00:01Previously...
00:03Wow.
00:04We're really here.
00:0619 celebrities arrived to play the ultimate murder mystery.
00:11This is life or death, isn't it?
00:13All in the hope of winning up to £100,000 for their chosen charity.
00:18Something is afoot.
00:20But they quickly learnt that in this game...
00:23Oh, God. Oh, no, they're all our names.
00:25There is no special treatment.
00:28Oh, God, it's disgusting.
00:30Have a shield. Have a shield.
00:31God, a shield.
00:32Shield!
00:33Shield!
00:34Three traitors were chosen.
00:39What am I gonna do?
00:41And an epic first mission...
00:44I've locked it in and I didn't mean to.
00:46...put players in the firing line.
00:50Claire pulling that lever is exactly what a traitor would do.
00:54Suspicions intensified.
00:56I am suspicious of Kate a little bit.
00:59With her shield, I don't think she ever, like, really had it out on show that much.
01:02No, sir. She didn't.
01:03Nico, I think.
01:04Something about the way he looked at his body, but then...
01:06He was looking quite intense.
01:08He was looking tense.
01:09And the traitors took on a treacherous task.
01:11Tonight, you must murder in plain sight.
01:14Wrap your hands with the poisoned pollen...
01:16...and touch the face of the faithful you want to murder.
01:20Oh, God.
01:21But who will be the first to be murdered?
01:24This is the Celebrity Traitors.
01:27What happens in the shadows?
01:42No one has to know.
01:46Tonight, they will choose who they're gonna kill.
01:49Made more difficult by today's great effort.
01:53Yeah.
01:56God, this is quite hellish.
01:58This is quite scary.
01:59This is scary.
02:00I've got this poison pollen on my hands,
02:04but I don't know who to murder.
02:07It's not gonna be easy.
02:09Oh, hello!
02:10Does anyone want another cuppa?
02:13Oh, I might grab one in a minute, actually.
02:15I'm gonna come for a cuppa.
02:16Come and have a cuppa.
02:17Bye.
02:19I don't trust any of them.
02:21No, me neither.
02:25Oh, my God.
02:26I definitely trust you.
02:28Well, I trust you.
02:33There's something in the shadows.
02:36Claire's the biggest threat,
02:38because she's one of the most intelligent, probably.
02:41Yeah.
02:43I'm really up against the clock.
02:45How am I gonna touch someone's face?
02:52I'm just going to hand out my desserts.
03:04I'm gonna go to the fire pit.
03:05Did he get that thing?
03:06Oh, God, he's out there.
03:07Why's he out there?
03:08Now, this is nice.
03:10Guys, look, I made us a little...
03:12Oh, it's...
03:13Oh, my God!
03:14The French canne.
03:15Oh, thank you.
03:16Lovely warmth.
03:17I'm really...
03:18Good.
03:19And again.
03:21Good.
03:22Good.
03:24Alan tipped me the wink.
03:25I might have to talk to him about keeping it on the lowdown.
03:29I'm not sure who he's killed yet, but either way, the deed is done.
03:33Look at that.
03:34I've got a button on top of a marshmallow.
03:36Who would have thought of such a delicacy?
03:38There's something in the shadows.
03:48Off I go, my darlings.
03:50And let me pray that I will see you all in the morning.
03:54Yes.
03:55I'm telling you.
03:56Yeah.
03:57Me, me.
03:58Me too.
03:59Genia?
04:00Yeah.
04:01Oh, God, it's too much.
04:02Um, I hope I'll see you tomorrow.
04:03Yeah, I hope I see you too.
04:05On the night, my love.
04:07Bye-bye.
04:08Good night, darling.
04:09Oh, good night.
04:10I hope they don't kill me.
04:11Yes.
04:12Good night, my love!
04:13Good night, my love!
04:14May I see you too, my morning?
04:15Good night, my love.
04:16Bells of love, bye bye.
04:17Night, darling.
04:18If I die tonight...
04:20Oh!
04:21Goodbye, I adore you all.
04:22i love you
04:35with the faithful departed unaware that a murder in plain sight has taken place
04:40it's time for the traitors to meet to reflect on their first kill
04:52baby i'm no good
04:57oh i am a bad person well what a day you're not a bad person you're a good traitor who was it
05:13i'm just going to hand out my desserts we'll follow behind we'll come see like what i made
05:18that i made this earlier it looks strange you've got a bit of hair in your face okay
05:26yeah there you go it's gone fabulous darling
05:31oh no oh my god lovely paloma faith i feel awful
05:43i didn't know what else to do i've gone and murdered one of my best friends
05:48i thought shall i do it because i really like her but i thought there's no i'm never going to get
05:53the opportunity it broke my heart you've got to toughen up i don't want to hear any more of this
05:58broken heart nonsense i know what are you what are you like i'm a traitor what are you traitor we've
06:03got to start enjoying this yeah we do it's going to be hard seeing paloma's face at breakfast tomorrow
06:09but alan has executed that perfectly one faithful down well done
06:26the deed is done last night the traitors murdered paloma in plain sight however unbeknownst to the
06:35faithful everyone will turn up to breakfast as the poisonous pollen is yet to take its deadly effect
06:42oh cinnamon where you gonna run to cinnamon where you gonna run to
06:56oh wow are we the first we're the first ones oh i have survived this is an incredible feeling
07:02i did not sleep well last night because i thought i might get killed now i can take a deep sigh of
07:07relief and just enjoy the day and study everyone joe and i had shields but you guys must be feeling
07:14amazing oh god yeah now you could actually eat yeah because you're really we can like breathe now
07:20it was really scary walking into breakfast because you have to play dumb but not too dumb
07:26so it's a real juggling act this is all free right yeah leave a pound charge you later joe who do we
07:33think might be dead so the shields were celia joe marler you me and jonathan we know it won't be
07:41good morning i was nervous to see if i made it you know to breakfast you know it'd be pretty terrible
08:02going on all inclusive to the traitor's castle and then you don't even get a croissant out of it
08:07the tension of waiting is just horrendous horrible horrible i first go through the door oh my god you're
08:17still alive you haven't been murdered and of course i know none of them have been murdered but at the
08:21minute i'm just gonna carry on what i'm doing being super friendly being a little bit oh quite
08:28divvery i can't wait to be murdered just take that mingin photo down why was i staring in the sun
08:35i think you look strangely sexy in that oh thank you emphasis on strange
08:42who's not here yet
08:45it's kind of weird at the breakfast because everyone's waiting for the end when they're
08:48going to see that someone's dead and of course no one's gone so as long as we don't act
08:53any differently when the deed has been revealed i think we're in the clear so it's actually quite
08:59a restful morning have you got any suspicions nothing solid who's in your will i give you a
09:07name and you give me a name okay three two one please who there's a lot of overacting
09:15pretty white it was really different before and after before you chose a very
09:20even suspected as well do you think that there's a traitor in this room right now
09:28you're of averages says has to be almost don't look at the door yeah look at
09:33whoever goes the loudest oh my god it's yeah yeah
09:38that's my number one it's mainly because of something i saw when they took the eye patch
09:52stuff listen it is a reaction to the word faithful it was a real it was that oh oh hi
10:02i was so happy and like relieved it was really nice to see the reaction of
10:29everyone who was pleased to see you as well and i thought oh thank goodness not to be the first one dead
10:38i'm so happy to see you i'm so happy to see you i didn't avoid eye contact with paloma because i
10:45thought people are going to be looking for the any sort of changes and behaviors so i just looked at
10:52her and i was just like i'm so happy to see you and she was like i'm so happy to see you
10:58oh god i'm awful who's missing nick lucy steven and then celia oh my god
11:13she's not celia because she's got a ship it's very unlikely to be steven so it's between nick and lucy
11:19yeah no no oh god i'm taking this way too seriously
11:29oh knock on that
11:30that's everybody that's everybody that's everybody is it yeah
11:50what in there that's all of us oh thank goodness
12:01hey maybe someone was recruited maybe someone's been recruited hello
12:08what obviously i've murdered someone in plain sight and it's a slow working poison so i had to pretend what
12:16what they're all down here but i thought someone was murdered what happened it was a stretch for
12:24my acting ability i don't know how meryl streep does it no one's been murdered
12:29no we're all alive i feel like kate was being a lot louder than usual i just i don't i don't know
12:38there's something there's something a little bit off i never thought i'd care this much because
12:43everyone was feeling so yeah we were all building up to this horrible moment here we go here we go
12:50order oh god
12:57good morning players morning morning claudia everyone is here present and correct
13:04it appears that nobody has died but appearances can be deceptive
13:17the traitors did strike for the first time
13:21and yesterday they murdered one of you in plain sight oh no no what no in plain sight
13:39what did they do so whilst the murdered player sits amongst you all
13:44by the end of today's mission they will be dead oh my goodness so enjoy your breakfast
13:59if you can then please put on your morning attire and meet me outside shortly
14:06what the heck morning with a u i think oh i don't like this
14:11that's quite a twist do you think somebody did something unusual it would have had to have been
14:21unusual enough for it to feel risky wouldn't it
14:32morning loose how are you i don't like this i don't like it at all
14:37so we're going to set in here why don't we goodness gracious me
14:44i bet you it's in a chapel
14:46what do you mean oh morning yeah yeah it's not morning attire it's more you know how do you know
14:52to mourn it's m-o-u-r and yeah but claudia didn't say it she said wear your morning attire
14:58yeah yeah so it could be but she didn't spell it no no so how do you know steven had the same idea
15:03and i'll believe steven because i actually yeah actually fair enough
15:12to actively murder someone you have to give them something or we need to see who gets murdered and
15:19then work backwards and see what they were doing if they were acting weirdly if they had or who gave
15:23them that glass i feel bad i feel bad but you know rude you see roof with the marshmallow and
15:29marshmallow she came around with the marshmallow well no no that was so that was my idea we just
15:35brought it down to the fire okay yeah i'm just thinking but you couldn't control who would he
15:41i feel like i had so little few interactions yesterday that i don't feel like i was got
15:48every single thing that happened yesterday could have been that nico hugged me goodbye nico hugged
15:56you goodbye yeah he was like oh my one number one suspect but isn't it obvious because that's what
16:02his whole career is built exactly yes so maybe it's too obvious you mean i mean what else though what
16:08else could it be i'm not sure of anything and that's what they like to do to us there are so many
16:14possibilities of what murder in plain sight might entail whether it could be to give you a letter or
16:19oh have a look at this book what do you think you know it could be anything
16:30you're all right i'm trying to retrieve myself for the first banishing i think you're okay i don't
16:35think anybody thinks i'm a traitor do they um your name has come up oh shut up no no it has
16:41jonathan had briefly mentioned that my name had come up and i was like what that's a traitor
16:48it was um it was a surprise
16:52should we say yeah but people like nico lucy or david could fly under the radar
16:58really easily yeah they're the little sweet ones yeah because you always think of a traitor of being
17:03this cunning killer hey guys hello yeah we're good how are you great i love the green oh thank you it's
17:15beautiful have you noticed anything weird either of you it's so hard to tell at this point because
17:23everyone worked so well together on their mission why have you noticed anything no i'm just retracing
17:28everything that happened but one thing which i am thinking is very smart is now we're all thinking
17:33about this instead of who the traitors are oh okay who's been murdered well i don't know about you
17:38guys but i am yeah totally oh that's interesting i didn't see it from that perspective yeah oh goodness
17:46fearful stuff fearful stuff yes they're in the part there yeah i wonder whether the traitors were
17:58also surprised when the person that they've chosen to murder walked in i wish i was looking at kate's
18:06face actually like oh wait what why are they not dead you know what i mean yeah because it was straight
18:11away kate went oh there must have been a recruitment like to try and people may think of me as just an
18:16athlete when actually i like to think of myself as somebody that is very observant and can think
18:21about lots of things all at once the clever ones we wish somebody is dead now i know walking around
18:35walking well not wait can we be dead you can't because you've got a shield and i've got a shield
18:39i could i didn't go i didn't have a shield yeah yeah you could be dead i could be dead i'm on the
18:44inside please don't don't don't don't who do you trust charlotte i trust yeah no well i don't you
18:52see why what she gave up her shield very quickly that would be a very good move for a traitor because
18:59she doesn't need it anyway can we just say she is a very nice person she's adorable but that's the
19:03point don't you see yeah yeah yes and she's very bright and very quick and you have to be i don't
19:10trust you you see what i'm sorry joe you're very clever you see and you would be a very unlikely
19:17choice for a traitor because you're so adorable i know you do have to watch people very carefully
19:24the traitors who are here are being so smart because i can't really tell i'm beginning to suspect
19:31everyone but you are right even though you're accusing me but yeah if you're being really
19:36clever you have to go ignore the people you think it might be and go the other way and then i reckon
19:42you've got more chance exactly i know as i'm sat here surrounded by three traitors
19:49i am in my day-to-day life very weak wills i'm a sheep um but in this game i'd like to put my best
19:56foot forward and hunt down a traitor with um such vigor that it frontens people
20:12with the faithful still speculating about last night's murder in plain sight
20:16the players must now come together for their next mission but for poisoned paloma the end of her time
20:23is drawing near
20:34we came out of the castle to see claudia resplendent on horseback in front of a rather
20:42more worrying sight of three coffins i was just like shocked there's three coffins
20:54joe marlis not going to get in one of those is he
20:59it's all starting to feel a little bit real we actually have murdered someone
21:03dearly beloved players we are gathered here today to pay our respects to our first murdered faithful
21:16a high-profile death deserves a high-profile funeral you might be wondering why there are three coffins
21:26all will be made clear for one of you death is incredibly close
21:34now follow me we're going on a little walk
21:37oh my god it just feels very forbidding macabre morbid desperately gloomy
21:54and we know that at the end of it someone's not coming back with us
21:57wow the heart is a racing i don't usually get nervous i'm starting to get a little bit shaky
22:18oh
22:32Oh, my God, that's really creepy.
23:02That was cheery.
23:07Players, welcome back to the graveyard.
23:12On day one, you dug your own graves.
23:17Today, our first murdered faithful will be laid to rest here.
23:24Players, your mission today is to correctly identify
23:28which faithful has been murdered by answering a series of clues.
23:34The clues will whittle down the potential victims to three.
23:41The murdered faithful and two other players,
23:46the traitors chose to lie alongside them just for fun.
23:51Oh. Oh, God.
23:53The traitors could have also chosen themselves to lie in the coffins.
24:02Celia, Kate, Joe Marler, Joe Wilkinson and Jonathan,
24:11you have shields so you are safe.
24:14The rest of you, thoughts and prayers.
24:19Wow. Thanks.
24:21So, to clarify, you need to solve clues
24:25to work out which three players belong in these coffins.
24:30For each player you correctly identify,
24:34I will add £3,000 to the prize fund.
24:39That means a total of £9,000 is up for grabs today.
24:44But each time you request an additional clue,
24:49money will be deducted.
24:53I will now hand over to the choir for the first clue.
24:57You chased your goals with all your might
25:08Until you kicked the bucket out of sight
25:16Has any of the actors died?
25:20Because nobody here... Yeah.
25:21Kicked the bucket means... Several times.
25:23Yes, die. Kicked the bucket out of sight.
25:27Might as in strength.
25:28Yeah, but Joe's got a... I see Joe, but he's got...
25:30Yeah, but he's got a shield.
25:32He's got a shield.
25:33Do we want to hear a second clue just in case?
25:36I think we should, yeah.
25:37We're not definitive, are we?
25:38No.
25:39My strategy was to act like I didn't know the answers
25:44and I was as confused as the rest of the group.
25:47OK, here is the second clue.
25:50But it does mean you'll lose £500.
25:59Ballot box.
26:00Ballot box.
26:01Oh, is it Nico?
26:02Oh, my goodness me.
26:04It's Nico.
26:04When it came out with the ballot box,
26:08I instantly knew it was Nico
26:10because he famously ran for London Mayor.
26:14Oh, my God.
26:16Are we agreed, everyone?
26:18Yes.
26:19So, Nico, please lie in the coffin.
26:22First time in a coffin?
26:23Oh, Nico.
26:25Oh, no.
26:28I can think of nothing worse than going out on the first murder.
26:31I just, I, like, now the fear level has gone up even more.
26:36My paranoia is spiralling.
26:38Nico, I can tell you that coffin does belong to you.
26:45£2,500 banked.
26:49If we put Nico into one of the boxes,
26:53who we know that is heat on already,
26:56then it might be enough for one of them to say,
26:58his name's come on.
26:59That's what people are like.
27:00They are second-guessing,
27:02so I think that's a really good call.
27:03And they struggle to trust him
27:04because of the videos that he makes on YouTube.
27:05His name has come up a lot.
27:10Nico, I'm afraid your time with us may soon be over.
27:15Aw.
27:16When Nico got in that coffin,
27:18he actually looked quite sad,
27:20and that made me feel quite bad and a bit guilty.
27:24On to the next coffin.
27:25You filled the airwaves with laughter and jest,
27:33completed your task,
27:36now it's time to rest.
27:44With laughter and jest.
27:46Alan's got a radio show, it's Airwaves.
27:48I did Radio 2 for years.
27:50I think it might be me.
27:52I've got a podcast and I've done Taskmaster.
27:54Oh, I haven't done that.
27:55I'm Task.
27:56I haven't done the Task.
27:58I've had a Radio 4 series and I've done Taskmaster.
28:01It had the word tasking and airwaves,
28:05and I thought,
28:08could that be me?
28:09But Nick thought it was about him.
28:11And was the radio show a comedy?
28:14A comedy, yeah.
28:14Should we do second clue?
28:16I think we have to do second clue.
28:17Second clue, please.
28:18You would like a second clue?
28:20Yeah.
28:21Yeah.
28:23It's me.
28:24It's me.
28:24To my horror,
28:26the next clue,
28:27Space Rocket, the Apollo 11,
28:29was brought out,
28:29and I was like,
28:30well, that's me.
28:33Oh, it's me.
28:34Oh, it's Nick.
28:35It is Nick.
28:36Of course it is.
28:37Have you made your decision,
28:39or would you like another clue?
28:41I think I've made your decision.
28:43You've made your decision.
28:44Who do you think this coffin belongs to?
28:47Mr Nick Muhammad.
28:48Nick.
28:49Nick Muhammad, please.
28:53It was horrible getting into the coffin,
28:56and, yeah,
28:57I've never got into a coffin before, obviously,
28:59so it was just quite ominous and surreal.
29:02If you get this correct,
29:06you will bank £2,500.
29:09Before I reveal if you guessed correctly,
29:13I am going to show you the third clue.
29:20What's in it?
29:20A bow.
29:21A bow.
29:21A bow.
29:21A bow?
29:22It's pointing to the yellow.
29:24Oh, yellow.
29:25What does it happen to me?
29:26That's the hull of the burble.
29:28I've got nothing to do with.
29:29A bow.
29:29Apollo is from Hull.
29:32But why a spaceship for Lucy Beaumont?
29:36Oh, it's me, then.
29:38I wonder if it's you.
29:39I had a show called Spaceman.
29:41Oh, no!
29:44So it's Lucy.
29:45That's his awkward.
29:47I've played at the Apollo.
29:48It's me.
29:49So it's Hull, live at the Apollo.
29:51I was on Taskmaster, and I've got a podcast.
29:53It's too late.
29:54Doesn't it matter?
29:54It's too late.
29:55Nick?
29:56Yeah?
29:56I can tell you that that is not your coffin.
30:00Oh!
30:02It is not your time to die yet.
30:05Oh, after all that.
30:07I'm so sorry.
30:08The coffin was chosen for Lucy.
30:12Oh!
30:14Lucy.
30:14Lucy.
30:15Here's something, though.
30:17Is it worth putting someone quieter?
30:19Like who?
30:20Like Lucy.
30:20And then we can just say, you are quiet, Lucy.
30:23You so far under the radar?
30:25Yeah.
30:25Oh, yes.
30:28I can't really compare the coffin to anything I've experienced before.
30:32I once fell asleep in a wheelie bin.
30:35It's about...
30:35It's about it.
30:39Players, by guessing incorrectly, I'm afraid you haven't banked any money for this coffin.
30:46I'm sorry I got it wrong, but you just airwaves.
30:49This was a bit...
30:49No, no, I'm sorry, is you in the coffin as well.
30:52We should blame the traitors, because they must have known, and they could have stepped forward
30:55and steered us.
30:56We knew that it was meant to be her, but of course, if we'd have intervened, we'd have
31:00given ourselves away.
31:01It's time to find out who the third and final coffin belongs to.
31:06You found your voice amidst the big smoke.
31:14Your story is done, but your words still spoke.
31:23It said it was...
31:24It says the story is done, but your words live on.
31:27Is it Charlotte?
31:28I hope my story's not done.
31:31Her story's not done.
31:32It's still worth getting another clue, isn't it?
31:35Yeah, second clue.
31:36The second clue for the final coffin.
31:39Here it comes.
31:40A school tie.
31:43Is it you, Paloma?
31:44St Trinian's?
31:45But Celia, me and Stephen were in St Trinian's.
31:49Ah, yeah.
31:50Well, it could be black and white and it could be Newcastle.
31:53Newcastle?
31:54Yeah, which could be me.
31:54I'm from Newcastle, and it looked like a Newcastle United colours.
31:58I was convinced it was me.
32:00But I think we should get a third clue.
32:01We think it's David, but we wanted a third clue.
32:04So you'd like a third clue?
32:06Yeah.
32:06You'll lose another £500.
32:12What is that?
32:13Hearts.
32:13It's a heart, like heart badges.
32:15Plasters on the hearts.
32:16Broken hearts.
32:17Has anyone got a song called Plaster on the Heart?
32:19I only love hearts like this.
32:21Yeah.
32:21Oh, yeah.
32:22Yeah, but I don't understand why the type...
32:26The Centrillion.
32:26The Centrillion's.
32:27And then...
32:28You found your thing in the big smoke, but you're a Londoner.
32:30I am from London.
32:31What's the story's done and a word's still spoke?
32:35But that is only love can hurt like this.
32:37Right.
32:38And that looks Centrillion's-y.
32:40It is me, I think.
32:41It's the Centrillion's tie.
32:43It has to be Paloma.
32:45Have you made your decision?
32:47Paloma.
32:48Me.
32:48Paloma?
32:49Yeah.
32:50Step forward.
32:50Oh, no, don't say that.
32:52Oh, no, don't say that.
32:52Jesus.
32:54God, what a grim day.
32:56I have no idea what's going on right now.
32:58All I hear is the rain and my heart beating really, really fast in my chest.
33:04It might...
33:05It's one of you.
33:06It might not be you.
33:07It might not be you.
33:08It's only one.
33:08I feel so bad seeing Paloma get in the coffin.
33:14I mean, she actually looks at me and I look at her and she's like, ooh.
33:17And I'm like, yeah, I popped you in that coffin.
33:19I can now reveal that the third coffin belongs to Paloma.
33:28Yay!
33:29Congratulations.
33:30You banked £2,000.
33:32Well done, everyone.
33:34You correctly guessed two players.
33:37You've won £4,500 for the prize fund.
33:41But that's horrible, though, because that means one of the three are going.
33:45I was terrified for whoever was getting murdered,
33:48but there was a part of me that could just have a little sigh of relief
33:51because it wasn't going to be me.
33:55There is one last question to answer, and it is a big one.
34:01Oh.
34:04As a group, you must now decide who of these three
34:09did the traitors murder in plain sight.
34:15Oh, God.
34:16If you guess correctly, I will give you an extra £4,000.
34:22£4,000?
34:24Once you've decided, you must place this wreath at the foot of their coffin.
34:30You may start your discussion now.
34:33OK, vote. Vote. Put it to a vote.
34:35Right.
34:36Oh, no, no.
34:36That's the fairest way to do it. We've no clue.
34:38OK, yeah.
34:39Yeah, I think Ruth is right. We should vote.
34:41OK, hands up for Paloma.
34:45I'm stuck between a rock and a hard place.
34:48Obviously, I know the answer's Paloma,
34:50but if I say it's Paloma,
34:53then I'm going to have heat on me.
34:57One.
34:57OK, hands up for Lucy.
35:04There's no point in taking a vote for Nico.
35:06I'm ready for Nico.
35:07I think it's me, though. I do.
35:11Tell me who you're locking in.
35:13Lucy.
35:14Lucy.
35:14Oh, Lucy, Lou.
35:20Thank you, Mark.
35:23According to you, Lucy has been murdered by the traitors.
35:27If you are right, £4,000 will be added to the prize pot.
35:34But have you guessed the murder victim correctly?
35:40We are about to find out.
35:44This is really sad.
35:51This is really sad.
36:14Oh, Paloma, you were right.
36:25That is flabbergasting.
36:30It was Paloma.
36:35Bye-bye, Paloma.
36:37Thank you, Paloma.
36:37Thank you, Paloma.
36:41Paloma is dead.
36:43Rest in peace.
36:48We love you, Paloma.
36:50I thought I wasn't going to get emotional, but I feel really sad.
37:00Oh, my God.
37:02Goodbye, sweet Paloma.
37:03It's been really a wonderful experience.
37:06I just wish it had been longer, but I guess that just leaves me to say that this is now goodbye.
37:13And they could never tear us apart.
37:16And they could never tear us apart.
37:18I'm feeling really sad, actually.
37:22Truthfully, she was such a joy.
37:25Our sunshine's gone.
37:27Would anybody like to say a few words?
37:32Alan, you knew her the best.
37:33Why don't you say something about her?
37:36Yeah.
37:36Oh, well, I think we're all going to miss her, really.
37:40The biggest irony is for someone who was so full of life and then turned like this.
37:46It just doesn't feel fitting, and I think we're going to miss her.
37:49And we will avenge her death.
37:52Yes!
37:53We're going to get some traitors, aren't we?
37:54Yes!
37:57It's been a dramatic day.
37:59I have to tell you, it might also be a dramatic night.
38:03Now I'll get back to the castle.
38:07I'll see you later.
38:12Paloma, I'm sorry we killed you.
38:15It was absolutely nothing personal.
38:18For you, it was wrong time, wrong place, wrong game.
38:22They could never, ever tear us apart.
38:33You, Alan, were really close to Paloma, so how are you feeling?
38:37We really did have a bond, and obviously, you know, I hate goodbyes at the best of time,
38:41but what a goodbye, you know?
38:44I think Paloma's murder has thrown everyone off my scent.
38:48I'm getting a lot of sympathy.
38:50Are you all right?
38:51I know Paloma was close to you.
38:53Paloma's murder's my shield, because people just think,
38:56oh, Alan wouldn't do that to his good friend.
38:59If you were a traitor, right, who's the least likely person to have killed Paloma?
39:06Someone she's close to.
39:07Yeah.
39:08Oh, you're talking about Alan?
39:09I'm talking about Alan.
39:11So you're suspicious of Alan right now?
39:12No, I'm just saying, that's the least likely person to have killed her,
39:15but it's also, therefore, something you have to consider.
39:19Yeah.
39:20If a traitor's name comes up, I will defend them as much as I can,
39:24but not to my own detriment.
39:26Any thoughts?
39:32I hate to say it, but I think Claire and Kate.
39:36Claire?
39:38Let me tell you about Kate.
39:39I feel Kate is a traitor.
39:40Really?
39:41Kate's a traitor.
39:42I see it and I feel it.
39:45I watched everybody to see people's reactions.
39:49The person that I had in my head was Tamika.
39:53Oh, that's interesting.
39:55Tamika and Kate both sort of did a, oh, you know, thing.
39:59I'd already started my narrative about Tamika,
40:02so I thought, well, that fits, that fits.
40:06I just don't think I'm going to go.
40:08First?
40:09No, to the round table.
40:10Oh, I'm going to hide under the round table.
40:13There's 18 of us now.
40:21Oh, dear.
40:23My gosh.
40:25Let's go in the, um, library or the bar?
40:29Maybe in the bar.
40:32Poor Palermo.
40:34Yeah.
40:34It was really shocking, wasn't it?
40:37It was.
40:38I feel like I have to defend myself properly now because I think there's now a lot of eyes
40:44on me.
40:45Yeah.
40:45Which is...
40:46That's what you mean.
40:46Mm.
40:47The one thing which the traitors will do is plant seeds.
40:51Whoever is being brought up into the conversations, continuously, that's probably the traitors who
40:58have done that, who can we put in the coffin who's going to, who everyone's going to look
41:02at, and then I feel like that's where I was then put forward, which is a bit of a problem.
41:07But I think everyone's on tenderhooks.
41:10You think?
41:10Yes, I do.
41:13Yeah, we'll see.
41:18Oh.
41:19I just noticed that they've already crossed out her face.
41:23Oh, my God, they have.
41:25That makes you final.
41:26Oh, that's awesome.
41:28It'll be weird now without her.
41:30Yeah.
41:32Weirdest of all for Alan.
41:34Yeah.
41:35He's lost his buddy.
41:36Taking out someone as big and loud and wonderful as Paloma, that's a bold move.
41:42And obviously, Paloma and Alan, I mean, they are, like, best mates.
41:45But could it be Alan?
41:47Could Alan have actually done in Paloma straight off, sent her home, knowing that nobody would
41:54ever think he would do that?
41:58Let's go down the road that they have picked one of themselves to go in.
42:04It wasn't Paloma.
42:06I just can't see Lucy putting herself through that.
42:08No.
42:09OK, but that doesn't mean Nico is.
42:10It just means that if we were going down that route, you would choose.
42:14He's very worried now.
42:15Who, Nico, because of that.
42:17He's very worried.
42:19Now he's done a very good convincing on me that he absolutely isn't.
42:23I do think putting yourself in the coffin is a bit nuts at this point.
42:28He does draw attention.
42:29Yeah, so that's what he thought, and he thought.
42:32And he has a point.
42:32If I was a traitor, I wouldn't put myself in the...
42:37Because you've got to keep a low under the radar.
42:39You just want to be in the mellow, personally.
42:42I don't think Nico is a traitor.
42:45I'm looking at someone who hasn't really been accused yet,
42:49so I've narrowed it down to myself or Tom.
42:52I'm leaning towards Tom.
42:54His sweetness and light...
42:55Well, he's diving, isn't he?
42:58But imagine that.
42:59Callously picking us off.
43:02I'd watch that.
43:03Hello, guys.
43:12The thing is...
43:13Ring for one more moment?
43:14Yeah, absolutely.
43:15Come and take a seat.
43:16Pick the traitors off one by one.
43:18That's what you've got to do.
43:20Load them into a full sense of security and then bang.
43:22Get them.
43:23Yeah.
43:24How are we feeling?
43:25Pretty good.
43:26I want to avenge Paloma's death.
43:27Yeah.
43:28Yeah.
43:28What's your feeling with Nico?
43:30I personally...
43:32I don't feel like he's a traitor.
43:37I sort of was looking at people who would kind of be, like,
43:41overcompensating and being super, like,
43:44exaggerated with just their responses to things.
43:48Go on.
43:50Well, like, Kate, for example.
43:53I said Kate.
43:54Oh, my gosh, I'm flabbergasted.
43:57Who uses that word?
43:58You can't just call someone a traitor
44:02because they have a better vocabulary than you.
44:06Flabbergasted is, like, saying whoops-a-daisy, is it not?
44:09You know when you just get a vibe from someone?
44:12I do think the round table might be a bit intense.
44:15I don't feel like I'm going to have a problem
44:18writing a name on a board.
44:20I'll keep Paloma in my heart.
44:23Let's do it for her.
44:24Yeah, absolutely.
44:25It's been a traumatic day
44:36as we laid poor Paloma to rest.
44:39But now it's time for the faithful to avenge her murder
44:42as they gather at the round table
44:45and start the eternal debate.
44:48Who is a traitor?
44:50Get comfy.
44:51It's time for the first banishment.
44:55Heading into the round table,
44:59my heart is just in my mouth, to be honest.
45:01We've just seen Paloma murdered.
45:05No one expected that.
45:06So now you're thinking anyone could go.
45:12People are coming for me.
45:13There's no doubt about that.
45:14But if you think I'm not ready for it,
45:16you lost your mind.
45:18I have no idea in which direction
45:20this round table's going to go.
45:22When it's the first banishment,
45:23you have to make a decision based off so little data.
45:26So I just have to stick with what I think
45:28and hope that no one comes for me.
45:32My game plan at the moment,
45:34especially around the round table,
45:35is to just lay low, stay quiet,
45:38just kind of fly under the radar.
45:42We know how ruthless they are,
45:44these dastardly traitors.
45:46They're clever,
45:48so we've got to find them.
45:57Players,
45:58welcome back to the round table
46:00and your first banishment.
46:06Congratulations.
46:08After today,
46:09your prize fund currently stands
46:11at 19 and a half thousand pounds.
46:16Here's the thing.
46:18One of the skills you need
46:21to be good at this game
46:22is to know when somebody is lying to you.
46:27You are famous.
46:29People lie to you
46:31all the time.
46:32I love that show.
46:38It's a great jacket.
46:42I listened to that particular podcast twice.
46:49Lies.
46:51So how on earth
46:52are you going to tell
46:54if somebody is lying to you?
46:56Let me tell you how this works.
47:01Whoever receives the most votes
47:03will be banished
47:05and will reveal
47:07if they're a traitor
47:08or a faithful
47:09as they leave the castle.
47:14So then players,
47:16for the first time,
47:18the floor is yours.
47:26Can I start just by
47:30reiterating
47:31that we have to write a name down
47:33and we have
47:34very little to go on
47:35and that whatever name
47:36we write down,
47:37it isn't because we dislike someone
47:39or we think they should leave the game.
47:41The greatest detective there ever was,
47:43Sherlock Holmes,
47:44said
47:45it is a cardinal error
47:47to theorize
47:48without data
47:50and we have almost
47:51no data
47:53to go on.
47:54We are,
47:55as Corley said,
47:55going on instinct.
47:58I'm going to ask a question
47:59which sounds a bit sidebar,
48:01but a couple of people
48:02have mentioned
48:02that my name
48:03has cropped up,
48:05right,
48:05in conversations.
48:06If anybody has been
48:08part of those conversations,
48:09can you say
48:10what came up?
48:11Because I feel like
48:11then that might help us
48:13to understand
48:13what people are thinking of.
48:16I mentioned your name.
48:18Why did you think that?
48:20Because I think in,
48:22I'll say the mission
48:23today specifically,
48:25I didn't know whether
48:27your sort of
48:29larger response
48:30to Paloma's
48:32coffin being closed
48:34was an overcompensation
48:37or whether it was
48:38a genuine
48:39sort of
48:41fear.
48:42first of all,
48:43I'm a massive ham.
48:45That's the first thing.
48:46So my reactions
48:47are always massively
48:48over the top
48:48about everything.
48:50But genuinely,
48:50I was flabbergasted.
48:53And I'll end up as well,
48:54exactly the same thing.
48:56When we were here
48:57and we took the masks off,
48:59the overreaction
49:01wasn't to the word
49:02traitor from you,
49:02it was to the word
49:03faithful.
49:04When you went faithful,
49:05but it's exactly
49:07the same thing.
49:08It's the ham.
49:10It's the ham.
49:10I am a ham.
49:11I'm terrible ham.
49:12Yeah.
49:13I just have a question.
49:15When we were doing
49:16the challenge,
49:17a lot of people
49:17were very
49:18forthcoming
49:20with their shields
49:21and stuff.
49:21I just didn't,
49:22maybe I didn't hear you,
49:23but I didn't notice you
49:24once offered up.
49:26I didn't know
49:28that Charlotte offered it.
49:29That's how out of it I was.
49:31I actually didn't know
49:32you'd given it up.
49:33I was in a blur.
49:34But also,
49:34isn't that evidence
49:35I'm a faithful?
49:36It means that I was more keen
49:38to hang on to the shield.
49:41One thing we might consider,
49:42of course,
49:42is that Claudia asked us all
49:44whether we wanted
49:45to be faithfuls
49:45or traitors.
49:48We might consider
49:48amongst ourselves
49:49who we think
49:50is the kind of person
49:50who would say,
49:51yeah, I'd love to be a traitor.
49:53On that basis,
49:54I felt,
49:55and don't take this personally,
49:57that Nico was the kind of person
49:58who might say,
49:59I'd love to be a traitor.
50:00Okay, well,
50:01I'm actually glad
50:02that I've got this opportunity
50:03to speak and defend myself.
50:04First off,
50:05I am a faithful.
50:06I actually asked
50:07to be a faithful as well.
50:08But what I will say
50:10is today,
50:11obviously,
50:12rest in peace to Paloma,
50:14but I believe
50:14that I have been set up.
50:17I believe
50:18that when the traitors
50:19met up,
50:19they were like,
50:20well,
50:20let's put Nico forward
50:22because Nico
50:23has come up
50:24in conversation
50:25and if he's in there,
50:27he's going to get brought up
50:28at the table.
50:28It's going to be a reason
50:29that's used against me.
50:30But with that being said,
50:32does anyone have
50:33any rebuttal
50:34as to why
50:34I would,
50:35as a traitor,
50:36put myself
50:37into the coffin
50:39where everyone's eyes
50:40would be on me?
50:40I think there's a case
50:43of double and triple bluffs here.
50:45Yeah.
50:45I mean,
50:46and there's other reasons
50:47that I've been also thinking
50:49about you, Nico,
50:50and one of them being
50:51at the round table
50:52before and after
50:53you had
50:54an impeccable poker face.
50:56Yeah.
50:57And you were, like,
50:58completely expressionless.
51:00And that made me wonder.
51:03Nico,
51:03can I add something?
51:04Because,
51:04first of all,
51:04I really like you
51:05and I really admire you
51:06as well.
51:07But I also was someone
51:09who raised your name
51:09early on
51:10for the same reason
51:11that Charlotte's just said.
51:12And I thought there was
51:12a change in your behaviour.
51:14That's why I thought
51:15there was a chance
51:15and that's why
51:16I am one of the people
51:16who did mention your name.
51:18All I can say,
51:19because if I am a traitor,
51:21why would I put myself
51:23into a coffin?
51:24It doesn't make
51:24any sense at all.
51:26It does feel risky.
51:28Extremely risky.
51:29And I think,
51:30like...
51:30I mean,
51:30the proof of that
51:31is in the fact
51:32that we're all talking
51:33about it now.
51:34Exactly.
51:34Yeah.
51:36Just actually
51:37in Nico's defence,
51:39as far as,
51:40you know,
51:40being a traitor
51:40is concerned,
51:42that jars in my head.
51:43The changes in behaviour
51:45that I've noticed
51:46for the person
51:47that I've observed
51:48over the last two days
51:50and it's really hard
51:51and I'm sorry,
51:52but Tameka,
51:53when we came out
51:55of here
51:57the other night
51:57after the traitors
51:58had been chosen,
51:59I thought I sensed
52:01a real change
52:02in your behaviour.
52:03You seemed quite,
52:04withdrawn,
52:06jittery.
52:07And then today,
52:09I watched
52:10when Claudia
52:11was pacing up and down
52:12those coffins
52:14before she slammed
52:14Paloma's lid shut.
52:16I didn't want to watch that.
52:18I wanted to watch the crowd
52:19to see everybody's reaction.
52:22Your reaction
52:23didn't ring true for me.
52:24It was,
52:24it was over the top.
52:26Today,
52:27I was really shocked
52:28because I thought
52:29it was you,
52:30Lucy,
52:30and I really didn't want
52:31it to be you.
52:32so when Claudia
52:34shut the coffin
52:35on Paloma,
52:37I was generally shocked
52:38and then I was just
52:39trying to just
52:40think my way through it
52:41and I actually noticed
52:43you walk away
52:44and was looking back
52:46because it was almost
52:47as if you were looking
52:48at,
52:49that's happening over there,
52:50but what are other people
52:51looking at?
52:52You separated yourself
52:54to look at everybody else
52:56on that.
52:57because I want to know
52:58who the traitors are.
52:59But it's very interesting
53:01that you're talking
53:01about people's,
53:02you know,
53:03looking different.
53:03I felt,
53:04after the selection,
53:07I felt that,
53:09um,
53:10yourself, Kate,
53:11had changed.
53:12Really?
53:13Yeah,
53:14I'm sorry.
53:16I absolutely promise you
53:18I'm a faithful.
53:20Let's,
53:21let's imagine
53:21that we were traitors.
53:23Um,
53:23what would inspire us
53:25to choose Paloma
53:26as our first victim?
53:27Well,
53:28Paloma's own theory
53:28was that she was
53:29such a big character.
53:30Yes.
53:30It was a way of shocking.
53:33Would you have said,
53:33let's get Paloma
53:34because she's a big character?
53:35I don't think I would.
53:36I think I would have done
53:37something more closer
53:39to what Nico's describing.
53:40I would have worked out
53:41who the heat was on
53:43in the first day
53:44and think who would,
53:46who would easily be banished.
53:48It's a,
53:48it's a cruel touch of genius
53:50that it is.
53:51I actually have a question
53:52for Alan.
53:55You would have talked
53:56to Paloma the most.
53:58Yes.
53:58Was there anyone
53:58that she kind of
53:59openly suspected?
54:00She had two names
54:02and I couldn't get them out.
54:05She went,
54:05if I die,
54:06there's two names.
54:10Next thing you know,
54:10she's shoved in her coffin
54:12and the thing's gone.
54:15It was very frustrating.
54:18Can I say something?
54:19I've hung,
54:20we've hung around quite a lot
54:22and you've been really nervous
54:24about being murdered.
54:27Yeah.
54:28So I personally
54:29don't think it's you.
54:31Who do you think it is?
54:33All right,
54:34this hurts
54:35but I,
54:35I was worried about Tom
54:37only because
54:39I was,
54:40when I started this,
54:41I thought,
54:42who would I
54:42think would,
54:44I'll be honest,
54:45this is probably,
54:46it's going to backfire
54:46but I thought,
54:47you and Paloma
54:48are the two people
54:49if I was
54:50in control
54:51of this thing
54:52and that's the only reason
54:53I think it's you
54:54and I've had no other
54:55proof.
54:57Like,
54:57Nico's come up a lot
54:59and I don't believe
55:00what's being put
55:00in front of me.
55:03I feel like the evidence
55:04which I've given
55:05makes it quite clear
55:06that it's not me.
55:07I personally believe
55:09that the decision
55:10is up to you
55:10and I respect that
55:11but if you,
55:13if you do not think
55:14it's me,
55:14do not vote for me
55:15because you could
55:17be killed next.
55:18Oh God.
55:19Players,
55:20the time for talk
55:21is now over.
55:22Oh hell.
55:23Oh God.
55:25Please write down
55:26the name of the person
55:28you believe
55:29is a traitor.
55:34This is awful.
55:52Are your names locked in?
55:55Yeah.
55:57Ruth,
55:58we'll start with you.
55:59Who do you believe
56:01is a traitor
56:01and why?
56:04I vote it for Kate.
56:06I just found
56:07that your behaviour
56:08changed
56:08and became
56:09slightly more
56:10animated
56:11any time
56:12traitor talk
56:13came about.
56:15Tameka.
56:16I have voted for you,
56:21Kate.
56:22I'm just going by
56:24how you were
56:26reacting.
56:28Alan.
56:28I'm going for Nico.
56:31I've got to go for my friend
56:33who I lost today.
56:37Mark.
56:38I'm sorry,
56:39I'm sorry, Tameka,
56:40but I'm going for you.
56:41Just inconsistencies
56:43in behaviour
56:43and overcompensation.
56:45Enemy.
56:46Yeah.
56:48Nico.
56:48I've gone for
56:49Tom Daley.
56:51The UK's
56:52golden boy
56:53might have a good
56:54traitor streak
56:55about him.
56:56You could have
56:57definitely pulled off
56:57the whole master plan
56:59of setting me up.
57:00So,
57:02a vote count.
57:04Two for Kate,
57:05one for Nico,
57:06one for Tameka
57:08and one for Tom.
57:11Kate,
57:12who do you believe
57:13is a traitor
57:13and why?
57:15I'm going to go
57:16for Tameka
57:17because I was
57:19very convinced
57:20by Nico
57:21that it wasn't Nico.
57:23Joe Marlow.
57:25Didn't have a lot
57:25to go on,
57:26so I went with my gut.
57:28Nico.
57:31Lucy.
57:32I kept
57:33scribbling names out
57:35and Nico,
57:36I've wrote
57:36your name down.
57:38It's awful.
57:39It's awful.
57:41Kat.
57:43I vote for you,
57:45Kate.
57:46It just felt like
57:46in the mission today
57:48more sort of
57:49loudness
57:50could have been
57:51an overcompensation.
57:53So,
57:54a vote count.
57:56Three for Kate,
57:58three for Nico,
57:59two for Tameka,
58:01one for Tom.
58:05I'm very nervous.
58:07The reality
58:07that I might be gone
58:09at the first round table
58:10is starting to set in.
58:11my biggest fear
58:16I could be out of the game.
58:19They've got it so wrong.
58:21This could go
58:22anyway.
58:24Stephen,
58:25who do you believe
58:26is a traitor
58:27and why?
58:27What do you think?
58:41The reality
58:42is that you
58:43have to go
58:43out of the game.
58:44You
58:44have to go
58:45you
58:46like
58:47what you think.
58:47You
58:48have to go
58:49outside,
58:49and
58:50have to go
58:50and
58:51try.
