00:00If you were looking for a laptop with a good design, enough power, and versatility, take a

00:07look at this Lenovo IdeaPad Slim 3. It's an incredible option for this price and I'm going

00:13to tell you everything about it, design, performance, features, screen and, as always,

00:19at the end I'm going to give you an honest opinion and I can tell you in advance that

00:23it's probably a very interesting purchase. First, of course, we're going to talk about

00:31the design and here we have a very, very robust construction. And keep in mind that it's a

00:37large laptop with a 15.6 inch screen. We'll talk about the display later, but despite this,

00:44it doesn't feel heavy in the hands at all. It's one of those laptops that's perfect for

00:49someone who wants a large size, but obviously not super heavy. I think it's elegant, it

00:54feels good in the hand and I think it perfectly meets what we expect for this price. Lenovo

00:58has clearly included a lot of connections in this laptop and the truth is that we have

01:02more than enough. We have two USB ports, a USB-C, an HDMI port, a card reader and a 3.5mm

01:09jack that we can use for headphones and a microphone. So it's perfect for all those who want lots

01:13of connections, you won't lack them, it's perfect.

01:17And of course, at the top of the screen we have an integrated webcam perfect for video

01:21calls and other uses. As I said, the design works, it's minimalist, it's elegant, but

01:27above all for this size it's quite light, quite portable. And that's certainly appreciated

01:31in a device of this type. But okay, the design is great. What about performance? What about

01:37features? Well, here we are really well served. And that's because we have an Intel Core i5-1245-0H

01:44processor. Accompanied by 16GB of RAM and we have a 512GB SSD of storage. This obviously

01:51translates into very good performance, even in demanding applications. The truth is that

01:56it hasn't given me any problems. It's perfect for editing documents, browsing the internet,

02:02consuming multimedia and even multitasking with several applications at once. As you can see,

02:07it runs smoothly and I haven't had any problems. Also, having 512GB of storage is a great advantage

02:14because we'll be able to store documents, videos, photos, etc. without worrying about it for a long

02:20time. For the user niche this laptop is aimed at and for the price, it's really amazing. Of course,

02:25be careful, this isn't a laptop designed for extreme gaming or very demanding graphic tasks.

02:30So keep that in mind, but for everyone else, it's performed great and you'll have a very good

02:35experience. Yes, the performance is really good. I'm very satisfied with that. But let's move on to

02:41other aspects that are really important in a laptop. Let's talk about the screen, the trackpad

02:45and the keyboard because they're something that together make the experience of a laptop better

02:49or worse. And in this case, since I think this laptop is more focused on students and professionals,

02:55I think it's very relevant. Let's start with the screen. Here we have some really good news.

02:59It's a very large 15.6-inch panel with full HD resolution, and I really like that it has an

03:05anti-glare coating that greatly improves the experience in this regard. Overall, it gives

03:10us a very good experience, especially for working, consuming multimedia content, and other similar

03:16tasks. With such a large panel, we'll be able to run multiple applications at once without running

03:20out of space, without it being uncomfortable, and it really shows. I've used it a lot in split-screen,

03:26opening multiple windows, and I really like this way of working. The panel also looks great for

03:31watching movies, videos, etc., etc. As you can see, it's very focused on this type of person who needs

03:37a large panel without it being an uncomfortable device, as I said before. And then, of course,

03:42since it's a large laptop, we have a large, full-size keyboard, including a numeric keypad,

03:47and the truth is that the experience is very positive. The keys have good travel, good feel,

03:51and it behaves in a very positive way. It didn't give me that feeling that other keyboards give,

03:56where you get tired after typing for a while. Well, no, I haven't had that bad experience,

04:00not at all. Finally, let's talk about the trackpad. In this case, I would have appreciated it if it were

04:05a little bigger because perhaps we had more space, but overall the experience has been very positive.

04:10It responds well, we can make quite a few gestures, so there are zero problems here. And along with all

04:14this, we obviously have to talk about the sound because it is a fundamental section. In this case,

04:18we have dual speakers and Dolby Atmos technology, and the truth is that it sounds very good,

04:23with a very good volume, and it will help us, above all, to consume multimedia,

04:27to make the experience positive. So, well done Lenovo, but here we go.

04:30Now for a section that I think sets this laptop apart and that is honestly a reason for buying it,

04:35and that is the software. We have Windows 11, and I'm really not going to explain much here

04:40because you already know it. We have all the benefits of the Microsoft ecosystem and it is also a

04:45system that moves very quickly, very smoothly, we have not had any problems. But the highlight is

04:50that when you buy this Lenovo you get Microsoft 365 personal included with a one-year license.

04:55That is, you can use Word, Office, PowerPoint without any problem, fully converted and with

05:01all the benefits of this Office suite that is so well known and will really help us get the most out

05:05of this laptop that, as I have said, is very much designed for productivity. So the truth is that I

05:10think the software more than meets the requirements. And now, let's finally talk about the conclusions.

05:15Is this laptop really recommendable? What are the pros? What are the cons? Well, let's start with the

05:20positive points and the truth is that there are many. Obviously we have a laptop that I have already

05:25told you caught my attention because of its size-weight ratio. It is large, but not heavy, which I really

05:30liked and it also has very good performance, especially for productivity tasks, multitasking, etc.

05:37And of course, Microsoft 365 is included, which is a plus for getting the most out of this laptop.

05:44But obviously, there are also negative aspects. I would say that the most important one of all

05:49is that you should know that this is not a laptop designed for gaming or for super demanding tasks.

05:54But apart from that, I think you already know what kind of product it is. But you should keep that

05:59in mind. The rest makes it a very, very interesting device, especially for students and professionals who
