00:00A man once asked a Fakir,
00:02There are so many women in the city.
00:05Can you tell me who is the most pious one?
00:07The Fakir pointed to the most infamous, notorious prostitute.
00:12He said, this one is the most pious woman in the city.
00:17That man said, sir, what are you saying?
00:19It is common knowledge that she is a sex worker.
00:21The Fakir said, I maintain that she is very pious.
00:24The man said, how?
00:25He said, when she is with somebody, she is only with that person.
00:30Unlike most other women who claim to be with one, but are actually with many.
00:35The story is just symbolic.
00:37But it tells of how, what appears like that parent, superficial virtue, might not be virtue at all.
00:45That does not mean that harlots are necessarily more virtuous than ordinary women.
00:50Lao Tzu says, when virtue is called as virtue, rest assured that there is no virtue.
00:55He says, when love is called as love, rest assured there is no love.
