00:13Before we start, feel free to subscribe so you don't miss any exciting news from the world of motorcycles and tuning trends.
00:19The Yamaha MT-07, a real highlight among the twin-cylinder naked bikes, will be released in a fresh, revised generation in 2025.
00:31Yamaha has given the popular model series a thorough makeover with a more modern design and numerous new technical features.
00:39The look is a real eye-catcher.
00:42The fourth generation of the MT-07 comes with a new fairing and a revised LED headlight unit.
00:50Thanks to lightweight components such as the aluminum triple clamp and the patented spinforged wheels, the weight has even been reduced to 183 kg.
01:00That's 1 kg less than the previous version.
01:04This reduction ensures more agile handling and gives the machine an even sportier ride.
01:10The CP2 engine with 690cc displacement remains true to the model.
01:15The proven output of 73.4 hp at 85,750 rpm and maximum torque of 67 Nm at 6,500 rpm are also retained.
01:28The so-called sound enhancement system is new and impressive, amplifying the engine sound and ensuring an even more intense riding experience.
01:38The new Yamaha Chip Control Throttle, or CCCT, also introduces a ride-by-wire system for the first time on the CP2 platform.
01:46The rider can choose between the street, sport and custom modes, each of which can be individually adjusted.
01:55There is also a three-stage switchable traction control system and an optional quickshifter that supports both upshifts and downshifts.
02:02Another highlight is the new WHP-AMT system, which Yamaha first presented in the MT-09A-MT and which is now also available in the MT-07.
02:17The automated manual transmission eliminates the need for a manually operated clutch and offers the option of choosing between manual shifting via a VIP switch on the handlebar or automatic shifting in one of the two ATM modes.
02:28With WHP-AMT, cruise control is also included as standard, which greatly increases comfort, especially on longer journeys.
02:38Yamaha has made a number of improvements, not only in terms of technology but also ergonomics.
02:44The handlebars have been made 18mm wider and 22mm lower, allowing for a sportier riding position.
02:52At the same time, the footrests, which are 10mm lower, provide more legroom.
02:58The seat has also been redesigned and is now in two parts, which noticeably improves freedom of movement and comfort on longer journeys.
03:08The seat height of 805mm is ideal for a wide range of riders.
03:14Yamaha has thoroughly revised the chassis of the MT-07.
03:17The new 41mm upside-down fork at the front, combined with the improved chassis, ensures more precise and agile handling.
03:27The rear axle has also been revised and now offers an excellent balance between comfort and dynamics.
03:32In addition, the preload and rebound damping can be individually adjusted.
03:39Also new are the radially mounted four-piston brake pads on the front wheel, which provide an even more precise braking feel.
03:47The Yamaha MT-07 2025 also impresses in terms of features.
03:51The new 5-inch TFT color display gives the rider a clear view of all important information such as speed, RPM or fuel level.
04:03Four layouts offer additional customization options and the display can even handle calls and music control via the Yamaha MyRide app.
04:10In conjunction with the Garmin Street Cross app, it also becomes a navigation center.
04:17The Yamaha MT-0725 will be available in two versions, the standard version and the AMT-V with automated manual transmission.
04:27The price for Austria is set at €8,799 for the standard version and €93.99 for the YAMT version.
04:36German prices have not yet been announced.
04:38Both versions are available as a two versions and in three color variants.
04:43Ice Storm, Icon Blue and Tech Black.
04:47The update has definitely taken the Yamaha MT-07 to a new level and brings exactly the features that many fans have been asking for.
