We know this is a lot of hard work.
01:05:10Expanding calories.
01:05:12At the same point in time, this will just give us a little bit more room and availability for extra fires and everyone can be nice and close to a heating source.
01:05:20Nice.
01:05:21Well, we're going to go hunt and find a water source, hopefully with some tracks.
01:05:37Yesterday, we made it to our new area, but because of so many predators, there's no way any animals are coming down to the water source that we're camping at.
01:05:46So I'm going to head up what looks like a dry creek, see if there's another water source that's going to draw some animals in.
01:05:53Oh boy.
01:05:54Look at what we have here.
01:05:58Oh, that's a hippo.
01:06:02That's the most dangerous killer out here.
01:06:07Holy moly.
01:06:10Oh, there's three.
01:06:11Oh, man.
01:06:12It looks like there's a big male.
01:06:15This is his territory.
01:06:18It's going to be very territorial about it.
01:06:21I bet since it's so big, I can find a spot with some tracks.
01:06:27I just have to be very, very careful.
01:06:30Okay, seeing some action.
01:06:37Got some scat, some antelope dung.
01:06:40I think they're drinking from here and that's really promising.
01:06:45Well, I think up here on the top of the berm, this would be the place to set up.
01:06:51I can watch the hippos and then have a nice shot of the whole shorelines.
01:06:55All right, my hippo buddies, we're going to be hanging out a little bit.
01:07:00There's a big risk here having such a large, aggressive predator.
01:07:07But this is going to be the last big push before escape.
01:07:12So we need to get big wins.
01:07:14Yeah, nothing left to do now, but just sit the blind and keep hoping for the best out here.
01:07:25Blazing hot, dude. Blazing hot.
01:07:44So I really am trying to just keep a nice, slow pace so we don't break out in a sweat,
01:07:50lose any more water than we need to.
01:07:54Heat's here today, that's for sure.
01:07:56Not much cloud coverage.
01:07:57Maybe one wispy cloud every now and then.
01:07:59Other than that, it's direct sun beaming down on us.
01:08:03And we've got no choice but to push forward.
01:08:09And you know I don't like the sun.
01:08:10Oh, I know you don't.
01:08:11It's getting a lot harder to walk in this area, you know.
01:08:23A lot of high grasses.
01:08:25This is definitely snake territory.
01:08:32I'm just being real careful where I step, buddy.
01:08:34I totally get it, mate.
01:08:36Terrain so far is, uh, it is ever-changing.
01:08:39Big mountain.
01:08:41Rocky crop.
01:08:42Yeah, it's a big one.
01:08:45You can tell we're getting into some more hilly land.
01:08:48And we're going into uncharted territory now.
01:08:52So we want to stay to the left of it?
01:08:54Yeah, I think we keep walking up.
01:08:56Yeah.
01:08:57That is Leopard Central.
01:08:58Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.
01:09:01Ah, jeez.
01:09:03That's scary, that.
01:09:05Yeah.
01:09:06And you can't see them.
01:09:07They can jump out at you.
01:09:10Hey, there's a death scene right to your left, too.
01:09:14See that skull?
01:09:15Yeah.
01:09:17Jeez.
01:09:19Look at all these bones everywhere.
01:09:22Yeah, there's plenty here.
01:09:27Everything's dead.
01:09:30I think we've got to be really observing.
01:09:32Yeah, we'll just keep our eyes on a swivel.
01:09:36Must be real quiet.
01:09:39A little stealthy.
01:09:41I got a bad feeling.
01:09:44Hey.
01:09:46I see something straight ahead.
01:09:50Look at that.
01:09:52Whoa.
01:09:53There's some rubble in a building.
01:09:54It looks like a pretty big one.
01:09:55You want to go check it out?
01:09:56We'll see.
01:09:57Some sort of compounds.
01:09:58Look at me.
01:09:59It looks like a pretty big one.
01:10:00You want to go check it out?
01:10:01We'll see.
01:10:02Some sort of compounds.
01:10:03Look at me.
01:10:04It looks like some meat's being hung off here.
01:10:05Rotten carcass.
01:10:06I mean, what in the world?
01:10:07Come on, mate.
01:10:08Do you have a little look in here?
01:10:09loads of these hooks.
01:10:10Those are massive.
01:10:11I mean, what in the world?
01:10:12Come on, mate.
01:10:13Do you have a little look in here?
01:10:14loads of these hooks.
01:10:15Those are massive.
01:10:16Dude, this is an old processing station.
01:10:17Yeah.
01:10:18Yeah.
01:10:19Do you want to go check it out?
01:10:20We'll see.
01:10:21Some sort of compounds.
01:10:23Look at me.
01:10:24It looks like some meat's being hung off here.
01:10:28Rotten carcass.
01:10:29I mean, what in the world?
01:10:31Come on, mate.
01:10:32Do you have a little look in here?
01:10:33loads of these hooks.
01:10:34Those are massive.
01:10:35Dude, this is an old processing station.
01:10:36Yeah.
01:10:37It looks like a pretty big one.
01:10:38You want to go check it out?
01:10:39We'll see.
01:10:40Some sort of compounds.
01:10:41It looks like some meat's being hung off here.
01:10:43Yeah.
01:10:44Like a butcher shop, basically.
01:10:46Once part of a large hunting reserve,
01:10:48this compound was used as a supply outpost
01:10:51and processing station for large game animals.
01:10:54Should we have a little nose round?
01:10:56Yeah, I'm up for that.
01:10:58This place is creepy as hell.
01:11:01Just because you know that death was everywhere in there.
01:11:04There's an old outdoor barbecue area.
01:11:06Look at this little building here as well.
01:11:08Sheesh.
01:11:09Why do you think someone's left this place behind?
01:11:11Sheesh.
01:11:12I think it's a lack of water sources around here.
01:11:14Amazing.
01:11:15Yeah, lack of water,
01:11:16same reason they leave everything behind over here.
01:11:19Blinds and used to be malaria.
01:11:22Yeah.
01:11:23Door's blocked off.
01:11:25Let's see if we can get in in the window or something.
01:11:28What the f*** is that?
01:11:30What the f*** is that?
01:11:31What the f*** is that?
01:11:40Little tiny bat.
01:11:41Use him as bait.
01:11:42These little f*** give you rabies as well.
01:11:44Oh!
01:11:45Like that.
01:11:47Let him live another day.
01:11:49Getting out of here.
01:11:50I'm going to get haunted in there.
01:11:51Hey, the sun is hot.
01:11:52Yeah, so let's get out of here.
01:11:53There's some good materials.
01:11:54Oh, I wouldn't stay here.
01:11:55Unless we see a decent water source.
01:11:57Steve and I have walked all morning.
01:11:58We haven't found water yet.
01:11:59So even though we're exhausted already, we've got to keep pushing on.
01:12:04Wherever we set up our next shelter has got to be based on location and that location is
01:12:10low.
01:12:11So we're going to get out of here.
01:12:12I'm going to get out of here.
01:12:13I'm going to get haunted in there.
01:12:14Hey, the sun is hot.
01:12:15Yeah, so let's get out of here.
01:12:16All you can do is keep going.
01:12:17I'm afraid we still got a ways to go.
01:12:18Roger that.
01:12:46I'm feeling good today.
01:12:49It's, uh, it's coming today.
01:12:52I don't know.
01:12:53There's something about the air.
01:12:55It just feels right.
01:13:13Damn!
01:13:16Just seeing an animal come to the water and then, you know, I didn't get him and he ran
01:13:29off.
01:13:30All right.
01:13:31So I'm going to get out of here before I got to walk in the dead of the heat.
01:13:37It's good to try a new water hole, but, um, you know, I'm trying to hunt so that we can
01:13:42have a bunch of food because that would help everybody out.
01:13:45But I'm walking out empty handed.
01:13:57Ready?
01:13:58Yep.
01:13:59Where do you want it?
01:14:00Let's see that back end.
01:14:01Yep.
01:14:02Yeah.
01:14:03We'll get one more over there.
01:14:04Gotcha.
01:14:05There we go.
01:14:06Yeah.
01:14:07That's perfect.
01:14:08Boom.
01:14:09Nice.
01:14:10That should be good enough.
01:14:11Definitely adds to the rage cage.
01:14:13We, we got a good start.
01:14:15We can improve on it, but, uh, I'm very glad that we expanded probably two or three of us
01:14:22outside.
01:14:23You know, me and Woz are going to be out there and that should be more than enough room for
01:14:28everybody.
01:14:29All right.
01:14:30Take a little break.
01:14:31Chill out for a bit.
01:14:32Hydrate.
01:14:33A little bit of shade because it is scorching out right now.
01:14:38Uh.
01:14:39Ever since arriving here at the rage cage, I've been wondering about this old boat.
01:14:47It doesn't look like it's a running boat, but I feel like underneath it might be serving
01:14:51as a nesting spot for catfish.
01:14:54So I'm going to go check it out.
01:14:59Catfish build nests in shady underwater hollows, such as rotted logs or even discarded debris,
01:15:06lining the hollow with mud and vegetation.
01:15:09After the female lays her eggs, the male remains to fiercely protect the eggs until they
01:15:15hatch.
01:15:16This is crazy.
01:15:19It's a little nice over here.
01:15:22Yeah.
01:15:23Yeah.
01:15:24Yeah.
01:15:25Right there.
01:15:26There's like a little hole there that they like to lay in.
01:15:31Might find a nest under there.
01:15:34Yeah.
01:15:35That is right in the heat and sun.
01:15:40There's only one spot on the back right of the boat where there is some sort of a catfish
01:15:46nest.
01:15:47And it gave me the idea of standing above it and seeing what kind of activity I would
01:15:51see.
01:15:52Part of being in a team is everybody needs to be doing as much as they can in every direction
01:15:58that they feel like they can.
01:16:00Now I'm just going to wait and see what comes in.
01:16:07Oh, there he is.
01:16:08I see him.
01:16:09Joe's on his way back.
01:16:10What's happening, buddy?
01:16:11Just the water hole up the way.
01:16:12That pod of three hippos in there bobbing up and down the whole time.
01:16:18Guinea fowl came.
01:16:19Just missed by a little bit.
01:16:21Uh-huh.
01:16:22Nothing else.
01:16:23Sorry, no action or luck or do a sign, buddy.
01:16:24I can see the disappointment in you.
01:16:25It'll change.
01:16:26Took me eight days to make something happen, you know?
01:16:27Yeah.
01:16:28It'd be really nice to be the food provider for the group.
01:16:29I just have to keep pushing and wait for my chance to get one shot.
01:16:30That's all I will do.
01:16:31There's no chance to get one shot.
01:16:32You know?
01:16:33No, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no.
01:16:50nice to be the food provider for the group.
01:16:53Just have to keep pushing and wait for my chance
01:16:57to get one shot.
01:16:58That's all I want.
01:17:04I kind of feel like she's going to get sunburned.
01:17:09It's not a spot to work in that heat.
01:17:11Oh, .
01:17:12You ready to go?
01:17:13You ready to go?
01:17:15Damn.
01:17:17Is she just sinking them?
01:17:19Should you give them a proper burial?
01:17:22I think you have to be already drawn and waiting.
01:17:24You can't see the fish and then draw.
01:17:26You've got to be drawn and waiting.
01:17:29After standing there for a few minutes,
01:17:30I realized that there were telltale signs of fish
01:17:32moving beneath the water.
01:17:34There were different kind of bubbles
01:17:35when the fish would move through.
01:17:37Come on.
01:17:40Come on, come on, come on.
01:17:44There's no chance.
01:17:45Create your things to happen.
01:17:47Watch telltale take a few shots now.
01:17:50I know she's a good shot, but difficult to see them
01:17:53in the water.
01:17:55Okay.
01:17:56I see him.
01:17:57Yes, I see him.
01:17:58I see him.
01:17:58Oh, telltale, here's you guys.
01:18:03Woo!
01:18:06Do you want to look at the last one?
01:18:07Yeah.
01:18:09There's a window here.
01:18:09I'm just going to look through the window.
01:18:11Oh, I do not like this one.
01:18:15I'm in now and have a look.
01:18:19Somebody was doing some religious type stuff in this room.
01:18:24What's dodgy in there?
01:18:27Kind of nice, but kind of creepy all at the same time.
01:18:31Look at the candles.
01:18:32The candles would be brilliant.
01:18:34I don't know if we can take it, can we?
01:18:36It's not like they're going to be missing it.
01:18:38We bring the items back when we've done with them.
01:18:41Okay.
01:18:42In this apocalyptic scene that we're walking through,
01:18:45there's just some bad juju going on.
01:18:48Getting out of here.
01:18:50Thank you, Lord.
01:18:57Gave me the creeps.
01:19:04Okay.
01:19:05I see him.
01:19:06I see him.
01:19:07I see him.
01:19:08I see him.
01:19:09Oh, telltale, here's you guys.
01:19:12Woo!
01:19:13That's what I'm talking about.
01:19:15Yeah!
01:19:16Yeah, telltale!
01:19:17Woo!
01:19:19It was truly a complete shot in the dark,
01:19:23because I was aiming into black mud,
01:19:25but ran my hand down the shaft of the arrow
01:19:27and found that I had nailed that catfish almost dead center.
01:19:32Yeah!
01:19:35What a boss.
01:19:37Oh, it's a perfect room.
01:19:39I love that.
01:19:41That's awesome.
01:19:44You are an absolute superstar.
01:19:47Oh!
01:19:47Oh!
01:19:48Whee!
01:19:49Get out of the water!
01:19:50I'm really proud of Teal.
01:19:54Hats off to her.
01:19:55There haven't been many females on Naked Afraid
01:19:57that have killed with a bow and arrow.
01:19:59Good job, girlfriend.
01:20:00Way to go, Teal!
01:20:01Yeah, Teal.
01:20:03Well done.
01:20:04Oh, it's going to be hard walking through this.
01:20:16Yeah.
01:20:17Oh, it's the sharp stuff in here, man.
01:20:19Wow.
01:20:20You feel all them thorns?
01:20:22Yep.
01:20:23Been going for a while now.
01:20:25Tell you what, man.
01:20:26I'm seeing a lot of reeds in the creek bed now.
01:20:29It's like maybe we're getting closer to water.
01:20:31Yeah.
01:20:32Our pot is getting empty.
01:20:34What the f**k?
01:20:39Hooray!
01:20:40People keep showing up at her doorstep.
01:20:44What's going on?
01:20:45Oh!
01:20:46Oh!
01:20:47Yeah!
01:20:48Pleased to meet you.
01:20:49I'm Joe.
01:20:50Steve.
01:20:51Look at him, Wes.
01:20:52Out of my peripherals, I see.
01:20:54It's Wes coming up over the hill.
01:20:56Beautiful sight to see.
01:20:57We expanded the shelter out this morning
01:20:59to accommodate just the six of us, so the six of us have fit.
01:21:02Now we're at eight, so it's almost like we're back to square one.
01:21:06Hi, Steve.
01:21:07Nice to meet you.
01:21:08Nice meeting you.
01:21:09Good.
01:21:10How are you?
01:21:11I'm Woz.
01:21:12Nice to meet you, bud.
01:21:13Nice to meet you, mate.
01:21:14Wes.
01:21:15What's up, Steve?
01:21:16How are you doing, bud?
01:21:17Good to see you.
01:21:18Nice to see you, too.
01:21:19I'm so proud of you.
01:21:21I see the big old Woz.
01:21:22I see Steven.
01:21:24It's a super moment.
01:21:26Good to see those boys.
01:21:27Come on.
01:21:28Well, wait.
01:21:29Give you the shade.
01:21:30Do you want a hand with anything?
01:21:31Can we carry anything?
01:21:32Yeah, I'll take a hand with anything you feel like picking up.
01:21:34100%.
01:21:35You got no crocs in here?
01:21:36No crocs.
01:21:37We've been competing with a crocodile all the time.
01:21:39Not much swimming for us.
01:21:41Go on in.
01:21:42Find a spot.
01:21:43Is it in a cage?
01:21:44Are you going to be able to fit it all in?
01:21:46That's why the boma's now a thing, because there was too much in there.
01:21:50It's a bit surreal, to be honest.
01:21:51I never thought in a million years that I'll be sleeping in a cage in the middle of Africa.
01:21:56We want to make sure you have the space you want, Steve, so...
01:21:59Yeah.
01:22:00It's awesome that this many people have survived such a harsh environment.
01:22:04But we have a lot of people here now.
01:22:06That's eight mouths to feed, that's eight hungry stomachs, and a week left.
01:22:09Everyone is as comfortable as they can possibly be.
01:22:11Those are the rules.
01:22:12Those are the rules.
01:22:13Those are the rules.
01:22:14Where's that damn fish?
01:22:15Probably done.
01:22:16All right.
01:22:17Go over there, Rob.
01:22:18Cut.
01:22:19I'll cut you for a minute.
01:22:20That fish bites.
01:22:21Oh, my God.
01:22:22I really thought that we were the final six, and now we have a group of eight.
01:22:32And eight mouths to feed is a lot.
01:22:34And the fish I caught is just not enough food for all of us.
01:22:38Did everybody get a piece?
01:22:39No.
01:22:40Okay.
01:22:41If the sample's good, I'll take a full serving.
01:22:43We still have a week left, and bigger teams mean bigger challenges.
01:22:47And we know we have the biggest challenge yet to go with this escape.
01:22:52It's been tough out here.
01:22:53Yeah.
01:22:54Somebody who's been here three times.
01:22:55This is tough.
01:22:56Yeah.
01:22:57This hell on earth in Africa.
01:23:00Any number of things could go wrong.
01:23:02It's hard to have eight people and have all eight of them on the same page.
01:23:06This is one of the most brutal environments I've ever been in.
01:23:09This is savage.
01:23:10Everyone's pushed to their limits, and we still have a long way to go.
01:23:15There's no one coming to save us.
01:23:17We're on our own.
01:23:18We need to get out of this place.
01:23:22Hopefully there is a way to escape this hellish prison.
