00:15But who do you guys think out of those four has the best case right now for being the best African player of the year?

00:22I got to go first, man. We was big in the Morocco just before.

00:25You know what I'm saying? There's only one Moroccan player that's got sixth on the Ballon d'Or list.

00:30And the guy played a full calendar year. That's what blows my mind.

00:33Yeah. He was over here doing rounds in Club World Cup.

00:36Yeah. All the way to the final, too.

00:38So, you know, and even the position that he has has been very vital.

00:41You know, obviously with Luis Enrique's system, you know, pressing high, you know, being able to carry the ball from there.

00:46So, you know, it should be Hakimi.

00:47When do they give the award?

00:49December.

00:50I think Mohamed Salah probably is the one who deserves it based on what he did mostly last season.

00:57Interesting.

00:57The statistics that he put up from a purely individual standpoint were just absolutely ridiculous.

01:03I believe he broke the goal contribution single season record.

01:08Yep.

01:09Won another Premier League title with Liverpool with a new coach, which people really did not expect.

01:14And arguably the toughest league in the world.

01:15The clutch moments, the late wins, just the stats that he put up, the way he played, how much he contributed to that team.

01:23I think he probably gets it.

01:25But Hakimi is definitely second for me.

01:27And it's very neck and neck.

01:29PSG's for the champs.

01:30Yeah.

01:31And a treble.

01:32And he had goal contributions as a defender.

01:34He was so versatile.

01:35He was on the right wing.

01:36But then comes inside with the way Enrique plays.

01:39He scored in the final.

01:40They both have a great claim.

01:41But I think the rareness of what Salah did is more rare because literally, again, the GAA record in a Prem season.

01:48Marcos was the host I've come, man.

01:50Give it to the home.

01:50If that's part of it, then yeah, yeah.
