00:00Welcome to Forbes Talks Shop, the series dedicated to exploring the tools, products, and rituals that shape extraordinary lives.
00:09I'm Kim Piper, and in every episode we go deeper, uncovering the essentials and habits that drive the world's most inspiring performers.
00:16Joining me today is Paige DeSorbo, TV personality, podcast host, style expert, and entrepreneur.
00:23From her morning must-haves to the unexpected staples she carries daily, we'll discover what Paige uses to stay at the top of her game.
00:35Paige, thank you so much for joining us today. We're so excited to have you.
00:38Thank you for having me.
00:39Okay, I don't even know where to start because there's so much going on, but let's talk about the things you're most excited about right now that you have coming up.
00:46Most excited, I would have to say Daphne, because actually as of yesterday we were doing a whole meeting about our holiday campaign.
00:55We have fall coming out in a couple weeks, and I'm just, I'm very excited about winter pajamas.
01:02Because when I was younger, we had summer pajamas and we had winter pajamas, and I think somewhere along the way I lost that.
01:08And I need to bring it back, and so I'm very excited for our winter stuff coming up.
01:13Okay, tell me more about that. How did you start, Daphne? I know the inspiration, but tell our audience, too, what was behind it.
01:20When I was younger, I always saw myself at somewhere in the fashion space. I didn't know what it was going to be.
01:27And then once I was on reality TV, and everyone's like, she's so lazy, she loves the bed, I was just like, okay, I'm going to lean into it.
01:35How do I lean into it? And to be honest, I think from my own insecurities of, like, who's going to take me seriously if I pop out with, like, a ready-to-wear line, pajamas felt, like, in my soul what I was supposed to do.
01:50And I always tell this story that when I got my cat, Daphne, I had this, like, moment with her where I felt like she told me her name, okay?
02:00And, like, I had a list of names ready to, like, name her, and I felt like we had this moment where she was like, my name is Daphne.
02:07And I was like, okay. And so when it came time to naming my brand, I actually didn't even come up with Daphne.
02:14I hate to say it, but it was a man on my team, and he said, a straight man, and he said, hey, I have an idea, and I know this isn't common, but what do you think about Daphne?
02:24And I was like, it's perfect. And so I feel like it was all, like, cosmic.
02:29It was all meant to be. So Daphne was not even on the original Cat Named list.
02:32No, not even on the list. Had never, like, really thought about it before, other than, like, Daphne Reynolds from What a Girl Wants.
02:40Like, that is the only Daphne, other Daphne I know, and, like, Bridgerton Daphne.
02:45But, no, had never really heard it.
02:47Oh, my gosh. That's so funny. Okay, so tell me more about the pajamas that are about to launch, like, the winter ones. Give me all the deets.
02:52So we have fall coming out, which is pretty similar to our summer drop, but, like, fall colors.
02:59And then winter, I really wanted it to feel like, oh, I know I have to go to this holiday party that I really don't want to go to,
03:06so I'm just going to wear my pajamas so that when I come home I can get right in the bed.
03:11That is the vibe for winter.
03:13So I'm very excited. We're trying out new fabrics for the winter, so I'm excited for that, too.
03:18That's amazing. Love it.
03:20I love the concept of already dreading going to a holiday party, which we all do,
03:25and thinking about coming back and going to bed is, like, you're speaking my language.
03:28How many times are you, like, and I'm just going to go for an hour and then come right home.
03:32I want your outfit to feel like you're almost home.
03:36Like, you are ready to Irish by.
03:37You're about to be home.
03:38Like, bye. I love it.
03:40Okay, what else do you have going on? What else is exciting you?
03:42So we also, obviously, Giggly Squad is just, like, the love and light of my life.
03:47So fun.
03:48It's so funny that it's a business.
03:51Another thing you never probably expected, right?
03:53Like, that's funny that we have a paycheck from this.
03:56Because it truly is my therapy.
03:59Like, Hannah and I always say, like, wow, we're such hard workers.
04:03We've never taken a week off from Giggly Squad.
04:06But it's really because our therapists have taken weeks off and we can't.
04:11So, like, even our podcast company is, like, legally, we need you to take, like, two weeks off,
04:17maybe, like, Christmas.
04:18And I'm, like, that's our scariest time.
04:20We don't have to do Giggly Squad.
04:21So it really is just the best thing ever.
04:25I don't know how I'm, like, this blessed to work with my best friend every single week.
04:31It'd be a job when we're saying nonsense.
04:34I mean, there were a couple times where I had to go on the pod and tell the girls that I'm not a doctor
04:39and do not take medical advice from me.
04:42Some of my favorite episodes.
04:43I love it.
04:44And do you, like, plan those in advance or is it kind of just all on a whim?
04:49Does it depend?
04:50It depends.
04:51Me and Hannah do have, like, a shared note that if something happens to us during the week
04:55that we don't want to forget, like, we'll write it down.
04:58Yeah.
04:58And that has become, like, our own Mad Libs because, like, she'll write something on the list
05:03and I'll be, like, what could that possibly mean?
05:07You know, like, it'll just say something, like, outlandish.
05:10Like, something that, like, doesn't even go together.
05:12Like, Grandma Socks.
05:13And I'm, like, what is she going to say?
05:15You know, like, what happened to her on Tuesday that, like, this sparked an idea?
05:20So that, I think, is the most we have planned.
05:22But also we could sit down and I could have, like, seven things on the list that I want
05:26to bring up and we didn't get to any of them.
05:28So it really is just, like, a conversation between two friends.
05:31I love it.
05:32It's so entertaining.
05:33It's great.
05:34Congratulations.
05:39Okay, so you've got a lot going on right now, obviously.
05:41So let's get into routines.
05:43Yeah.
05:44Maybe not, like, the earliest riser in the world.
05:46Maybe you are.
05:47I don't know.
05:47You're a best Tommy.
05:48But walk me through your morning routine.
05:50What does it look like?
05:51Okay.
05:52So if I have to get up, like, on an early day, I like to get up, like, an hour before
05:58I actually have to start, like, moving and doing things.
06:02Because I think my number one thing is, like, a hot water with lemon.
06:06And that's free.
06:07You don't have to go out and buy.
06:08Well, you have to buy the lemons.
06:09But, like, a hot water with lemon, I feel like, is the cure to my whole morning.
06:15It flushes you right out.
06:18Okay.
06:18And then I'll do, like, my skin care.
06:21And then if I feel like walking on my walking pad, I'll take a little stroll on that.
06:26But I live so close to the park that, like, a morning walk is – has gotten more important
06:33to me.
06:34And I'm not saying, like, I've been doing this forever.
06:37I mean, like, as in, like, the past three months.
06:39That still counts.
06:40Like, a morning walk really has changed my day.
06:42And Elle Woods was right.
06:43Endorphins make you happy.
06:44And happy people don't shoot their husbands.
06:46So, I – like, I really – I really live by that.
06:50So, that's recently, like, my mornings.
06:52And what else do you use in terms of products in the morning?
06:54Like, what's the first thing you reach for in the morning besides your phone?
06:57That's what I reach for.
06:58So, I use a lot of face reality products.
07:01Like, their Mandelic Serum is an absolute must for me in the morning.
07:04And then I got sucked into Korean beauty.
07:08MediCube –
07:08Did you?
07:09Runs my whole life.
07:11The MediCube, like, thingy.
07:14Like, the ice thing?
07:15Whatever it's called?
07:15Whatever it's called.
07:16That, like, thing, you know, that does, like, the microcurrents.
07:20All of that stuff.
07:21That and the masks at night.
07:24And if I have, like, I know I have a really busy day the next day.
07:28And I don't do this every night because I – well, I'm lazy.
07:32Mouth taping really has, like, is a game changer.
07:36I can feel when I do it and when I don't.
07:39Really?
07:39Yeah.
07:40Do you feel like you're suffocating when you mouth tape?
07:42I don't because I also will go to sleep with one of those MediCube masks on.
07:48So, like, at 3 a.m., I am ripping it all off.
07:51But at least I got, like, a couple hours with it on, you know?
07:53Totally.
07:53A couple hours is better than nothing.
07:55Yep.
07:55And wearing my retainers at night.
07:57It's important for me.
07:58It's all important.
07:59Is there a brand of mouth tape that you're using?
08:01Are you using, like, the viral one that everyone uses?
08:03I've been using the Skinny Confidential.
08:05Whatever you can get on Amazon, I'm buying it on Amazon.
08:08Great.
08:09I love it.
08:09Yeah.
08:10And then in terms of – I mean, you're dressed to the nines every day.
08:13You always look great.
08:14But if there's, like, a particular event that you're going to – I guess it depends on what the event is.
08:18But what's your usual, like, style, vibe?
08:20What are you gravitating towards in terms of, like, style and outfits?
08:24So, I'm someone that I feel more comfortable being overdressed than underdressed.
08:30Like, I've walked into places and been, like, I'm underdressed.
08:34I'm leaving.
08:35Like, this is embarrassing.
08:36Or, like, if I walk in places I'm overdressed, I'm, like, she got up today.
08:40She went to work, you know?
08:42She showed up.
08:42So, I love, like, an outfit uniform.
08:46So, in the fall, I love a miniskirt with a knee-high boot and, like, a really good jacket.
08:51I really love capris.
08:54Or, like, I have been on the capri train since the moment I heard they were a trend, like, a year and a half ago.
09:00The girls were skeptical.
09:01Now look at them.
09:02I know.
09:02Now look at them.
09:03It's because they're the best pant ever.
09:07Don't get me started on a stirrup and a loafer.
09:09Like, adorable.
09:11So, I think those are, like, my three go-to right now for the fall.
09:15The capris, I still am terrified of.
09:18Why?
09:18Everyone's popped on board.
09:19I just, they're terrifying to me.
09:22Get a grip.
09:22Everyone looks great in them.
09:24I know.
09:24What are you talking about?
09:27I can't do it.
09:28Yes, you can.
09:29I can't do it.
09:30It's all about the length of them.
09:31Now, like, a right under the knee, it's not for me.
09:34It's not for me.
09:35My legs are not long enough.
09:36But, like, right above the ankle, she's actually a head bird.
09:41She's a ballerina.
09:43I feel inspired, but still terrified.
09:45Try them.
09:45Zara's got them all.
09:46Okay, fine.
09:48All right.
09:49You've set the tone for the day.
09:50You've done your little routine.
09:51You've done your morning walk.
09:51You're like, I'm feeling good.
09:53It's beautiful out.
09:54You're setting yourself up for a work day.
09:56Every work day for you probably looks different.
09:58But, like, how do you kind of get prepared for that and, like, roll into it?
10:02What does it look like?
10:03Well, if it's, like, a day of just calls, like, I need to have so many liquids behind my computer.
10:09You know, like, the limit does not exist on my liquids.
10:13Yeah, like, there's a Dunkin'.
10:14There's a Stanley.
10:15There's, like, an extra water.
10:17Maybe I didn't have my hot water with lemon.
10:18I've been really on, like, a green tea kick.
10:20So I have to have, like, a bunch of liquids.
10:23I'm going to be honest.
10:24I'm someone that does a no-camera off Zoom.
10:27Just because you sent a video link doesn't mean I'm accepting that it's a video link.
10:33I love that.
10:33So that, like, depends.
10:35And then truly I feel like that is why I was so set on pajamas and Daphne and it being, like,
10:42is it pajamas?
10:43Is it not?
10:44Because so many people work from home.
10:47Like, even if you are going into an office nine to five, you're only going in, what, two or three days?
10:52So there is a lot still.
10:54We're doing Zoom.
10:55We're on, like, FaceTime.
10:56We're doing meetings.
10:57So I wanted something that was, oh, you don't, you didn't know.
11:00I just, like, what came from my bedroom.
11:03You think that I've been sitting here at my desk and, like, I've been doing emails.
11:06And I wanted, like, some of our tops to reflect that.
11:09So I'm all about cheating the system.
11:12I love that.
11:13Yeah, find a loophole.
11:14Less is more.
11:15Yeah.
11:15Right?
11:16All right.
11:16So you, I don't know if you have one, but hopefully you do.
11:20What's one product that you cannot do your job without?
11:25Do my job without?
11:26Yes.
11:26A product.
11:27Yep.
11:28Oh, a product I can't do my job without.
11:34Hmm.
11:35I know.
11:36Like a skincare product?
11:37Sure.
11:38Or just, like.
11:39It could be anything besides your phone.
11:41Honestly, I'd probably say my Stanley, which sounds so millennial.
11:44And, like, I'm a mom that just, like, ran to Target to get her daughter all the colors.
11:47I hate that that's my answer, but that is my answer.
11:50If that's your answer, that's your truth.
11:51That is my truth.
11:52Like, I love drinking water.
11:54Great.
11:54I love it.
11:54As we all should.
11:55And I put, like, my UTI powder things in there to prevent.
11:59Love.
11:59And I'm a pillar of health.
12:01Pillar of health.
12:02I love it.
12:03All right.
12:03You travel a ton.
12:04Yeah.
12:04So walk me through what you are not leaving without when you're traveling and what's going
12:10in your luggage, what's going in your carry-on.
12:12Give me all the goods.
12:13Okay.
12:13My carry-on has become, like, a work of art because, like, I think since tour, I am, like,
12:19a professional packer.
12:20I can really nail it when it comes to going to the airport.
12:24I think one of my best purchases as of late for my carry-on is a portable charger, but it
12:32has all the cords.
12:35So if you hang around someone that has an old iPhone, you don't have to excommunicate them
12:40because this has their cord, then it has your cord, then it has a USB cord, all the cords
12:46in one.
12:47So you're not packing an extra cord.
12:49So that's really important to me.
12:50Also, I'm a big Listerine strip girl.
12:55Are you?
12:55Yeah.
12:56And people, like, don't really always have them.
12:58I'm a Listerine strip and spray girl.
13:01Because some, like, things that I do for work, I can't be chewing gum.
13:04Like, I couldn't walk in here and be, like, chewing gum.
13:06It's whatever.
13:08So I use that.
13:09And no one ever offers that.
13:10Like, and anytime someone's, like, want a Listerine strip, I'm like, you and I.
13:13You're, like, best friends.
13:14Yeah.
13:15And we get each other on a different level.
13:17I actually, I didn't know they even still made those.
13:18I used to love them, and now I'm kind of inspired to get them again.
13:20I get them on the Amazon, and you get a pack of five.
13:23And the Listerine spray.
13:24Yeah.
13:24I love it.
13:25Okay.
13:26All right.
13:27Let's move on to creativity.
13:28So creativity is a big part of your job, especially with Daphne.
13:31How do you get into that, like, creative mindset?
13:33And what does that look like?
13:34What inspires you?
13:35I think living in New York City in general is probably one of the biggest cheat codes.
13:41You can step out on the street and literally pass a 95-year-old woman and be, like, that's
13:48the coolest outfit I've ever seen.
13:50And it's, I really feel like New York City is probably the only place you can do that.
13:54Um, so I think living in New York the past 10 years, um, social media obviously is, takes
14:01over.
14:02I'm, again, I don't want to sound like a millennial, but I love Pinterest.
14:05I've loved Pinterest since I was in high school.
14:08But I would say my number one is New York City.
14:11Like, I can tell what are going to be trends that the girls are wearing in six months because
14:17the girls on the Lower East Side are already doing it.
14:19So stuff like that.
14:20Just, like, walking around.
14:22I've gotten a lot of inspo for Daphne from girls on the street.
14:27And, like, one of my favorite colors to use for Daphne is light and, like, baby blue.
14:33It matches Daphne's eyes.
14:34I feel like it's very cloud.
14:36It's very, it just gives pajamas.
14:38And I saw a girl walking down the street and she was wearing this, like, baby blue silk.
14:43It looked like a nightgown, but she was out, like, on the street.
14:45And it just, I was like, everything that my brand is, is that girl.
14:49So chic.
14:50Yeah, and I remember, like, taking a picture of her and, like, yeah, and having it.
14:54So I would say New York City.
14:56Great.
14:56Yeah.
14:57Are you a book girl?
14:59If it's how to giggle, then I sure am.
15:03I want to be a book person so bad.
15:06And I feel like coming, I feel like there is going to be a time where I'm like, and maybe
15:11I'll start a book.
15:12Yeah.
15:12But I'm not, I'm not as good as I should be.
15:16I mean, I'm horrible.
15:17I'm really bad.
15:18It's really.
15:19There's just not enough time in the day.
15:20There's not enough time in the day.
15:21Podcasts have, like, taken over.
15:23I know.
15:25So, no.
15:27Okay, cool.
15:27I like that answer.
15:28But I did read How to, yeah, I'm not going to lie to you.
15:30I'm not going to sit here and be like The Great Gatsby.
15:32I read it for the seventh time.
15:33That usually is my answer.
15:34I'm like, I just love rereading it.
15:36Oh, my God.
15:36Who at the time?
15:37I've read it since high school.
15:38Since high school.
15:39Well, you read it once.
15:40That's all that matters.
15:41Balance is so important for staying at the top of your game, for just life in general,
15:46right?
15:47Like, what's something that helps you recharge when you feel very stressed?
15:53Honestly, and I wish I could, like, give this advice to everyone, and I wish he could
15:57have, like, an open phone for people, but call my dad.
16:00He'll literally snap you right back into it.
16:04If you're ever feeling sorry for yourself, or you're down on yourself, or you're just,
16:08like, having a day, I really recommend calling my dad, because he will get you right back
16:13in the mindset of, like, what?
16:15Are you kidding?
16:17Cut it out.
16:18Like, he gives you this, like, tough love.
16:20So I feel like my parents keep me the most grounded, because there are so many different
16:26elements of my job that I could spiral.
16:29Like, one comment, and it's like, you may not see me for a week.
16:33Like, so I think my parents are what keep me the most, like, balanced, and if I ever
16:39need, like, a dose, I'll just, like, go home.
16:42I feel like it keeps me very grounded.
16:45My friends from home, and, like, my childhood friends, sometimes I'm like, you know what,
16:50how about some drama that's not on page six?
16:52Let me hear some hometown gossip.
16:55Right.
16:55Gossip, so pure.
16:56Something pure, something not life-ruining, you know?
16:59Like, who got fired?
17:01Yeah.
17:01Stuff like that.
17:02So I feel like that keeps me balanced, for sure.
17:04How do you, like, deal with all, like, if there are negative comments, how do you, I
17:08don't ever read any comments ever, because I just can't take it, and I'm not famous.
17:13So, like, how do you deal with it?
17:14It's, obviously, it's hard, and I would love to be like, I don't read them.
17:18And I do try and shield myself as much as possible, but, again, but, obviously, like,
17:23I'm a human, things slip through the cracks, or, like, sometimes there's a night where
17:26I'm just like, oh, really?
17:28Like, you know, like, you just, like, see a bunch of things.
17:31But I would say my high school best friend, I feel like, keeps me very grounded, and will
17:36almost make a joke of it.
17:39I remember there was something, like, a couple years ago, and I was, like, really stressed
17:43about it online.
17:44I was like, everyone's talking about it, and everybody hates me.
17:46And she called me, and she was like, if someone told us when we were in high school that you
17:51were going to be in, like, a love triangle, like, we would be like, shut up, that's so
17:55cool.
17:55She was like, so just, like, who cares?
17:57Like, no one's going to remember it in two weeks.
18:00And she was like, and I am the normal girl seeing it, and, like, I don't care.
18:04And, like, I'm not going to remember.
18:05And so she keeps me very grounded when I'm, like, could potentially spiral.
18:10That's great.
18:11Everyone needs that person in their life, right?
18:12Like, I love it.
18:14All right, so let's go into nighttime routine a little bit.
18:16So you gave a little glimpse into it.
18:18Obviously, you're wearing your Daphne pajamas, but walk us through how you kind of wind down
18:22for the day, and what your night looks like.
18:24Big hatch.
18:27Hatch restorer.
18:28Yeah, like, alarm clock person.
18:30I feel like that goes on at, like, 10 p.m., does, like, a little red light, and, like, I
18:35don't even know what I have it set to, like, jazz music or some, like, meditation.
18:39And that's when I'm, like, okay, let me do my skin care, do my skin care, brush my teeth,
18:44do a mask.
18:45I'm really loving the, um, what is the brand?
18:48I think it's Shark is the LED mask.
18:51Yeah, the mask.
18:52So I got that.
18:53I've been using that a lot.
18:55Do you feel like it makes a difference?
18:57After one time using it, am I, like, taking before and after photos?
19:02No.
19:03But I think, I feel like over time, doing, like, red light therapy, yes.
19:08Yeah.
19:08Like, and I don't, I haven't gotten Botox yet.
19:11So I feel like I try and do everything I can before, because I know I'll get addicted.
19:16I know I'm going to love it.
19:17I'm not, like, knocking it.
19:19I can't wait to do it.
19:19It's, I know I'm going to love it too much.
19:22Yeah, I hear you.
19:22It's, like, some people you can't send to Vegas, you can't send me to a doctor's office.
19:26So I already know myself.
19:28At least you know yourself well enough to know, like, we need a whole other next time.
19:32Yeah.
19:33Okay, so you do your red light therapy.
19:34Anything else in the evening?
19:35Are you, like, a bath girl?
19:36Are you?
19:37I'm not a huge bath girl, honestly, because I don't have one.
19:41You're sorry.
19:41I have a shower.
19:43I do have the best shower in America.
19:46I have the best apartment in America.
19:48So, like, I love enjoying my rent.
19:50I love being home.
19:52Um, and I think just, like, my kitty is, like, my wind down.
19:57I love it.
19:57Once she gets in the bed, it's actually time for bed.
20:00Because she has a few things she has to do before bed.
20:02But then, like, once she jumps up, I know it's, like, oh, we're really, we're going to sleep.
20:06What does she need to do before bed?
20:06She's got things, right?
20:08She's got things.
20:08I know.
20:09My cats do that, too.
20:10My cats, like, don't sleep through the night, though.
20:12So, at 3 a.m., they're, like.
20:14See, Daphne does, for the most part.
20:16I mean, there have obviously been a couple of times where I'm, like, do you work Chinese markets?
20:19Like, what's going on here?
20:21But for the most part, she's a good sleeper.
20:24Okay, good.
20:24Yeah.
20:25Um, now we're going to play a really fun game called This or That.
20:29Okay.
20:29And we'll have you do a few, like, rapid-fire answers.
20:36Okay.
20:36Some of these you already answered for me, but we're just going to go out there.
20:39Um, I already know the answer to this one.
20:41Sunrise, meditation, or evening journaling?
20:43Um, you know the answer, but, yeah, I was going to go, uh, do I give one specific one
20:50really hard?
20:51Um, I would, if I have to pick, I would say nighttime journaling.
20:54Okay.
20:55Infrared sauna or cold plunge?
20:57Infrared sauna.
20:58I heard cold plunge is only good for men, so I'm out.
21:00See ya.
21:01I actually only heard that yesterday.
21:02I'm like, I don't care then.
21:04I'm like, no wonder they were so obsessed with it, making all their wives get them for
21:08their backyard.
21:09I know.
21:09Exactly.
21:10It's, it's, oh, no.
21:11Um, naps or no naps?
21:13Naps.
21:14Sometimes I've, I've met a lot of people that are like, sorry, I'm just like not a nap
21:17person.
21:18Never met, like, I've never, I really just can't nap.
21:21I can't nap.
21:22I could sleep anywhere at any time.
21:23I've actually thought about being checked for narcolepsy.
21:26Like, I could go to sleep right here if you gave me a sweatshirt.
21:29This might be fun to just leave the video on her for a while.
21:32Yeah, I could absolutely do it.
21:34Um, espresso martini or natural wine?
21:37What is natural wine?
21:38Like, espresso martini or wine.
21:41Espresso martini, I would say.
21:42Natural wine is like the no, um.
21:44It doesn't matter.
21:45Espresso martini.
21:46Yeah.
21:46Um, a farmer's market or Michelin starred restaurant?
21:51You know, that's actually a really good one.
21:53And I know what you're expecting me to say.
21:55It's Michelin starred restaurant.
21:56But last time I went to one, I literally said, and I'll never go to a Michelin starred
22:01restaurant again.
22:02Sometimes it's too much.
22:04I know.
22:04I'm like, guys, it's too, it's too fancy.
22:08Like, it's too much.
22:08It takes a long time.
22:10It takes a long time.
22:12And I went to one in Italy and I was with Sierra, actually, Sierra Miller.
22:17And she said something and it scarred me and I couldn't eat the rest of the meal.
22:20She said, this smells like my cat's food.
22:22And I was like, and now I can't go on.
22:25So what was the first choice?
22:27Um, the first choice was farmer's market.
22:29Yeah, I think I'm going to go farmer's market.
22:31Certainly faster.
22:31We had a really good watermelon this summer.
22:33I don't know if anyone picked up on that.
22:35Watermelon was phenomenal this summer.
22:36Okay, there you go.
22:37That's what I need.
22:37So I think farmer's market.
22:38Um, notebook and pen or tablet and stylus?
22:45I think a notebook and pen.
22:46I love that.
22:47Yeah.
22:47The editor in me loves that.
22:49Um, phone-free bedroom or late night scrolling?
22:51Late night scrolling.
22:52I'm a human.
22:53Miu Miu or Prada?
22:55Prada.
22:56Ballet flats or kitten heels?
22:59I think a kitten heel.
23:01I agree.
23:02Voice notes or FaceTime calls?
23:04Oh, I'm going to say voice notes.
23:07Uh, Hamptons or Jersey Shore?
23:09I'm going to say the Jersey Shore.
23:10Would you like to expand upon why?
23:12Look, I just think that the Jersey Shore gives more beach than the Hamptons do.
23:17The Hamptons is so big.
23:19It takes so long to get there.
23:20You can literally be at the Jersey Shore in 45 minutes from anywhere in New York City.
23:24I also have an unpopular opinion that I think that New Jersey has better pizza than New York City.
23:29And I, hey, I'm not from either places, so I actually can say this.
23:32I'm unbiased.
23:33I'm from Albany.
23:34So, and my family used to own a pizzeria.
23:36So, I actually am qualified to make this assumption.
23:41Um, yeah.
23:42And so, I picked the Jersey Shore.
23:44Explain to me why you think the pizza is better in Jersey.
23:47I think that there is a higher concentration of Italian people living in one area in New Jersey
23:53than there is in New York City.
23:55So, you get a bunch of them together to put a dough together, it's game over.
24:00I mean, sorry.
24:02Okay.
24:03She has spoken, everyone.
24:05And that's how I feel.
24:05And I'm living my truth.
24:06You're living your truth, which is what we love about you.
24:08You're speaking my truth.
24:09I've never said this publicly, but I think the Jersey Shore is better than the Hamptons.
24:13Wow.
24:14Mic drop.
24:15Um, square or almond nails?
24:18Oh, I'm a square.
24:19Square.
24:20Eating ravioli in Italy or bed rotting at home?
24:22Eating ravioli in Italy.
24:24Netflix or Hulu?
24:27Okay, this is kind of crazy.
24:29Not really.
24:30Lately, Hulu.
24:31Really?
24:32I feel like Hulu has a lot.
24:34Well, Love Thy Nader.
24:35Hello?
24:36So upset.
24:37It's so good.
24:37Some of the best reality I've ever watched.
24:39And two, Hulu has a lot of shows that I like to watch on repeat.
24:44Like New Girl.
24:45Okay.
24:46Shoulder pads or swimsuits?
24:48Shoulder pads.
24:50Rom-coms or thrillers?
24:51Rom-coms.
24:52Who picks a thriller?
24:53I mean, literally no one.
24:55No.
24:55Um, bonbons versus A Little Sweet Treat.
24:58Have you been to both?
24:58I've never been to A Little Sweet Treat.
25:00But like neither are Reese's Cup.
25:02Get a grip.
25:04Fair enough.
25:05Thank you so much for joining us today.
25:07Thank you for having me.
25:07This is so fun and I'm so excited to see what you do in the future.
25:09I feel like I just talk so fast.
25:11So thank you.
25:12You gave so many great answers.
25:14Good.
25:14So appreciate you and excited for Daphne to come out.
