00:00Back in the 80s, every summer seemed to zoom by, especially the last one before I
00:05went off to college. It was a whirlwind of change. First, my sister Erica was
00:09pregnant, so she and Jeff moved home because we're gonna need a lot of help.
00:13And my brother Barry got into medical school. But unlike most doctors, he
00:20decided the best prescription was to move back into his childhood bedroom and
00:23invite his buddies over to destroy our house on a daily basis. Even my
00:27grandfather Pop Pop decided to crash in our basement shortly after he burned
00:31down his own apartment by overcooking beans. I overcooked the beans. As for me, I was
00:36never more ready to escape to college. Barry! Yep, life moves fast. Sometimes too fast.
00:42Because that year, there was one change that made everything stop. Just a few
00:50months ago, out of nowhere, we lost my dad. We will always love you, dad. Always. And
01:02we'll find a way to continue on together. Because, after all, we're the Goldbergs.
