00:00is a big red flag. Naturally, the suspicion is on Russia. But why would Moscow do something like
00:05this? And why isn't Europe calling them out? If it is indeed Russia, they have many reasons to do
00:12this. A, to spy on Europe. Just consider the sightings over the weekend. The drones were
00:18spotted over a crucial Belgian base, a base that hosts U.S. nuclear weapons. So maybe the idea is
00:25to probe European defences, to see how capable they are, and B, to test the limits of European
00:32resolve. We've seen multiple drone sightings in recent weeks, yet there is no military response,
00:37no effort to shoot down these drones. We asked Finland's president this week about this response
00:44on Monday. We asked him whether he would shoot down these drones. Listen to his response.
00:50There is already talk of some hybrid warfare, though, and drone sightings in this part of
00:56the world. And while Russia has not been named explicitly, hints have been dropped. Would
01:01you say that Russia is behind these incursions?
01:04Well, yes, some of them, but not all of them.
01:07The U.S. president suggests you should shoot them down if they enter NATO airspace. Would
01:12you shoot them down?
01:12Well, we have a very clear protocol on this. We just visited our Air Force headquarters. I
01:21mean, constant conversation, communication with our border guards. We know exactly what
01:26happens, when happens, and how to deal with things. And so far, we haven't been in a situation
01:31where there's been any need for a shoot down. And I presume we won't be there either.
01:36So Europe is noncommittal. As of now, they have no unanimous policy for these drones, which
01:41brings us to the second question. Why isn't Brussels calling out Russia? It could be because
01:46of the lack of evidence. Maybe there is no proof tying Russia to these drones, or maybe
01:50it's not Russia at all. Just think back to 2022. A crucial gas pipeline was blown up in
01:57Europe, the Nord Stream pipeline. It was blown up. Europe was quick to blame Russia for this
02:01attack. They accused Moscow of weaponizing energy. But guess what? It was not Russia that
02:08carried out that attack. It was a Ukrainian hit team. Reports say the operation was approved
02:13by Ukraine's President Zelensky himself. And the logic is quite simple. Ukraine wants more
02:19European support. They want Europe to feel like they're under Russian attack. So could these
02:24drones be a similar ploy? The fact is, we can't be sure. But keep an eye on Europe's response.
02:32Yes, they don't want to spread panic among the people. But how long can they ignore this threat?
02:38Eventually, Brussels will have to take a call. Will it display weakness by allowing these drones to
02:44fly? Or will it shoot them down? We'll be tracking things closely.
02:48Now let's talk about Nvidia. Last week, Nvidia crossed a big milestone. It became a $5 trillion
02:58company, the only company in the world to achieve this feat. This also makes it the world's most
03:04valuable company. And that should be reason to celebrate. Instead, Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang is
03:09sounding alarm bells. He says the United States could lose the AI race and that China is pulling
03:15ahead. Huang made the statement at an AI summit and there was no ambiguity in what he said. Let me
03:23quote, China is going to win the AI race. That was Jensen Huang's blunt message. But why does he think that
03:31China is winning? Why does he think the U.S. is falling behind? Well, he gave three reasons. High energy
03:37costs, heavy regulation and what he called rising cynicism in the West. The Nvidia
03:45boss highlighted how China is subsidizing energy and offering state support to chip makers. He said
03:51that for some chip makers in China or for chip makers in China in general, power is free. And he's not
03:57exaggerating. Look at this report. It talks about China's latest energy subsidies. Three local
04:04governments have slashed power bills. Guizu, Inner Mongolia and Gansu. They are giving incentives to large
04:12data centers. For them, electricity costs have been cut by up to 50 percent. But if you want this
04:19discount, there's also a condition. These companies must use Chinese chips in their facilities. Only then
04:27can they get this 50 percent discount on their electricity bill. The goal of the policy is quite
04:33clear. Make local technology cheaper and attractive, especially against Nvidia. And Chinese tech giants are
04:40already cashing in. We're talking about companies like ByteDance, Alibaba and Tencent. Their power bills
04:46have been slashed by half. Those using Nvidia's imported chips do not qualify for these discounts.
04:52The message, again, is simple. Use Chinese, not American. This push is part of a wider plan.
04:59Beijing wants to build an entire AI ecosystem at home. It is pouring money into all areas, research patents
05:06and infrastructure. In fact, China already has more patents than any other country in the world. In the
05:12AI space, almost 70, 70 percent of patents are held by Chinese players. In research, China accounts for
05:18more than 22 percent of AI citations. The U.S. stands at 13 percent. Jensen Huang says these numbers matter.
05:25China
