Israel has launched new air strikes on Gaza, saying Hamas violated the terms of a US-backed ceasefire. Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu ordered the “powerful” strikes Tuesday that killed dozens, following an alleged attack on Israeli soldiers in Gaza. Hamas denies that attack, and says it will postpone the planned handover of the body of an Israeli hostage.
