Kate found a huge diamond ring while cleaning up her boss’ office. She couldn’t contain her curiosity and tried the jewel on. At that moment, she heard someone approaching. It was her boss, Liam, and his girlfriend. She tried to get the ring off. But it got stuck on her finger. Scared of getting in trouble, Kate hid under a desk, hoping that everyone would leave soon and she could deal with the jammed ring after. While in the office, the boss offered his girlfriend the velvet box, thinking the jewel was still inside. When the girl saw that there was nothing there, she got angry. She walked out of the office, kissed a random guy, and told Liam that they were done.
He soon found out what happened to the ring. He demanded that Kate go with him and explain everything to his fiance. But as the two were on their way, there was a blackout. Kate and Liam were now stuck in a dark office with no way out.
