India’s women cricket team defeated Australia

In a record chase, India’s women cricket team defeated Australia in the semi-finals to enter the final match of the ICC Women’s World Cup.

In an interview, batter Jemimah Rodrigues teared up, thanking her family and spectators for their constant support.

Scoring a target of 339 runs, Rodrigues scored 127* of 134 balls, while team captain Harmanpreet Kaur made 89 runs off 88 deliveries.

The Indian team will play against South Africa in the final match on 2 November in Navi Mumbai.
