00:17To reclaim their story, Bethany Joy Lenz, Sophia Bush, and Hilary Burton

00:21launched the Drama Queen's Rewatch podcast in 2021, sharing untold memories and insights.

00:27As the podcast nears its finale, Lenz assures fans,

00:31you never say goodbye to One Tree Hill, teasing a sequel series on the way.

00:36The Drama Queen's podcast wraps up with a reunion event in Wilmington, North Carolina,

00:40on November 1st, hosted by FWB Charity Events.

00:44The fans kept the show alive for so long in a way that eventually allowed us to come back

00:49and kind of want to see what all the noise was about.

00:52Like, was this thing really all that it's cracked up to be, Sophia Bush says in the interview,

00:57In the most special way, they've given it back to us, and now we've been able to give them this podcast.

01:03We just have so much more fun, even more than we used to, revisiting the show on the other side of this.

01:10There's something about this project and this community that just feels so consistently generative and generous,

01:17and we're so excited to celebrate.

01:19The live event that we're doing is part of the continuation of that, Bethany Joy Lenz says,

01:24As we watched the series finale, it felt very much open-ended in a way that we all knew that we were done with our job,

01:31but it didn't close things out in a way that felt like it gave you closure.

01:34It just opened the door to start it back over again and continue to live lives with these characters.

01:39Fans can see the podcast trio with Jana Kramer, Austin Nichols, and Tyler Hilton, though Hilary Burton won't attend.

01:48What we plan to do when we're in Wilmington is to give people that sense of,

01:52we're still moving pieces together.

01:55Hopefully it won't feel like a finale, but another piece of the never-ending puzzle.

02:01Back then it was such a whirlwind, wrapping the show, packing, leaving.

02:06There wasn't much time to sit with the experience and appreciate it.

02:11It's almost hard to feel the weight of everything we went through.

02:14It took time to really process it.

02:17Sophia Bush added,

02:19With time and distance, we've been able to come back to this in a gorgeous way.

02:23It's the kind of reclamation and second chance I wish for everyone.

02:26Take out the trash and keep the gold.

02:29She continued,

02:30We spent 10 years together.

02:32It's rare to go back while everyone's still moving forward.

02:35That's what this is for us.
