00:03Today we're talking about the Test Bench Run.
00:07Roller Mode, Roller Mode, or whatever it's called.
00:12There are various vehicles, mostly all-wheel drive, which, if they're to be measured, have to be put into a special test mode.
00:21And I'll show you how using a BMW 5 Series G30 model.
00:25As far as I know, it works on many, many other vehicles right down to the generation.
00:33F20, F30, yes, I have no idea what all there are, also X3, X5, 8 Series, BMW and so on and so forth.
00:41You can at least try it out to see if it works, if not, then it was worth a try.
00:45So with this car, it's like this, start the engine.
00:48So, the engine is running, then press and hold the Daily Mileage button.
01:09Then a small menu appears where you can read out various things.
01:12Here you can do a system test, and here is Roller Mode.
01:17You select that.
01:20Then you hold the button down again and it asks if the DSC is off.
01:26Well, you do that by holding it down.
01:34Exactly.
01:34And that is actually the mode for starting the test bench run.
01:44And when that's finished, when you've done the run, just press the trip odometer again and then you're out of the menu.
01:52Well, I'm not entirely sure.
01:54I think you just turn the ignition on and off.
01:57Well, and then everything should be fine again.
