00:00Brazil has been named the 2026 destination of the year by travel and leisure. Join me as I explore
00:06Rio de Janeiro. I'm here with my parents and we're starting the trip at the stunning Santa Teresa
00:11Hotel in the hills of the Santa Teresa neighborhood. It's a gorgeous blend of rustic,
00:16modern, and artsy. We headed to lunch at Therese, the hotel's amazing restaurant. I got this
00:22delicious seared lobster and avocado dish. After lunch, I popped by the pool before getting some
00:27work done in the hammock on my porch, the perfect spot to listen to a bit of live jazz. I did a
00:33little exploring in Santa Teresa. We're getting an acai bowl at Moo Cafe, a cutesy little spot. We
00:38ventured to the CCBB Museum to see ancestral Afro-America's fabulous exhibit celebrating
00:44the African diaspora. I went out to Pedro Dusal. Then we went to the home, a sick love, but I
00:50tapped out by three. After a long Saturday, I was in need of a little R&R. So my mom and I got the
00:55hotel's signature, Oro Negro. It features an energizing coffee scrub followed by a relaxing
01:00full-body massage. I left feeling reborn. After a few glorious days at the Santa Teresa Hotel,
01:07we moved over to the iconic Copacabana Palace. This is the spot where celebs always stay when
01:13they visit Rio. We checked out the palace's Hall of Fame, where its most notable guests
01:17are honored, followed by a show at Beko-Gajafas. Copacabana Beach is literally right outside of the
01:23hotel. So we spent an afternoon hanging out here and also took a stroll to the neighboring
01:28beach. Once in Ipanema, we did some shopping. Had to go to the iconic Farm Rio, where I got
01:32three of the cutest dresses I've ever seen. For our final night, I put on one of my new Farm Rio
01:38dresses and then went to a fabulous chef's tasting dinner at Mii, the only pan-Asian restaurant in Rio
01:45with a Michelin star. A forces of pure delight. Before embarking on our trip home, we went up the
01:51Santa Teresa Mountain one last time for lunch at Opera Zivil, and the food was next-level delicious.
01:57Rio was the trip of a lifetime, and Brazil is absolutely a must-visit destination.
