01:31So this is my second big international event.
01:35The training camp leading up is really the focal point
01:39and then the competition's more of a time to work out
01:44if you can bring anything into that style
01:46and then just focus on what works and what doesn't work.
01:50A learning opportunity, it's good and it should continue onwards
01:53because it's a great learning experience.
01:56Maybe add under 21s because that would be great
01:58but other than that, it's lovely, yeah.
02:00Kasi po, ito po yung, ano, yung world-class na international.
02:09Makalaban po namin yung mga ibang bansa,
02:11mga players na tune-up po namin sa Batang Pinoy.
02:17Maganda yun po experience.
02:19Actually, it sounds great that you're fighting against other countries
02:23like New Zealand, Australia, Hong Kong, including like something else.
02:27So, to be honest, it's very hard when we play.
02:52dahil sa'yo po ng coach namin sa amin na this is the time to explore more technique
02:58and no pressure.
03:01Manalo-matalo ang pinaka-importante is gawin natin,
03:04ilabas natin lahat ng technique so that for the next championship po international,
03:09like in Malaysia po, Series A,
03:17It's very big kasi to go abroad,
03:22to have this kind of experience,
03:23you have to shell out so much money.
03:27So for here, ito na, si Xi'an,
03:30our Karate Philbinas president,
03:32siya na yung nagdala ng experience for us here in Tagaytay.
03:36So less expenses, high level exposure,
03:39so beneficial siya for all athletes,
03:41especially the younger athletes.
03:43Present sa opening ceremony,
03:46si Philippine Sports Commission Chairman Patrick Gregorio
04:00It's exactly how we want it.
04:04It's exactly how we envisioned it, no?
04:08And it's exactly how we're planning it
04:10para rin sa other sports in all other regions in the Philippines.
04:15Ang importante, ayan, no?
04:16Weekend, long holiday, families all together,
04:19watching the kids play.
04:22Iyon yung pinaka-importante, di ba?
04:23Yun ang mensahe ni Presidente during his own physical fitness and sports.
04:29Sabi nga ni Presidente,
04:31ano bang pinakamalalang mangyayari sa bata, di ba?
04:33Injury lang, gagaling din.
04:35Pero that's why ako,
04:37kahit ganito nga, holiday, nakakapagod,
04:40I'm here.
04:42Para naman bigyan ng motivation yung mga atleta.
04:46Well, it's an honor to, ano,
04:50to Sian Manuel Vigiles,
04:52who started, uh,
04:53he was the first president of the Philippine Karate Federation.
04:56And at the same time,
04:57he's also the president of AAK.
04:59Uh, AAK was established 1964.
05:02So we are one of the first
05:04and longest-running karate of the Philippines.
05:08So it's an honor to him to have this.
05:10Since he passed away,
05:12we started doing this annually.
05:14So every year, yan, meron tayo.
05:17And it's getting bigger and bigger every year.
05:20Pagkatapos ng nasabing event,
05:22nakataktang sumalang sa mga ilang
05:24international training camps
05:25ang Philippine Karate team
05:26bago ang kanilang kampanya
05:28sa Southeast Asian Games.
05:30Paulo Salamatin,
05:31para sa atletang Pilipino,
05:33para sa bagong Pilipinas.
05:35Pagkatapos ng nasabing event,
