The inaugural Sleapy's Foundation Cricket Cup is set for Newcastle

The inaugural Sleapy's Foundation Cricket Cup is set to be contested between Waratah and University at Waratah Oval on November 8, 2025.

00:00The Sleepy's Foundation Cricket Cup. It's the first year it's being run this

00:05season against us and University Cricket Club. Raising money for a great

00:11charity got brought to us by actually my player sponsor, Joey. He brought it to

00:15our attention and yeah it's a great local community so we're looking forward

00:19to raising some money. So we've got our Clyde Street Lager, specially made for

00:25the day. Waratah Uni Sleepy's Foundation Day. Shout is our major sponsor and

00:30sponsor of the sevens day. So yeah they put this together for us and I think

00:34money from buying this can on Saturday will all go towards Sleepy's.

00:45Looking forward to Saturday when Waratah reached out saying they wanted to put

00:50together a day to support the Sleepy's Foundation. It was an absolute no-brainer

00:54for us. I know a lot of the great work that they do in the community helping

00:59out families in the time of need. So look for us it'll be a great day. Hopefully

01:05you can raise plenty of money. Obviously this year is our first year so don't

01:10really know what to expect but we know it will be something we can build off and

01:13a day that we can really be proud of on the cricketing calendar for everyone in

01:17Newcastle not just our two clubs.
