Luke shared footage with WooGlobe of a comical moment featuring his beloved late pet dog, Maddie.
"Maddie had a very strong character and, at this point, was quite old and arthritic," Luke explained. "She was sleeping on the grass in the back garden when a magpie mistook her tail for food and pecked at it.
"Much to my and my mother's amusement, Maddie was so lazy she didn’t even bother to defend herself or give chase for the longest time. It wasn’t until the magpie got close enough that she finally sprang into action, bursting into a delayed full sprint after the cheeky bird."
