00:03And we both, even I, who had been pretty pro-Jaron Duran throughout,

00:06we were both pro him at the trade deadline.

00:08I was very pro-Duran.

00:11He was so bad to finish the year and so much worse in the Yankees series

00:14that even I was like, okay, I'm done.

00:16If he's not even your leadoff hitter anymore.

00:18But I guess I'm not really done if I'm like, well,

00:21if I can get more for Abreu or more for Rafaela, I'd move those guys.

00:26You would move Rafaela?

00:28So me too.

00:28I just think if there's a significant difference in your return,

00:31and I'd order them that way, Duran first, Abreu second, Rafaela last,

00:35and Rafaela just won a gold glove, Abreu's won back-to-back gold gloves.

00:39Those guys are great defensively.

00:41But I would move whatever I get the best return for.

00:45I'm not sure all fans agree, and I'd be curious to hear from them on that.

00:47I think a lot of people are just done with Duran, take whatever you can get,

00:50and your outfield is Anthony, Rafaela, Abreu.

00:53I think that's where a lot of fans are at.

00:55I'd shop those other guys around too and see what I could get.

00:57I definitely would.

00:58And maybe where we would differ is just how low down the starting pitcher ranks would you go

01:05and include Rafaela?

01:06I might only include him in a few, but I would trade him.

01:09Like you said, if it gets you Scooble, it gets you Ryan, you're doing that.

01:12Even Ryan, I guess maybe I'd have paused, but I guess if you do throw Rafael in,

01:17then you have to give up less, right?

01:19Like maybe you're not talking about any kind of like, you know, Peyton Toley type of thing.

01:24But I feel like on the team, really only Roman Anthony and Garrett Crochet are untradeable.

01:30Like every other player on the roster, including the minor league system, should be up for trade talk.

01:37And the outfield definitely could square itself away in a variety of ways.

01:41I think Roman Anthony probably ideally would be a left fielder though.

01:44So maybe that kind of clears that.

01:46And so maybe another reason to include Duran.

01:48That might be your best defensive outfield that you can have.

01:50There's a chance.

01:51I know Rafael is very streaky, but it could also be your best hitting outfield that you could have.

01:56But if you're not really getting much in return, I'm not just dumping Jaron Duran for $7.7 million for some like nothing trade.

02:03Yeah, I wouldn't do that either.

02:05I fear the Red Sox might do that.

02:06I know.

02:06Save themselves a few bucks.
