About "Don't Let My Echo Fade"
"Don't Let My Echo Fade" is a deeply personal short film that explores the lived experience of a boy navigating life with Tourette Syndrome. Drawing from real-life observations and the authentic experiences of a close friend living with Tourette's, this film seeks to shed light on the challenges, misconceptions, and resilience that define the daily reality of those with this neurological condition.
Through intimate storytelling, the film captures not just the visible tics and involuntary movements, but the internal struggles often invisible to others—the social anxiety, the fear of judgment, and the constant battle to be seen beyond the syndrome. At its core, this is a story about identity, acceptance, and the profound need to be heard and understood.
This project was born from a desire to give voice to an experience that is often misunderstood or reduced to stereotypes. By grounding the narrative in genuine human connection and real-world insight, "Don't Let My Echo Fade" aims to foster empathy and spark meaningful conversations about neurodiversity and inclusion.
