Jesús Figueroa – Jesús Con Todos, Mágica Fuente 1973/1974 (Uruguay, Psychedelic, Blues Rock)
After the dissolution of Opus Alfa, vocalist Jesús Figueroa began a solo career, recording two albums for the Sondor label. By this time, Jesús Figueroa had become one of the most beloved and revered figures of the Uruguayan rock movement of the early 1970s. 1974 marked a time of decisive change in his life. He joined the religious movement of the Divine Light Mission, where he received the teachings of the guru Maharaja. This was the moment of his closest contact with Eduardo Mateo (whom he deeply admired) and Pippo Spera. It was with them that he organized the memorable concert La Escalera (March 4 and 5, 1975).
