00:59CARBON is a sci-fi, cyberpunk, top-down action RPG, a hack-and-slash set in dystopian air,
01:05where human life is worth less than some of its parts.
01:08CARBON isn't just a game for us, it's our passion.
01:12We are grown up with action RPGs, spent countless hours playing them,
01:16and always dreamed of creating one ourselves.
01:19We already have a playable demo, available for everyone to download.
01:23It's still a pre-alpha build, but it gives you a first real taste of what CARBON is all about.
01:29The game is designed for players to truly craft and refine their characters,
01:33to make every build unique.
01:35CARBON offers deep customizations, from passive trees and skill specializations,
01:40to implants or DNA modifications, perks, traits, and much more.
01:44And to push personalizations even further, players can choose from 18 distinct classes,
01:50each with unique skills and specializations trees that define their style of play.

02:00Today, I will introduce you two main paths in our game.
02:04After a quick intro, you will choose your journey.
02:07The tech road, where you upgrade your hero with the prosthetic, chips, and bloody thirsty weapons.
02:13Or, a bio, dark road of DNA modifications and mutations, unleashing nanorobots and devastating attacks using tentacles, claws and slashing weapons.
02:23To create the character, we first make a concept drawing.
02:26Then details cut.
02:27This becomes a game model with a skeleton.
02:30And finally, we fine tune the textures and skins in the editor.
02:34I'm Michael, lead environment artist on CARBON.
02:37My job is to shape the world itself, the corridors, the stations, the derelict places you will fly through.
02:44Picture neon skylines, rusted steel and flashed wire in the machine.
02:50My focus is on the environments, creating places that feel raw, dangerous, and alive.
02:57Every corner and every prop is built by hand.
