La Bombonera buzzed with excitement on Sunday ahead of the Argentine Clasico between Boca Juniors and River Plate. Thousands of fans packed the stadium's surroundings, waving jerseys, lighting flares, and chanting, creating a charged atmosphere of emotion and passion.

Footage shows fans from both teams cheering for their clubs. Boca supporters, with blue flares and blue and gold flags, dominated the neighbourhood, while River's red and white also made their presence known, adding to the unforgettable scene of the Clasico.

"The Clasico… I don't know, it’s like your birthday. It’s a challenge. It’s giving your all - on the pitch, on the bench, even from the couch or bed if you’re sick. It’s pouring your soul into it. Boca is life," commented a Boca Juniors fan.

Boca Juniors secured a 2-0 victory, with goals from Exequiel Zeballos and Miguel Merentiel sealing the win.

"The players themselves changed their mentality because we were playing very badly, honestly, we were playing badly, we were playing badly, and well, they changed the mentality and well, you know, they’re at Boca and at Boca, winning is expected. Boca is everything," highlighted another Boca Juniors fan.

The win secured Hugo Ibarra's Boca Juniors a spot in the 2026 Copa Libertadores. River Plate struggled once again in the Superclasico, outplayed in every department by a dominant Boca side.
