00:00I think among all the meetings between the two leaders, this one is perhaps the most important,
00:06a really historical why I think fundamentally the most important progress for both sides
00:11is for the U.S. to recognize China as an equal peer, okay, as an equal partner to talk about
00:19things. So in fact, President Trump used the phrase of G2, which was used by President Obama
00:25many years ago. So this is a big, big progress. That means two implications. Okay, number one,
00:32there will be bigger talks, not only on trade, but also on security issues on Ukraine, on Taiwan
00:41streets, on the South China Sea, and the Middle East between the two countries. And number two,
00:47trade issues, financial issues will be discussed. And in this big picture view, trade issues and
00:54the financial issues, technological issues are, frankly speaking, small potatoes, and they will
01:01be resolved. So there is a sense of enthusiasm among my colleagues in Beijing. In fact, in a formal
01:10dinner gathering, that's the mood of top thinkers in China.
