00:00Well, I think full airport-style security is likely to be a bit intrusive and excessive,
00:06given we have so many train stations up and down the country.
00:09There is some technology that I was looking at as a minister in the last government
00:12to enable scanning devices to be used on high streets and so on,
00:16but they could be used in train stations that can distinguish a knife
00:20from things like a mobile phone or a set of keys.
00:23And that technology was being developed a year and a half ago,
00:26and I hope quite soon it might be ready to use.
00:28And you could certainly use that in train stations
00:30because it's a lot less intrusive than full airport-style security.
