Menyegbe Adigo, a content creator from Twickenham, UK filmed the moment outside a riverside pub where the water from the Thames rose higher than expected, trapping several people who had been enjoying their drinks. Some can be seen calling on their phones, possibly seeking help, while others laugh and take in the unusual situation. The clip was shared online and quickly gained attention. Menyegbe said: “The video is showing people trapped on a pub and pub stairs, and benches by the tide in Richmond. Some are calling on their phone what made think they are asking for rescue.” One person joked: "Worse places to be stuck!" Another commented: "Well its a good excuse for a lock-in.
