The Cure for a Broken Heart Full Movie
Transcript
00:00:00Hey. Hi.
00:00:19Okay.
00:00:21Here, here, put this on. I don't want to share this view with anyone else.
00:00:29Zeek.
00:00:33You know, I am going to go all in at those tryouts tonight.
00:00:37The salary is wild if you make the team.
00:00:41We can get Lacey's heart surgery.
00:00:43Lacey, you're so lucky to have him as a dad, aren't you, girl?
00:00:50Shut up!
00:00:53Alright, I gotta go. Well, you're gonna be there tonight, right?
00:00:56Promise. Yeah? Mm-hmm.
00:00:58Okay. I heard your allergies were firing up and you've been glued to that dog.
00:01:02What are you doing, Liam?
00:01:04Tonight's your only shot at the national team.
00:01:07Come on, coach. I mean, you can't blame a guy for loving a girl's dog, right?
00:01:10Don't worry. I got everything under control.
00:01:13Lacey!
00:01:14No! Oh, no, no, no, no. Not again. Not today.
00:01:28Liam was right there. Are you sure he couldn't win a hand?
00:01:31Tonight's his big game. I didn't want to distract him.
00:01:34Okay. Same as last time. I'm gonna hook her up to an IV.
00:01:40You mean she's okay? No immediate damage?
00:01:43Yeah. I got her.
00:01:45What should I do, babe?
00:01:47If I promised your dad I'd be there at his tryout.
00:01:52You want me to go?
00:01:53Oh, I see. You're such an angel.
00:02:02Chloe?
00:02:03I have no time for this. Liam's tryout is happening soon.
00:02:06You're not going anywhere.
00:02:07And you're gonna break up with my brother.
00:02:09What are you talking about?
00:02:13What are you talking about?
00:02:14Don't you know he's allergic to dogs?
00:02:20Positive reaction to canine allergens?
00:02:22I don't understand. I mean, Liam and I, we rescued her.
00:02:25We raised her together and he seemed fine.
00:02:28That's because he's been popping pills just to be around you in that mutt.
00:02:31How could Liam, like actual perfection, suffer so much for gutter scum like you?
00:02:38Ew.
00:02:39I want to puke just thinking about it.
00:02:41If you care about him, you'll walk out of his life.
00:02:44Your obsession with that sick dog is just holding him back.
00:02:47But I love him.
00:02:48And he loves me.
00:02:49And we'll figure it out. There has to be a way-
00:02:53Shut up.
00:02:54Love?
00:02:55Is that what you call making an athlete pop pills all the time just to be around you?
00:02:59There's nothing but a stain on him.
00:03:03What the hell are you doing?
00:03:06After tonight, Liam will be in the National League.
00:03:09And you'll be alone with your filthy mutt with no future.
00:03:14If you have any dignity left, break up with him.
00:03:17Unless you want to drag him into that mud you came from.
00:03:19Liam, I had no idea you went through so much for me and Lacey.
00:03:31Where is Joanne?
00:03:41He's here.
00:03:42You sure about this?
00:03:43What the hell are you doing?
00:03:48What the hell are you doing?
00:03:56What the hell are you doing?
00:03:58You skipped my tryout to hang out with him?
00:04:00What the hell are you even talking about?
00:04:02Lacey almost died.
00:04:03Again?
00:04:04And while you were out there chasing glory, Nathan was the only one who was taking care of us.
00:04:09You should go.
00:04:11Lacey and Joanne, they just need rest.
00:04:15Right?
00:04:17You want to be with him?
00:04:21So be it.
00:04:23Forgive me.
00:04:45I'm only doing this because I love you.
00:04:48Good girl.
00:04:50Bella's great, Mr. Bells.
00:04:52She just needs proper nutrition.
00:05:00I can't afford that.
00:05:01I can barely afford food for Bella.
00:05:03Pay for these when you can, Mr. Mills.
00:05:05Bella's recovery is important.
00:05:07Good.
00:05:08Come on, Bella.
00:05:09Let's go.
00:05:10Bye.
00:05:12Dr. Clark!
00:05:13Hey, Mr. Mills.
00:05:14So, how'd it go, Doc?
00:05:17Five.
00:05:18I just delivered five puppies from Lydia's tiny little belly.
00:05:23Can you believe that?
00:05:24After five years, football superstar Liam Johnson is returning to his hometown for an exhibition match.
00:05:29I'm back, Joanne.
00:05:30I got my allergy cured, and I hope this time you can come back to me.
00:05:42Yeah, your dad's coming home, but not for us.
00:05:59Well, well.
00:06:00Five years later, and you're still stuck here, wasting your life on filthy strays.
00:06:09I'm football superstar Liam's agent now.
00:06:24We needed a PR booth, so we're adopting a dog.
00:06:27Preferably one that's well-behaved and doesn't bite.
00:06:29Oh, well, too bad.
00:06:31All we have here is mean biting dogs.
00:06:37Ew!
00:06:38That's disgusting!
00:06:40Lacey?
00:06:44Lacey?
00:06:46Lacey!
00:06:48This is bad.
00:06:49The hard murmurs has gotten worse.
00:06:52To be fatal.
00:06:53Is there any way we can save her?
00:06:54There is a special cure, newly developed by the company called PMX.
00:06:58It's not through the public yet, but maybe we can appeal.
00:07:04Heart diseases and rescue dogs are arriving, so our beta blockers are going to go to the shelters first.
00:07:10Free of charge.
00:07:11What?
00:07:12We spent years and millions developing this drug.
00:07:16Think about it.
00:07:17That $8,000 per box?
00:07:19That's a fortune you're just giving away.
00:07:21I built this company based on the rescue dogs.
00:07:25That is not up for debate.
00:07:26Joanne?
00:07:27I built this company for Lacey.
00:07:29I hope you like my surprise.
00:07:31I built this company for Lacey.
00:07:33I hope you like my surprise.
00:07:34$8,000?
00:07:35You gotta be kidding me!
00:07:36Miss, a heart disease is very serious.
00:07:37It can be fatal in dogs.
00:07:38Life is precious.
00:07:39Consider it cheap.
00:07:40I run a small shelter.
00:07:41$8,000 is impossible for us.
00:07:42Our beta blockers are for people who can actually afford them.
00:07:43Let's be real.
00:07:44If you're broke, don't waste my time.
00:07:45Look who it is.
00:07:46Miss Doggy Daycare.
00:07:47What are you doing here, Chloe?
00:07:48What a pleasant surprise, Joanne.
00:07:49Oh, but I think you're in the wrong place.
00:07:50I'm going to go to the next one.
00:07:51I'm going to go to the next one.
00:07:52I'm going to go to the next one.
00:07:53I'm going to go to the next one.
00:07:54I'm going to go to the next one.
00:07:55I'm going to go to the next one.
00:07:56We have a small shelter.
00:07:57$8,000 is impossible for us.
00:07:59Our beta blockers are for people who can actually afford them.
00:08:02Let's be real.
00:08:03If you're broke, don't waste my time.
00:08:06Look who it is.
00:08:08Miss Doggy Daycare.
00:08:10What are you doing here, Chloe?
00:08:11What a pleasant surprise, Joanne.
00:08:13Oh, but I think you're in the wrong building.
00:08:16We don't have any food scraps for filthy strays.
00:08:19Get this trash out of here.
00:08:25Liam?
00:08:26Of all places, what is he doing here?
00:08:31Liam, they're finalizing details about the game upstairs and they need you right now.
00:08:35Liam, are you endorsing a company that exploits pet owners for money?
00:08:47Ah!
00:08:56How's Lacey?
00:08:58It's not good. It's critical this time.
00:09:01How's it going on your end? Have you got the medicine?
00:09:04Not yet, but I will.
00:09:09All right. $8,000?
00:09:12All right, I'll do it.
00:09:14Wipe my card and give me the drugs. My dog can't wait any longer.
00:09:20Unfortunately, our beta blockers aren't ready for the public, so I can't sell it to you.
00:09:24What the hell? You said 10 minutes ago that you were selling the drug for $8,000 and now you're not even selling it?
00:09:30That was then. This is now.
00:09:31You can't do this. Medicines are produced to help.
00:09:34Why aren't you selling it to me?
00:09:36You manipulate people by their love for pets.
00:09:39You should be ashamed of yourself.
00:09:41No need to drag me out. I can do it myself.
00:09:47I think I saw Joanne.
00:09:49Is that my imagination?
00:09:54There, there. Hold on. Mommy's on her way with medicine.
00:09:59She's going to save you.
00:10:01Just hang in there for her.
00:10:05Please.
00:10:06What is all the commotion going on out here?
00:10:14Oh, it's just some girl from a rescue center causing a big fuss.
00:10:17Nothing for you to worry about.
00:10:18Liam, you're here. The coach called and you didn't answer.
00:10:22Okay, I'm dealing with something. Just give me a sec.
00:10:24The girl from the rescue center, what was her name?
00:10:28I think it was Joanne Brown.
00:10:31Joanne Brown.
00:10:31Why was Joanne Brown here?
00:10:36She was asking for a discount on her beta blockers for her dog.
00:10:39She couldn't afford it, sir.
00:10:40Lacey, let me make something clear.
00:10:43Starting today, the PMX beta blockers are going to be free
00:10:48to all the dog rescue centers.
00:10:52Got it?
00:10:53Joanne?
00:11:09Joanne?
00:11:11I got the medicine for Lacey.
00:11:26It's too late, Liam.
00:11:28Lacey's in there having heart surgery right now.
00:11:30That's the only way we could save her life.
00:11:32No.
00:11:33No, no.
00:11:34This will save her life.
00:11:36You're really that regretful, Mr. Endorser?
00:11:38How dare you stand by those PMX monsters?
00:11:42Selling a life-saving medicine at $8,000?
00:11:45Hold on.
00:11:46There must be a misunderstanding.
00:11:47This is not $8,000.
00:11:49Oh, you're already defending your investors.
00:11:52Seriously?
00:11:53I never knew that success could turn you into something like this.
00:11:56I thought you loved animals.
00:11:57Okay, you are wasting time.
00:11:59Lacey needs to get this right now.
00:12:01So, where is she?
00:12:02There?
00:12:03No, no, no, no.
00:12:04Nathan is in there with Lacey right now.
00:12:06He's a vet.
00:12:07He knows what he's doing.
00:12:07I mean, the guy that broke us up years ago?
00:12:09Yeah, I never got back at him.
00:12:11What are you talking about?
00:12:12Nathan had nothing to do with it.
00:12:13It was in fact.
00:12:18How is she?
00:12:21How is she?
00:12:25I'm sorry.
00:12:27I've tried everything.
00:12:29We lost Lacey.
00:12:32No.
00:12:34No.
00:12:37What are you doing here?
00:12:40What am I doing here?
00:12:42Well, you know, you're the fucking vet.
00:12:43You're supposed to save her.
00:12:45Liam, that's enough.
00:12:47You haven't been here for all these years.
00:12:49And Nathan's been taking good care of Lacey.
00:12:51Now leave.
00:12:52You never trust me.
00:12:54You always pick his side over mine.
00:12:56I'm sorry, Liam.
00:13:02I can't risk your allergy.
00:13:04Look at me.
00:13:05Look at me.
00:13:06Look at me.
00:13:06You ever feel?
00:13:18I can't risk you.
00:13:19You never know what you're doing now.
00:13:20I can't risk you.
00:13:21I can't risk you anyway.
00:13:27Andrej, forever, ever, ever, ever, ever.
00:13:29Hey, Daisy, we should get back.
00:13:45Liam, I thought I told you to...
00:13:56Who's this?
00:13:57Where did she come from?
00:13:59Oh, she looks so scared and starving.
00:14:02Yeah, I found her out by the road.
00:14:04And I think she's been there for a while.
00:14:06Um, I'm gonna check for a microchip just in case someone's looking for her.
00:14:10Okay.
00:14:16She kind of looks like...
00:14:19What do you see?
00:14:22Hang in there, little buddy.
00:14:24We got you, right?
00:14:26Everything's gonna be okay, baby.
00:14:28It's gonna be okay, I promise.
00:14:30Come here.
00:14:31Hi.
00:14:32Take this.
00:14:45Your allergy.
00:14:47Oh, she still cares about me a lot.
00:14:51Should I tell her that my allergy's already cured?
00:14:53If your allergy acts up during the exhibition match, the whole town will be after us.
00:15:03We're just a small shelter.
00:15:04We can't afford that kind of mess.
00:15:06Joanne, you don't still think I...
00:15:08I don't think I've forgiven you yet, okay?
00:15:10Lacey's dead.
00:15:11And that heartless company you're endorsing is partially responsible.
00:15:14Listen, I'm still mourning Lacey just like you are, but...
00:15:17You gotta understand, it's not PMX.
00:15:19I don't care about PMX.
00:15:20I don't care about PMX.
00:15:21They could've saved Lacey, but they'd just let her die.
00:15:23And don't think that I'll just put all that behind me just because you showed up with
00:15:26a dog that looks like Lacey.
00:15:32She doesn't have a microchip.
00:15:37So, I estimated she's roughly around seven to eight months old.
00:15:41Technically, still a pup.
00:15:43Hey girl, do you have a name?
00:15:45Well, she looks like a Lucy.
00:15:48I'm sorry, and what gives you the right to name her?
00:15:51I found her, so I get to name her, and I'm gonna name her...
00:15:55Lacey Jr.
00:15:59Lacey Jr.
00:16:03Come on.
00:16:04Lacey Jr.
00:16:05Isn't he allergic to dogs?
00:16:06Lacey Jr.
00:16:07Oh no.
00:16:10What the...
00:16:11She's mine.
00:16:13Not really.
00:16:14The signer still has to try to find her owner.
00:16:16So for now, she's staying here.
00:16:18Okay, Nathan said that she doesn't have a microchip, right?
00:16:20So that means that she's up for grabs.
00:16:22So, finders keepers...mine.
00:16:24Well, what if someone's posting about her online or hanging up flyers?
00:16:28We can't just assume she's unwanted.
00:16:30Fine.
00:16:31Someone could be out there missing her.
00:16:32Okay.
00:16:33You check around.
00:16:34If nobody shows up, she's mine.
00:16:36Okay.
00:16:37This time, I'm not losing anything again.
00:16:42I'll protect what's mine.
00:16:44Are you still in love with him, Joanne?
00:16:57Uh...
00:16:58That's nonsense.
00:17:00I'm perfectly happy here at the shelter surrounded by our furry friends.
00:17:04What do I have to do with a football superstar?
00:17:06Right.
00:17:07What's the point of liking someone when it's never gonna work out?
00:17:12Uh, Lacey Junior, time for your food.
00:17:13Lacey Junior!
00:17:14Lacey!
00:17:15Lacey Junior!
00:17:16Lacey!
00:17:17Whoa!
00:17:18Lacey Junior, how do you follow me here?
00:17:20Can you follow my sense?
00:17:21Huh?
00:17:22Huh?
00:17:23Huh?
00:17:24Huh?
00:17:25Huh?
00:17:26Huh?
00:17:27Huh?
00:17:28Huh?
00:17:29Huh?
00:17:30Huh?
00:17:31Huh?
00:17:32Huh?
00:17:33Huh?
00:17:34Huh?
00:17:35Huh?
00:17:36Huh?
00:17:37Huh?
00:17:38Huh?
00:17:39Whoa!
00:17:40Lacey Junior, how do you follow me here?
00:17:42Can you follow my sense?
00:17:43Huh?
00:17:44Chloe?
00:17:45What are you doing here?
00:17:46Uh, Liam, I need you to fill these out, right now.
00:18:03And if I may ask, you are firing one of our highest grossing sales reps.
00:18:09Is this about Joanne?
00:18:11Her indifference caused a dog to die.
00:18:14And you know, letting her go is a light.
00:18:16And you know, firing her is actually a very small portion of the problem.
00:18:19Let me remind you something.
00:18:20You are my agent.
00:18:21I am your boss.
00:18:23So that means that you are not able to question my decisions.
00:18:26Got it?
00:18:27Remember this is the same woman that dumped you five years ago?
00:18:30Give me a break.
00:18:31Take a hint.
00:18:32Ew!
00:18:33Where'd this filthy muck come from?
00:18:41Chloe, what is wrong with you?
00:18:42You're gonna kick a harmless dog?
00:18:43Your game is in a few days.
00:18:44You're not gonna risk your allergies flaring up over some filthy mutt.
00:18:47Are you?
00:18:48Okay.
00:18:49You know that my allergies have already been treated.
00:18:50So that is not going to work.
00:18:51And if you're gonna call Lacey Junior a stray and a filthy mutt, you can't.
00:18:54Because I adopted her.
00:18:55When...
00:18:56When the hell did you adopt a dog?
00:18:57Now, if you're going to try to convince me to get rid of Lacey Junior, don't waste your
00:19:01breath.
00:19:02Now you can see yourself outside of that door.
00:19:04Stay.
00:19:05Stay.
00:19:06Stay.
00:19:07Stay.
00:19:08Stay.
00:19:09Stay.
00:19:10Stay.
00:19:11Stay.
00:19:12Stay.
00:19:13Stay.
00:19:14Stay.
00:19:15Stay.
00:19:16Stay.
00:19:17Stay.
00:19:18Stay.
00:19:19Stay.
00:19:20Stay.
00:19:21Stay.
00:19:22Stay.
00:19:23Stay.
00:19:24Stay.
00:19:25Stay.
00:19:26Stay.
00:19:27Stay.
00:19:28Stay.
00:19:29Stay.
00:19:30Stay.
00:19:31Stay.
00:19:32Stay.
00:19:33Stay.
00:19:34Stay.

00:20:11you know i didn't actually take her home
00:20:20she came and found me yeah right like i'll believe that this dog just came all the way here by
00:20:27herself and how did you even find us i know that you were a little bit of a stalker okay you've
00:20:34been blacklisted from the shelter so don't try to come back or else i'm calling the cops
00:20:37imagine the headline star athlete busted for dog napping
00:20:41oh you see that dogs know where they belong
00:20:48i'll go in there and try to find her okay
00:20:54be my guest
00:20:57lacy where are you come on girl let's go home you need some help i can manage
00:21:07where's uh nathan guess he doesn't care about lacy as much as i do you do realize that the rescue
00:21:14center is a two-person operation right so unlike you we don't have any assistance
00:21:18to handle everything for us nathan's busy
00:21:21lacy
00:21:27where oh hey girl where
00:21:30jesus
00:21:32we're leaving and don't try to take lacy jr again
00:21:43can't let her go like this
00:21:48what's going on
00:21:52what's wrong is it is it your allergy are you having an asthma attack i can't breathe i okay okay
00:22:00hang in there okay hang in there okay where's your inhaler uh yeah it's in the cupboard of the
00:22:09uh the kitchen and then on the second uh drawer okay

00:22:37i met my lady when i i met my lady when i was only 14 years old
00:23:02she was more than a crush it was a hell of a rush when she gave me her hand told
00:23:09sorry that was a accident are you breathing okay
00:23:18uh thank you for staying with me i thought you were gonna leave me like just like you did five
00:23:28years ago you know maybe i'm not as heartless as you think i am i mean it was a few years ago
00:23:33anyway there's no point in digging up the past i have a question for you
00:23:37what if my allergy was cured do you think a long time ago we would have stayed together
00:23:49what if what are we eight no i mean that's not what i mean i just like
00:23:55lacy jr no oh yes yes yes we're going
00:23:59wait
00:24:02you didn't answer my question it doesn't matter now anyway okay
00:24:07i mean because in the past you still have a dog allergy
00:24:10there's no sense in spinning fantasies about things that are never going to happen
00:24:15i'm cured all right i swear i my allergies have not flared up in a very long time and if we were
00:24:20to stay together we wouldn't have to deal with it anymore
00:24:22so what explains the allergy attack that happened just now
00:24:28look if you look at the expiration date you'll see how long it's been since it's flared up
00:24:36this expired three years ago
00:24:38prize
00:24:39i'm cured
00:24:41i have something else i want to tell you you know pmx
00:24:45do you think this is funny
00:24:48do you think toying with my emotions is some kind of joke
00:24:52i was terrified liam i thought you were collapsing
00:24:55right in front of me and and all for what
00:24:58a punchline
00:24:59no that's not what i meant
00:25:00i don't ever want to see your face again
00:25:02joanne what are you doing here
00:25:10joanne what are you doing here
00:25:17you brought that animal into this house how funny
00:25:23last time i saw you was at your precious little rescue center
00:25:26and you were being all high and mighty about ethics and animal care
00:25:29then you caught one whiff of liam's success and suddenly you're back
00:25:32dog in tow
00:25:34excuse me
00:25:35i'm here for the dog
00:25:36that's it
00:25:36we're out of here
00:25:38is that your alibi
00:25:39very convincing
00:25:41liam's a household name and suddenly you want him back
00:25:43chloe stop
00:25:44she came for the dog
00:25:48i'm right back off
00:25:50let's keep the sibling drama between you two
00:25:54joanne wait
00:25:55hey
00:25:56liam
00:25:56it's okay
00:25:58joanne was never good enough for you
00:26:00and she broke up with you five years ago
00:26:01and she'd do it again
00:26:02you don't need her
00:26:03do you want liam to really know what happened back then
00:26:06what happened
00:26:11yeah what are you talking about
00:26:14don't try to bullshit liam and i
00:26:16i can tell him the truth
00:26:18make him hate his stepsister
00:26:20then what
00:26:21it's not like we can actually get back together
00:26:25never mind
00:26:26chloe
00:26:30know your place
00:26:32and stay out of my personal life
00:26:34because the reason that you were at pmx
00:26:36is because dad begged me to take you
00:26:38but if it was up to me
00:26:39you wouldn't even be here
00:26:41get out
00:26:42i know my place liam

00:27:06he wouldn't admit it
00:27:08he said she came herself
00:27:09can you believe that
00:27:10that's absurd
00:27:12what about his allergy
00:27:13did he have
00:27:14a reaction
00:27:15i don't know
00:27:16he said he's cured
00:27:17technically there are desensitization therapies but
00:27:24you have to go through the reaction over and over
00:27:27most people end up in the hospital
00:27:29because of their allergies are ten times worse
00:27:31said he's cured
00:27:33let's put a pin in that
00:27:36let's go
00:27:37let's go
00:27:37let's go through
00:27:38so he went through all that
00:27:41for me
00:27:43do you think this is funny
00:27:57do you think toying with my emotions is some kind of joke
00:28:00i was terrified liam
00:28:01i thought you were collapsing
00:28:02right in front of me
00:28:04and all for what
00:28:05a punchline

00:49:58And the prosecutor's looking into whether he's ever been
00:50:01Unkind to animals. No, that's not possible. Nathan would never I mean he's devoted his whole life to saving them
00:50:08I'm so sorry. I really am
00:50:21Nathan stood by me when no one else would
00:50:23It's my turn to stand up for him

00:52:22PMX's stock continues to plunge after viral allegations where the public trust remains shaken with investors demanding for answers
00:52:31Pacey jr. We just took down a pharmaceutical giant. Give me a high five
00:52:42Hello there troublemaker
00:52:54Did you see that?
00:52:56We made headlines
00:52:58That's what I call justice
00:53:00Very clever
00:53:02Never doubted you
00:53:02You've made a mess of things for me, but if this makes the woman I care about smile, it's worth it
00:53:12Are you really going to trust him again?
00:53:14After everything?
00:53:16He resigned from PMX, didn't he?
00:53:18And he stood up for us
00:53:20I think it's time we let some grudges go, Nathan
00:53:24It's just
00:53:24It feels off
00:53:36I'm not in the mood for games today, Chloe
00:53:39Oh, too bad
00:53:41I had something interesting about Liam that I thought you might want to know
00:53:45You know, Liam and I have been together for a long time
00:53:48Longer than you may know
00:53:50You're trying to stir the pot, you're wasting your time
00:53:53I won't believe anything unless it comes from Liam himself
00:53:56Oh, you trust him that much now?
00:54:00I trust what I've seen
00:54:01And you
00:54:03You've always had that possessive little streak
00:54:06Since high school
00:54:07Always hanging around your brother like he belonged to you
00:54:11What, you think I didn't notice?
00:54:12How you'd glare when I was near him?
00:54:15But it doesn't matter, Chloe
00:54:18Because no matter how long you've been glued to his side
00:54:22You're still invisible to him
00:54:26Oh
00:54:27Is that so?
00:54:30Well, then you probably already know that Liam is the CEO of PMX
00:54:42No, that's right
00:54:46The company you hate
00:54:48The one that you just publicly attacked?
00:54:51Liam didn't resign, Joanne
00:54:53No, he owns it
00:54:57Liam wouldn't lie to me like that
00:54:58Not about something this big
00:55:00Oh, you still think I'm making this up?
00:55:06Heart diseases and rescue dogs are rising
00:55:08Because our beta blockers are going to go to the shelters first
00:55:11I built this company
00:55:13Based on the rescue dogs
00:55:15That is not up for debate
00:55:16He didn't just endorse the company, Joanne
00:55:19He built it from scratch
00:55:20Hey, perfect timing
00:55:29We're just celebrating Nathan's comeback
00:55:33Uh, okay, I'll call you guys later, you guys have fun
00:55:36Sure
00:55:38Hey, perfect timing
00:55:42We're just celebrating Nathan's comeback
00:55:45Uh, okay, I'll call you guys later, you guys have fun
00:55:48Sure
00:55:50Welcome to San Francisco, Joanne
00:56:10So, are you ready to bet?
00:56:13If Liam's really the CEO of PMX
00:56:16Will you admit your defeat?
00:56:17If it's true
00:56:19I'll expose every lie he's ever told
00:56:21And I'll leave him for good
00:56:24Well, then you better rest up
00:56:27Tomorrow's gonna be clarifying
00:56:34Joanne?
00:56:35Liam Johnson, we received the anonymous tip that you're the secret CEO of PMX
00:56:39Can you confirm if it's true?
00:56:40Yes, and if you are, what's your stand on the internet at the rescue center?
00:56:44Yes, it's true
00:56:47I am not only the former endorser of PMX
00:56:51But I'm also the CEO and founder of the company
00:56:54I take full responsibility for what happened
00:56:56It was completely unacceptable
00:56:58I have deep regret for the harm that was caused
00:57:01We launched a full investigation
00:57:03No excuses, no cover-ups
00:57:08So he's actually the CEO of PMX the whole time?
00:57:11All that theater, the endorsements, the stepping down
00:57:14Just lies
00:57:16And I actually believed him
00:57:17I was such a fool
00:57:19So you're really the CEO of PMX?
00:57:21Listen, everyone, PMX was born from love
00:57:26For a special person and our rescue dog that was battling from heart disease
00:57:30I stepped away for a while so that we could keep the focus on the cause
00:57:34Not in myself, but from now on I'm going to be stepping in a forward direction
00:57:38I'm going to be taking full responsibility for the company
00:57:41The investigation that we launched we are going to try to look at it from every single angle that we can
00:57:47We're going to look for the truth
00:57:48As soon as we know you will know all that I'm asking for is a little bit of time
00:57:52What the hell was that out there, huh?
00:57:58You call those reporters?
00:58:01They were going to come anyway
00:58:02You went behind my back, huh?
00:58:04Well, you know what?
00:58:06You're fired
00:58:08Liam, you can't be serious
00:58:09After everything I've done for you
00:58:11Everything you've done for me?
00:58:12I'm not going to have somebody on my team that's going to undermine me
00:58:14Get the fuck out of my office
00:58:16Fine
00:58:17You'll regret this
00:58:22Come on, Joanne, come on, come on, come on
00:58:26You can't watch the news, let's go
00:58:30Good morning, this is Dr. Clark speaking
00:58:33Nathan, hey, it's me
00:58:34Is Joanne there because she could not watch the news whatever happens?
00:58:37Why?
00:58:39I don't think that's something we both can control because she's not here
00:58:42She's not there?
00:58:43Okay, and where is she?
00:58:45She left for San Francisco yesterday
00:58:47Didn't you know?
00:58:48What?
00:58:52I am not only the former endorser of PMX
00:58:57But I'm also the CEO and founder of the company
00:59:04No, no, no, no, no, come on, come on
00:59:09Hi, this is Joanne
00:59:11I'm not available, so please leave a message
00:59:14Joanne, please, where are you? Just give me a call back
00:59:22Hello?
00:59:23Hey, Ten, I need you to pull all the flight logs from all flights leaving San Francisco today
00:59:28I need to know if Joanne Brown is leaving town
00:59:32Yes, sir
00:59:33Flight number 2186, departure time is 1838
00:59:36Oh, coach
00:59:48You've been stirring up scandals instead of training
00:59:51The season starts in weeks, I haven't seen you touch a ball
00:59:53Listen, I hear you, but I have some urgent matter I have to get to
00:59:56I'll be back
00:59:57You said that last time
00:59:59Now if Chloe hadn't told me you'd be halfway across the country by now
01:00:03You're not leaving
01:00:04But coach, you gotta move, I have to go
01:00:08You'll be throwing away your entire career
01:00:10Then so be it
01:00:11I lose Joanne
01:00:13Nothing really matters
01:00:15Five years over some stupid argument
01:00:18Regret, figuring out that I was wrong
01:00:20I'm not gonna make that mistake again
01:00:21You walk away now
01:00:23You'll be losing billions in endorsements
01:00:25Then I lose billions
01:00:27But if I lose her, I lose everything
01:00:34You're a damn fool
01:00:50He's gone
01:00:51I couldn't stop him
01:00:53What?
01:00:54Why'd you let him go?
01:00:56He was dead set on it
01:00:57You know
01:00:59I've never seen him like this
01:01:00Chloe
01:01:03Whatever you're planning, don't do anything stupid
01:01:12Please, Joanne, just wait for me
01:01:22Come on
01:01:23Come on, move, move, move
01:01:24Move, fucking traffic
01:01:26What are you doing?
01:01:55I'm sorry
01:01:58I shouldn't have left you
01:02:06I shouldn't have left any of you
01:02:10I know what you're gonna say
01:02:12I told you so
01:02:17No
01:02:17I was going to say
01:02:20If you need a shoulder to cry on
01:02:23I'm right here
01:02:25Do you think
01:02:26This is the punishment I deserve
01:02:29For walking out five years ago
01:02:31For not believing in him and us
01:02:34How did things come to this?
01:02:48Miss Brown?
01:02:52Yes?
01:02:52We regret to inform you
01:02:54The shelter is being shut down
01:02:57What?
01:02:58Is this about PMX?
01:02:59Did they file a complaint?
01:03:01Orders from City Hall
01:03:02Reports of unsanitary conditions
01:03:05And disease risk
01:03:06All animals are to be removed
01:03:08And euthanized
01:03:11Hey, what are you going with that?
01:03:12Hey
01:03:13That's a lie
01:03:14We passed our inspections last month
01:03:16Check the record
01:03:17This is against the law
01:03:18You cannot do this
01:03:20Everyone
01:03:21Please stop what you're doing
01:03:26Joanne
01:03:27May I have a word?
01:03:28Privately
01:03:39What are you really doing here?
01:03:40I'm here to help
01:03:44In my own way
01:03:50The officials out there?
01:03:52They're mine
01:03:52You sent them
01:03:54If you want your dogs to live
01:03:57You'll walk out of Liam's life
01:03:58No goodbyes
01:03:59No goodbyes
01:04:02No explanations
01:04:03Just disappear
01:04:04You would hurt innocent animals
01:04:06Just to erase me
01:04:08He still looks at you like you're his entire world
01:04:11I'll never read more than a shadow
01:04:12I'll never read more than a shadow with you around
01:04:13If you want your dog safe
01:04:15Leave
01:04:16It's the only deal I'm offering
01:04:19He and I have done enough damage
01:04:22Maybe walking away is the right thing to do
01:04:24I'll do it
01:04:26I'll do it
01:04:28Good
01:04:32Then your dogs live
01:04:33Oh
01:04:49Hey
01:04:58They don't feel what I feel
01:05:03William, maybe this is just the way we're supposed to be.
01:05:27Joanne?
01:05:28She's gone.
01:05:30Where did she go?
01:05:31Didn't say.
01:05:33Jess left.
01:05:36But she left something for you.
01:05:53Hi, baby.
01:05:57Joanne says she's yours now.
01:06:01Take good care of her.
01:06:03Hello.
01:06:08We found the culprit.
01:06:09We're bringing her into San Francisco now.
01:06:11Good work.
01:06:11I'll meet you soon.
01:06:19I'm always too late.
01:06:21Lost Lacey, now I lost Joanne too.
01:06:22Liam, don't bother trying to look for her.
01:06:35She doesn't want to be found.
01:06:36Liam, how does it feel to win the biggest game of your career?
01:06:52It's always been a dream come true for many, many years.
01:06:56Who do you want to thank most for this victory?
01:06:59Your manager, perhaps.
01:07:01Well, yes.
01:07:02Of course.
01:07:02You two seem close.
01:07:04Is your partnership more than professional?
01:07:07Yes.
01:07:08Liam and I are step-siblings, and our family supports our relationship.
01:07:12I'm proud to say we are together and soon to be married.
01:07:18Liam, tell us, when did you first realize you had feelings for Chloe?
01:07:23Hmm.
01:07:23Let me think.
01:07:24Maybe it was when she forced my girlfriend away from me.
01:07:31Or when she poisoned a dog and framed an animal rescue center for her.
01:07:38Liam, what are you doing?
01:07:40I'm just telling the truth, man.
01:07:41Get your fucking hand off me.
01:07:46You.
01:07:48Tell everybody who paid you to lie.
01:07:51It was her.
01:07:54Chloe poisoned my dog and made me lie.
01:07:58The whole thing.
01:07:59It was her plan.
01:08:00How dare you?
01:08:01You weren't even sad when your dog died.
01:08:03You just wanted the money.
01:08:04Chloe Harris, you're under arrest for fraud, cruelty to animals, and obstruction of justice.
01:08:10What?
01:08:10No, this is a lie.
01:08:11I don't even know her.
01:08:13Liam, please.
01:08:14You believe me, right?
01:08:15I have believed you for way too long.
01:08:17There has only been one love in my life.
01:08:24Miss Joanne Brown.
01:08:25I had a dog allergy for a very long time that was curated for a dog named Lacey.
01:08:34I cured my allergy and created a company called PMX.
01:08:37And that company was created for the dog and for every individual that loved animals just as much as we did.
01:08:43Chloe has ruined my world and my reputation, but I'm not going to allow it any further.
01:08:47From this day forward, all PMX medications will be free and donated to every single animal rescue center across the country.
01:09:02Oh, hey girl.
01:09:05Hi baby.
01:09:08She really knows how to make an entrance, huh?
01:09:11Now, the love of my life, Miss Joanne Brown.
01:09:25I'm so sorry, Liam.
01:09:27I should have believed you.
01:09:28I was scared, and I was wrong.
01:09:32But I've always loved you.
01:09:34I always have.
01:09:35I love you too.
01:09:41I love you too.

Im like 3 minutes in and this is the stupidest story line I've seen, so far. Did she really end things with the man she loves over a dog allergy?? Clearly it didn't bother him. Why would she even listen to his stuck up twit of a sister?
