00:00I want to tell you about a San Antonio teacher who is the victim of a porch pirate.

00:07You know what happens, especially if you live in an apartment building.
00:11I know this has happened to me a number of times when I was in a condo.
00:14People just walking by and say, that looks good.
00:17It stinks, man.
00:18Takes a package right off your front step.
00:20So rude.
00:21And so it's the reality that some people do bad things, right?
00:25Well, here's the sad thing.
00:26In that package, it was Kathleen Sanchez's wedding dress.
00:31Oof.
00:33She had a Halloween wedding planned.
00:36Now, she's big into spooky season, so she decided to kind of do something different.
00:40Being that she was getting married on Halloween, she had a black wedding dress.
00:44Oh, man.
00:45Which is so cool, right?
00:46That is cool.
00:47Theme it up, babe.
00:48In that package was that wedding dress.
00:50Okay.
00:51Gone.
00:52And I would imagine, you know, you're not just running down a David's bridal thing.
00:57And just picking up another black wedding gown.
00:59It's probably not going to happen.
01:00So she's a local teacher, right?
01:02And kind of news got around.
01:03And somebody ended up doing a story.
01:05A local news station did a story on this about porch pirates.
01:08And this was one of the many stories that they told surrounding it.
01:11And a kind stranger who wishes to not be named reached out to her personally, was able to find her work email,
01:18messaged her and said, I want to buy another wedding dress for you.
01:23And did.
01:24And so she was able to have the exact dress that she wanted.
01:27And ultimately, she did say, like, hey, it wasn't even that expensive.
01:30I mean, I'm buying a wedding dress that comes in a package, right?
01:33But she's a teacher.
01:34Yeah.
01:34And she's doing this fun wedding on Halloween night.
01:37But she said it really wasn't about the price of the dress.
01:40It was about the act of somebody wanting to go out of their way to buy one for her.
