00:00After defeating her Vietnamese opponent in the second round, reigning national champion Roel Canino suffered a setback in the third round of the six ASEAN Individual Chess Championships in Misamis Occidental.

00:13The 17-year-old woman Fide Master lost to woman Grand Master Huang Thi Bao Tram of Vietnam in 53 moves.

00:22The defeat slowed down Canino's strong start, dropping her to sixth place in the standings.

00:27Despite the loss, Canino remains determined to bounce back and contend for a podium finish as the tournament runs until November 10th.
