Protectionism and bottleneck in AI growth, leaders warn in APEC summit

South Korean President Lee Jae Myung said at the APEC CEO summit that the global economy was facing a crisis of rising protectionism and nationalism, while SK Group chairman Chey Tae-won warned that the explosive growth in artificial intelligence data centres is creating "bottlenecks" for chips and other key supplies.
