Un incendio en una residencia de ancianos en Bosnia causa 10 muertos

El primer ministro Nermin Nikšić describió el incendio como "un desastre de enormes proporciones". Varias personas fueron atendidas por intoxicación de monóxido de carbono y tres permanecen en cuidados intensivos.

00:00An investigation is now underway after a deadly fire tortura, a care home in Tuzla, overnight claiming at least 11 lives.
00:10Local authorities met this morning to discuss the next steps.
00:13As officials confirmed, the biggest challenge was evacuating more than 60 residents from the upper floors.
00:20Many of them were immobile or seriously ill.
00:2335 people were taken to the hospital, including staff, police and firefighters.
00:28Several remain in critical condition.
00:31Police are guarding the site while surviving residents have been moved to safer parts of the building.
00:38The tragedy has once again raised longstanding concerns about poor conditions in the care home
00:44and why the most vulnerable were placed on floors from which escape was almost impossible.
00:51The director has signs resign and investigators are working to determine how the fire started
00:58and whether anyone failed in their duty of care.
