02:47the striking sports car proportions. The front and rear sections are finished in the matte neon color
02:52thrilling orange and form a stark contrast to the silk matte exterior color sea silver metallic.
02:59This clear color distinction, known as color blocking, lends the Vision vehicle a modern feel
03:04and emphasizes the vehicle's inherent dynamics. The powertrain of the BMW Vision M Nex allows the vehicle
03:13to be driven either with electric all-wheel drive or purist rear-wheel drive, powered purely by
03:18electricity or by a turbocharged four-cylinder engine. With a system output of 440 kilowatts,
03:26600 horsepower, the BMW Vision M Nex reaches a top speed of up to 300 kilometers per hour and
03:32accelerates from 0 to 100 kilometers per hour in three seconds. The so-called boost plus mode enables
03:40additional power at the push of a button. The range in all-electric mode is up to 100 kilometers. In most
03:50cases, this is enough to cover the majority of journeys in all-electric mode. This also makes the
03:56BMW Vision M Nex a future-proof sports car for inner cities with potential zero-emission zones.
04:01BMW continued work on the hybrid sports car during the COVID-19 pandemic and planned its market launch
04:10for 2022. However, before it reached the assembly line, the company shifted gears and gave the green
04:16light to another vehicle instead, the XM. They simply had to decide whether to take this or the XM,
04:25Sachse revealed. The XM was marketed as the successor to the BMW M1 when it was launched for the 2022 model
04:33year. The reason for this is that it is the first completely independent car from MGM BH since the M1.
04:40However, the plug-in hybrid performance SUV was not exactly well received. Sales of the XM have fallen
04:47by 30% this year and the company is already considering discontinuing production in the next few years.
