00:00Welcome to the new video from the Car Magazine Tuning Blog.
00:04This time, we're talking about the revised Audi Q3,
00:08whose interior design and functionality have been significantly improved compared to the previous model.
00:14With a particularly well-thought-out design, Audi is setting standards in the compact segment,
00:20in which high-contrast design elements are cleverly arranged between the foreground and background
00:24to create a homely and modern sense of space.
00:26The so-called soft-trap application surface extends from the doors across the entire dashboard
00:34and emphasizes the horizontal architecture of the interior.
00:39At the center is the digital stage with an 11.9-inch instrument cluster and a 12.8-inch touchscreen.
00:47Both are curved and perfectly aligned with the driver.
00:50This digital stage is complemented by a head-up display that projects important information
00:55directly into the driver's field of vision.
00:57The operating concept has also been significantly improved.
01:01Particularly practical is the new steering wheel control unit with two new steering column stocks,
01:06which creates space in the center console.
01:09The right-hand stock selects gears, while the left-hand one controls the lights and windshield wipers.
01:14The elimination of the classic gearshift lever in the center console creates space for a clever layout,
01:21including two cup holders and an inductive charging cradle with 15 watts of power,
01:25which can be elegantly concealed by a roller blind along with two USB-C ports.
01:31There are two more USB-C ports in the rear.
01:33At night, various lighting packages provide atmospheric illumination of the interior.
01:41Particularly impressive is the new optional illuminated fabric panel in the doors,
01:45which is dynamically backlit by laser structuring.
01:49The MMI offers a choice of 30 different colors.
01:53Audi also takes the sound experience to a new level.
01:56The optional Sonos Premium Sound System with 12 speakers including a center speaker and subwoofer
02:04offers a maximum amplifier output of 420 watts and creates impressive surround sound.
02:12Customers can choose from four sound profiles and activate additional functions such as BASV amplification,
02:18automatic volume adjustment and music revitalization via so-called functions on demand.
02:23The infotainment system is based on the Android automotive operating system and enables the use of numerous apps,
02:31including YouTube directly via the Audi application store, without a smartphone connection.
02:37The new Audi Assistant, a self-learning voice assistant with artificial intelligence,
02:42is seamlessly integrated into the vehicle.
02:45It is displayed as an avatar in the central touch display and as an icon in the head-up display and in the digital cockpit,
02:51where it also shows the inputs that have been understood.
02:55Audi is also taking a pioneering approach in terms of sustainability with the new Q3.
03:02The materials used in the interior consist largely of recycled polyester,
03:07be it the upholstery fabrics or the samteller's floor mats made of econol,
03:10a fiber made from recycled fishing nets and carpet remnants.
03:13The wood applications are made of fast-growing and particularly durable wood.
03:21The amount of space is also impressive.
03:23The trunk volume is around 490 L.
03:27If the standard sliding rear seat is pushed forward,
03:30the load volume increases to around 575 L.
03:33Up to around 1,400 L are available with the rear seat folded down.
03:40The maximum towing capacity is an impressive 2,100 kg with a drawbar load of 90 kg.
