Djokovic 'couldn't be happier' with Athens victory

Novak Djokovic reflects on winning the Hellenic Championship and confirms he will miss the ATP Finals

00:02I really wanted to perform well for Greek people.

00:06I wanted to bring my best and I left the last drop of energy on that court.

00:12I hope that people recognize that and to win this title.

00:18So it does mean a lot to me, yes, absolutely and for many, many different reasons and hopefully

00:25it's not the last time I get to play in Greece officially.

00:29It hurts me because it's ATP Finals and I haven't played it last year because I finished

00:34the season early this year.

00:36I love to play indoors, I've always had a lot of success indoors and in Torino.

00:41And I think that the passionate fans there are amazing, so I'm really sorry, unfortunately.

00:48And the positive thing is that Musetti is in, so I guess he can take that as a positive

00:54from today.

00:56But there are some amazing players, they're all going to be there.

00:59I wish them the best tournament and hopefully I'll have another shot next year to play there.
