00:00Smart rings are the hottest category in wearable tech and fitness tracking right now.
00:03So today, I'm giving you a rundown of the very best smart rings for every budget,
00:08comparing design, price, battery life, and features based on extensive testing.
00:12Of course, they'll all be linked down below, and I'll be going through how I think all of
00:16these smart rings stack up to help you choose the right one for you.
00:20First up, the Aura Ring 4. This is the gold standard for smart rings. In fact,
00:25it's pretty much what puts smart rings on the map. It's ultra sleek, discreet,
00:29and packed with sensors that monitor heart rate, blood oxygen, skin temperature,
00:33menstrual cycles, and even stress levels through HRV. The sleep tracking is especially robust,
00:38and I get six days of battery life before charging it on the included base, which is pretty solid.
00:43But one of the biggest selling points is the fact that it comes in sizes 4 through 15,
00:48an excellent number of options, as well as several finishes as far as style is concerned.
00:52That is also where things get a bit controversial. The Aura Ring is pricey, $349 to start,
00:58and depending on the color you choose, it could be more. Plus, a $5.99 per month subscription for the
01:05advanced health tracking insights tends to turn some people away. But from my experience,
01:09the accuracy, polished app experience, and frequency of new features added keep Aura Ring
01:14atop the podium. In other words, you get what you pay for. And if the upfront cost scares you,
01:19consider the Aura Ring 3. It starts at $199, so a little less pain for your wallet.
01:24I'll link a comparison article in the description between the Aura Ring 3 and 4 in case you want
01:29to learn more about the trade-offs between the newer and older models.
01:33Next, we have the Samsung Galaxy Ring, aka the first major brand smart ring, meaning one from
01:38the Apples and Googles of the world. That means that it's built for Galaxy users with seamless
01:43integration and Samsung health, and even some benefits to using a Galaxy Watch and Galaxy Ring
01:48in tandem. The Galaxy Ring will monitor your activity, analyze your sleep, and feed a collection
01:53of AI-powered insights, to name a few of the core features. Personally, my favorite thing is the fact
01:58that it comes in this travel box that doubles as the charging case. Feels very premium. And it is
02:04premium. This ring is rather pricey at $399, but that's for a one-time upfront cost, no subscription fees,
02:11or anything like that after. The only other catch is that it is only for Android, so iPhone users are
02:17out of luck. But no fear, I've got more options that work with either iPhone or Android coming up.
02:22Moving further down the price ladder, the Amazfit Helio Ring has an amazing value at just $199. It
02:30delivers solid baseline tracking, sleep stages, heart rate, stress, all with no monthly fees. Battery life
02:36lands around four or five days in testing, and while it doesn't rival the top-tier rings in sensor depth
02:41or app polish, for under $200, it's a compelling entry point. Amazfit marketed this ring as the
02:47smart ring designed for athletes. The data captured by the Helio Ring can be easily synced with other
02:52popular fitness apps like Strava, Adidas Running, Google Fit, Apple Health, and more. So maybe it's not
02:58right for you if you're just looking for a very simple activity or sleep tracker. It also does only come
03:03in three sizes and one finish, so you're more limited here than you are with the Aura Ring or
03:08others. Then there's the UltraHuman Ring Air, a lightweight titanium ring that works across Android
03:15and iOS. The UltraHuman Ring Air stands out for a sleek, lightweight fitness tracking ring with no
03:20monthly subscription. It comes in several finishes and size options, all priced at $350. So very close
03:27to Aura Ring, this is probably the most popular Aura Ring alternative, again, because no subscription fee.
03:34In terms of performance, the Ring delivers a decent battery life, about four days on average.
03:39Feature-wise, the Ring Air packs sensors to monitor heart rate, skin temperature, blood oxygen,
03:44and movement, offering insights into sleep, quality recovery, and overall wellness.
03:49One standout is the recent launch of Blood Vision. I know it sounds like some crazy superpower,
03:54but it actually mixes info from your blood work with info from your wearable ring to help you
03:58understand what's going on inside your body. I'd also say the UltraHuman app's recovery and
04:03metabolic scores are definitely useful for those concerned with optimizing performance and wellness
04:08overall. That said, the software still isn't quite as polished as Aura's, though it's clear
04:13UltraHuman is iterating quickly. But here's the sleeper hit of the year, the RingCon Gen 2 Air,
04:20a fresher entrant at $199 with no subscription fee. What stood out the most to me is that the
04:26advertised 10-day battery life is legit. This smart ring is also made of stainless steel and about 3.5
04:31grams and over 3 millimeters thick, it's just incredibly comfortable even lighter than the Aura
04:36Ring 4. On the health front, RingCon delivers robust sleep tracking, continuous heart rate,
04:41SPO2, and stress monitoring with AI-powered insights built in. It doesn't include advanced features like
04:47sleep apnea detection that's reserved for more premium RingCons, but it nails the fundamentals
04:52without charging monthly. Bottom line, for under $200, a Gen 2 Air outperforms many pricier rings in
04:58comfort, battery, and core tracking. That's why it's definitely the best-of-value smart ring of 2025.
05:05All of the smart rings I just talked about are linked down below if you want to take a closer look,
05:09but one very important note before you buy. You'll see that a lot of these rings have a sizing kit
05:15process. It's super important that you pick the right smart ring size to get that balance of a
05:20comfortable fit and optimal skin contact for all of the sensors packed in there. Even slight
05:25differences in ring size can affect comfort and accuracy, so please be patient and follow each
05:31manufacturer's sizing guidance accordingly. Thank you for making it to the end of this video.
