00:03got off to a slow start but he's

00:05beginning to round into four.

00:06Yeah he had three really

00:08horrible starts to start this

00:09season but his last two he's

00:11only given up a couple of runs

00:12and eleven innings pitch Lindor

00:14steps in versus Freed that's it

00:16in the air to right field.

00:18Ronald Acuna coming in looks up

00:20into that beautiful Atlanta sky

00:21and makes the catch and one down

00:23so Lindor flies to right and

00:25here comes Alonzo little looper

00:28into shallow center and that'll

00:29fall for a base set for Alonzo

00:31and Pete Alonzo was aboard with a

00:34one out single and that will

00:35bring up Dom Smith's chick swing

00:37believe he went he did strike

00:39three couldn't hold back on that

00:41slider first strike out of the

00:44there's Kevin Pillar that is hit

00:57absolutely fabulous so far he's

03:52to get Acuna and end the inning

03:53something is clearly bothering

03:57going to be coming out of this

03:58game as if the Mets needed

04:00another situation to deal with

04:02meanwhile Max Freed back to the

04:04mound for the Braves as we go to

04:05the fourth inning got him

04:06swinging strike three use the

04:12lunging and missing his VR

04:14strike three after the curveball

04:27as an easy fourth inning the new

04:38Marcello Zuna bats swing and a

04:40miss and Ozuna's down on

04:41strikes for the second out fully

04:43gets his first strike out of the

04:44day two up two down as all these

04:46will bat and all these goes down

04:48on strikes and Sean Reed Foley

04:50with a very effective inning

04:52coming on in surprise relief what

04:55is the best pitcher in baseball

04:56do when he's injured and he

04:58really has a lot of time on his

04:59hands well maybe he serves as a

05:01positioning coach for the first

05:03baseman on the other team this is

05:05fun to watch okay that's good

05:08spot for him it's gonna bond I

05:11want to bond that's great so

05:15that's great Max Freed is pitching

05:20like an ace again for the Braves

05:23his third straight terrific start

05:25to this point seven strikeouts two

05:27walks try three a change up eight

05:31strikeouts now for Freed matching

05:33his season high two out nobody on

05:35Kevin Pillar coming up it past the

05:37third baseman Riley and down the

05:38line and Pillar is gonna get an

05:40extra base hit out of this Jonathan

05:42Pillar will try and get him home

05:43with two out hit on the ground

05:44toward the hole past Riley grabbed

05:47by Swanson and they'll hold the

05:48runner a third and the men's have

05:50runners at the corners with two

05:52outs and Jose Peraza the hitter

05:54dangerous pitch and Peraza shoots

05:57it right at Acuna and the inning is

06:00over that strand a pair in the top

06:02of the sixth keeps this game

06:04scoreless Max Freed with six

06:06scoreless innings under his belt

06:07this will be only the seventh time

06:09in his career he's gone beyond

06:10six innings in a game it'll start

06:39come out of this game after facing

06:43now you see him sitting there

06:46close to where he was coming out

06:48anyways Jacob Webb is in Atlanta's

06:50team ERA from their bullpen is the

06:53sixth worst in the major leagues

06:55James McCann bats for Sean Reed

06:57Foley McCann lines it toward left

07:03third and scores McCann comes

07:05through and the Mets take a one

07:07nothing lead Dominic Smith is going

07:10intentional walk and now Kevin Pillar

07:12will have a chance with the bases

07:14loaded and two outs hit hit Pillar and

07:17it hit him in the head Pillar is down and

07:21actually hit Pillar right in the face

07:22his face is busted up he is bleeding on

07:26the field profusely you could see the

07:28blood rushing out of what seems to be

07:31the bridge of his nose this is an

07:33awful scene good to see him ever

07:35to get up and walk under his own

07:37power but that's a scary sight

07:40everybody in both dugouts is shaken

07:42by this they're doing some cleanup

07:44around home plate to get the blood

07:46soaked up I mean that was just a

07:49scary moment for everybody so a

07:51shaken Jacob Webb leaves the field

07:54after hitting Kevin Pillar in the

07:56face and down to second base goes

07:58Nito two men away and Janesh we

08:00Fargus looking for his first big

08:02league it will be the batter

08:04loops one shallow right that'll

08:05fall for a base hit Nito around

08:08third down to second base goes

08:10Fargus he's got his first big

08:12league hit in the Mets of a three

08:13nothing lead the Braves have had

08:15just one base runner through the

08:16first seven innings and that was a

08:18hit by Max Fried in the third one

08:20away at Austin Riley coming up in

08:22well a deep right center field this

08:25ball is blasted back to the wall

08:26and the Braves are on the board

08:28Austin Riley with a home run to

08:31right center field that's the Mets

08:32lead to three to one all that

08:34matters now is what Edwin Diaz can

08:36do here in this bottom of the

08:37ninth inning in search of a save

08:40and now the Braves are down to

08:41their final out Ozzie Albies will be

08:43the better and Albies is 0 for 5 with

08:46three strikeouts against Diaz and he

08:49lifts one down the left field side

08:50coming over is Dom Smith and the

08:52ball game is over just like that

08:54couple of fly ball outs and Diaz has

08:56the save and the Mets snap their

08:58three game losing streak
