00:00Hi guys and welcome to DriveSpark and in today's video we are going to talk about a very very
00:08rugged vehicle which is the Mahindra Bolero. Now especially in rural areas where the Mahindra
00:16Bolero is used as a workhorse and why is it used is because it's built on a heavy duty
00:22ladder frame chassis specially engineered to conquer the toughest terrains. Rough roads,
00:27muddy fields and potholes are no problem for this vehicle. This vehicle is built like it is going
00:32for a war and not just sheer comfort. Now as we all know under the hood lies the reliable diesel
00:41engine known for its pulling power and navigating steep hills as well. Now we've all seen in the
00:47rural areas where people have just loaded themselves in the Bolero and they are going. The suspension is
00:53very very strong very durable car says it's a seven-seater but as you know that in the rural
00:59areas people overload the cars and there are about 11 to 12 maybe 13 people even people sitting on the
01:07roof of cars and going so I mean that's because that's the only mode of transport over there so
01:11I mean they don't have a choice but coming to the point is that this vehicle can actually take it all
01:18I mean you fill it in with people you maybe service it a little late as well it will just keep going
01:24and recently Mahindra launched the 2025 Mahindra Bolero and they have a new variant in it as well.
01:32Now the new variant is called the Bolero B8. The B8 is the new variant's name and if you talk about
01:37the price of the vehicle is 7.99 lakh x showroom to 9.7 lakh x showroom. So the B8 variant will cost you
01:45about 9.7 lakh x showroom which actually comes to about 10.3 to 10.4 lakh on road for that big
01:53seven-seater SUV that is powered by the reliable diesel engine. If we talk about the B8 a little
01:58bit the B8 introduced the new stealth black shade which looks absolutely fantastic however the other
02:04panels are finished in the gloss black. It also gets a new grille at the front a new lower bumper and fog
02:10lights for obviously improved visibility. Now it gets them with the car you don't have to
02:15buy them separately but this only comes in the B8 variant. If you move to the side it now gets 15
02:20inch diamond cut alloy wheels with body cladding that is again finished in gloss black and runs
02:27all along the car. It looks actually very nice. The complete car is finished in gloss black. There
02:32is no matte finishing on the cladding as well. So yeah that thing is a good thing because it gives
02:38that car a little premium look apart from that rugged appearance as well. Door handles,
02:43ORVMs and bumpers are all finished in gloss black to maintain a uniform look as I mentioned.
02:48And if we move to the rear not much has been changed. So Mahindra has reworked on the tail
02:53lamp and added a spare wheel cover with the Bolero branding on it. Rear parking sensors are as standard
02:59where you don't get a camera while the rear wiper and washer are now included as well. Now the B8 continues
03:05with the Mahindra's 1.5 litre M-Hawk 75 diesel engine which produces around 75 bhp of power and 210
03:12nm of peak torque. The motor comes paired to a 5 speed manual gearbox and you only get a rear wheel
03:18drive. There is no four wheel drive with the new Mahindra Bolero. Mechanical updates includes a
03:23suspension tuning for improved quality and comfort on uneven surfaces and if you talk about fuel efficiency,
03:29well it is somewhere around 16 km to a litre which is pretty decent for a 7 seater big size rugged
03:37SUV like that. Apart from that there are no major mechanical changes done to the Bolero. Well however,
03:42you don't get an Android Auto and Apple CarPlay touch screen on the inside but you do get a touch screen.
03:47That is a very very, I mean a weird looking touch screen but it is there. You obviously have standard
03:52parking sensors in the car. Safety features include dual front airbags with EBD. Bolero again continues
04:00to miss out on a rear parking camera and rear AC vents as well but let me tell you that the AC vents,
04:04the blower of the AC is extremely good. I mean it is so powerful that you actually don't need a rear AC
04:12vent because I mean the wind is just gonna go all the way to the back. The blower is extremely,
04:18extremely powerful. So let me tell you the price of the B8 variant once again. So the Mahindra Bolero B8
04:24carries the price tag of Rs 9.7 lakh egg showroom and the prices for the Bolero starts at Rs 7.99 lakh
04:33egg showroom. So now you all know that why people in the rural area use the Bolero so much they
04:37overload it with luggage with people and everything because since the past 20 years more than 20 years
04:44the Bolero nameplate has been around and it is just ruling the market as far as the rugged 7-sector
04:51SUVs go. So I hope you liked this video. If you liked it, do give a thumbs up, share and subscribe to
