SUPERHERO DROPS IN TO BRING HOSPITAL CHEER WITH VID By Sam Pringle Checkout this heartwarming video showing Batman descending the side of a hopsital to surprise it's residents. A touching tradition in San Antonio, Texas, USA, brings smiles and excitement to children spending Halloween in the hospital. Kara Smith, from Texas, USA, filmed the heartwarming moment at North Central Baptist Hospital, where members of SAFD Rescue and SAPD SWAT performed their annual “superhero drop.” For the past 11 years, officers dressed as superheroes have rappelled down the hospital building to wave and interact with young patients through the windows. In the video, Batman waves and greets two children, including Kara’s own child, Nemo, as they watch in awe from the window. The event began in honor of a San Antonio police officer whose child tragically passed away from cancer at age five and continues to bring hope and joy to families every Halloween. Viewers loved the video online. One person commented: "Never thought Batman would make me cry!" Another added: "Oh my goodness, I absolutely love it how Batman got into character by leaping towards the window, showing the fist for power and thumbs up you got this." ENDS
