Jan Shakti Janata Dal leader and Lalu Prasad Yadav's elder son, Tej Pratap Yadav, took a sharp jab at his younger brother, Tejashwi Yadav. “Let him campaign. After the elections, we will give Tejashwi Yadav a rattle to play with; baccha hai (he's a child),” Tej Pratap said when asked if his brother had gone to campaign in his constituency. Commenting on Lalu Prasad Yadav campaigning for Reet Lal Yadav from Danapur, Tej Pratap remarked, “This is the end of criminals; nothing will happen to the criminals.” Responding to Amit Shah's remark that Lalu Yadav’s family is like a company, he added, “Let them say whatever they want; what difference does it make?” He also claimed victory from Mahua.
