A city in South Texas has taken down an anti-border mural after Gov. Greg Abbott threatened to restrict access to $1.6 billion in state road funding. The mural, painted in 2020 in front of the federal courthouse in Laredo, Texas, was privately funded and read “Defund the Wall.”
