A man who was reported missing and feared to have drowned in the croc-infested Sungai Kuala Tutoh, Baram in Miri on Wednesday (Nov 5), was found dead Friday (Nov 7) morning in a decomposed state.

A spokesman for the Sarawak Fire and Rescue Department's operations centre said the victim was found while being devoured by a crocodile.

00:13an Indian national identified as 21-year-old Prashant, worked as a ship crew member anchored
00:19near Kampung Kuala Tutto.
00:21The body was discovered about one kilometre from where Prashant was last seen.
00:26When the search team located the victim, a crocodile was seen biting his left arm, which
00:31was missing and believed to have been devoured.
00:34Authorities said the cause of death has yet to be determined, pending a post-mortem.
00:39The victim's body was handed over to the police before being sent to a hospital.
